You guys are never gonna guess what happened. The power jack on my wife’s laptop broke! (I know! Right???) So you won’t believe it but I went on Unilocal to find a repair place and can’t across Winmark. It was the first and only listing I looked at because it got good reviews and it was close to Home Depot (Believe it or not, but it just so happened I needed some stuff from Home Depot too, but that’s a whole other story) Anyways, I swear I’m not lying when I tell you I called this place up, told them what happened, they called me back twenty minutes later and gave me a very fair price of $ 90 for the work, I brought the laptop in, went to Home Depot (again, don’t get me started on that amazing story) and then a few days later the guy called me to tell me everything was fixed. Well, you’ll never guess what happened next… I went in, paid $ 90, got the laptop, took it home, turned the laptop on and everything worked as expected. I swear it’s all 100% the truth!

I’d like to give the owner, Mr. Steer, a «Big up» for his excellent service, reasonable rates and terrific attitude. He is what real customer service is and always should be. I am glad that I live in the neighborhood and can count on him for all my computer needs and questions.

THIS is local business at it’s best. I had a broken iPad screen and instead of bringing it to Apple i decided a local business was the better route and I’m glad I did. The owner Ferdinand fixed it perfectly and for a fair and reasonable rate. He is a gentleman and I will be sure to be bringing him my electronics in the future.
DON’T go to the mall. Come here instead and help make your local business district vibrant and diverse. At least you aren’t a name on an iPad taken by someone wearing a blue t-shirt…here you are a customer… and that feels good in 2015.
