Not sure I understand all the hype. Small and quaint for certain. Décor is a pastiche of Goodwill, Ikea and Target. Perhaps the most disconcerting thing is their offering of a pumpkin peppermint crème brûlée latte. It is neither Halloween nor Christmas so I find this drink poorly timed /poorly conceived.

I haven’t tried this place yet, but I’ve walked by and it seems like a great place to meet people. I’ve seen this cute guy in there sometimes wearing orange pants. If he reads this review, leave me your number on the bulletin board inside the shop. Maybe we can have a coffee date?

I normally don’t take the time to post reviews because I’m selfish and I don’t want to share my favorite spots. However the service, drinks and food here have been the highlight of my day that I’m compelled to say something. The location is extremely convenient for me since I work relatively close to the cube. I’ve been a loyal regular customer since it opened. The staff always makes me feel special, they even took the time to learn my name! The staff is extremely knowledgable about coffee but they don’t give off that«know-it-all» coffee-snob vibe that other places do. I look forward to becoming a regular here! I highly recommend the Cube.

Definitely lives up to the hype. The barista in the pumpkin spice-colored pants was quite helpful and attentive. Quick service and complimentary snacks definitely explain why this café is so popular!

I can’t remember the last time I was this enthralled by a café. The convenient location, the unassuming people, the tastefully understated décor, the intensely aromatic coffee; The Cube is everything I want in a coffee shop and more. Visiting this establishment has become the highlight of my days.

I was going to give this place 4 stars only because I had SUCH a hard time getting in, but once I tasted the awesome coffee and pastries, they won me over. Let me start from the beginning. I started calling their reservation line about 2 months ago, and I would be on hold forever. My phone would run out of battery RIGHTWHEN the lady with a French-accent would ask«Comment puis-je vous aider?»(«How may I help you?»). So I finally wised up and bought 3 extra Jackery USB power sticks. and voila! After 7 hours of being on hold… I GOTMYRESERVATION! On the day of, I woke up extra early to get ready. There is no recommended dress code on the website or this Unilocal page, but that is extra worrisome for me. Sometimes I really appreciate it when the place straight up says«BLACKTIE/FORMAL WEAR» because it’s so much easier that way. But when it is open ended like this, there is so much more room for interpretation AND error. And if you know me, I don’t make errors! I had my stylist friend take a red eye in from Milano(that’s Milan for all you non-Italian speakers) and dress me up in a mix of Ferragamo and Brunello Cucinelli. It was so hard to strike that balance of «gotta look great» and«trying too hard.» Good thing my friend Massimo delle Finestre has great taste, and made sure I was able to exude that hard to obtain sprezzatura with a «I have money» sensibility. I was all ready to go. I also packed a light scarf just in case the A/C was too strong. I get there, valet at the front($ 75 validated parking!), and stroll in with my new loafers(specifically for sipping coffee in). I turn the corner, and what do I see? A LINE. At this point, I’m getting super worried. This place is open for 1 hour, and I had arrived around 3:15. Also, I had weened myself off of coffee for 2 weeks at this point because I wanted maximum impact from The Cube, and I was frothing at the mouth. I tipped the hostess a $ 50 so I could get some intel on what was going on, and I found out that this place is like a Vegas club. Two girls to one guy ratio! And there was some dude in there, apparently writing a screenplay with that smug little face of his… taking his SWEETASSTIME with his large pour over coffee. I could tell he was sitting there for a while because I saw all the condensation on the outside of his cup. So, I started throwing MADSHADE at him through the door, and I think he finally got the clue. He packed up, and left. I may or may not have said a few nasty things to him as he walked out with that smug little face of his. AND I WASIN… RIGHT at 3:57PM! I had three minutes to enjoy my doppio espresso(double espresso), a brioche(a European pastry) and got to peruse a foreign lifestyle magazine. Yes, I only had 3 minutes, but it was a GREAT3 minutes. I am definitely coming back!

Amazing coffee. Might be the barista’s skill that really makes their pour over shine.

I REALLY needed a cup of coffee today, and this place hit the spot. It was convenient, clean, and the barista was very knowledgeable about the coffee they were using. I even got a free refill!

Great location. In the corner of Aisle 2 and Row B. Large variety of snacks. Good to learn about broadcast business if that’s what you are into. Definitely a hidden gem. Tip: The foam roller is a must try.
