I walked proudly through the week with my beautiful color, sassy and classy nat-​u-​rall haircut. God has blessed Teresa to filter her amazing energy and confidence into others and I love her for that.
As for my teenage daughter… she took the appointment of my previous stylist this past Tuesday. God has answered my prayers. She had her ends trimmed and hair shaped up. She has been wrapping it every night! She thanked me for paying to have her done. I thanked her for taking care of it. For real and truth be it told… I think having her meet Teresa and feeling her presence as a confident & beautiful black woman had a lot to do with my daughters turn around to try and take care of her hair. So I extend a shout out to Teresa as well. I’ll keep you posted cuz I want to get her into your chair so you can work your magic!

I love, love, love my new haircut! I went to Teresa last week to get a bad cut fixed and she did exactly what I asked for. The entire time I was in her chair I felt completely confident that she knew what she was doing. I don’t see very clearly without glasses and had no idea of what was actually happening although I was facing the mirror. When I finally put my glasses on after she was done, I shed a tear. I not only looked great, I felt great. It has been a week since Teresa cut my hair and it still looks AMAZING! I am so glad I called the attitude adjuster. I cannot help but smile every time I see my reflection in a mirror.

Chhhiiiiiilllllllleeeeeeee… I just got home from the experience of a lifetime, honey! Teresa Gray is the whole truth and NOTHING but the truth. I set an appt with her after searching on Unilocal and consulting with a very good friend of mine, and hers as well. Before the appt we had a phone consultation about the current state of my hair and the look I was hoping for. I followed up by sending her pictures of me, my hair, and my desired style.
Before I went to Teresa, I was a kitchen beautician. I had so many bad experiences with beauticians that I figured I might as well do it myself… and for some time, I was doing pretty good. Then I started relaxing my hair and stressing and before I knew it, all my «good» hair was broken, dry and damaged. I knew I had to find someone who could care for my hair because I didn’t have the energy or the patience anymore. I was too through.
During today’s appointment, Teresa took the time to walk me through what she was planning to do to my hair and I completely trusted her judgement and her vision for me. Other than being an amazingggggg stylist, Teresa is thee most energetic, funny and spirited woman (and beautiful inside and out)! I had a therapy session for my hair and my spirit and came out really feeling in control of my life and my hair. One of her quotes that stuck with me: «Honey…you have your whole life to be a haute mess’! YAAAASSSSS, T, YAAAAASSSSS!!!
I’m so happy to have found my hairSTYLIST and I cannot wait for my next visit! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Teresa is the BEST! She’s been cutting my short hair for about 8 years, and even though I’m growing it out now… I love her to death and wouldn’t let anyone else touch my head! To say she knows what she’s doing doesn’t even do her justice. She’s a genius with hair, and also just a fun and hilarious person to be around. I always feel better after I leave her chair :)

Teresa is the best! Been over 10 years and I still love my short ‘do!!! I can never see going back long! My hair is healthy and always looks good even though I go every 6 weeks. I still get compliments on my hair up until the day I go sit in her chair to «really» get work done!!! She is a true professional and that’s what I love because some stylists in my very distant past did NOT value my time or my hair! She knows her stuff. I highly recommend her if you are serious about getting a new attitude because your hair will be saying something once you step out of her chair!!!

There are no words to describe how amazing Teresa is when it comes to hair, and not to mention as an individual. I have been looking for a stylist who knows curly hair for all my life. Then, after I accidentally relaxed my hair with a too hot flat iron, to the point where my hair was breaking off in pieces, I decided to go for the big chop once I got enough natural growth. I googled, asked around, then found Theresa.
In the first text exchanges before I met her, she was so responsive, answered questions, asked about my hair and to see a picture, and was super funny as well. She was very patient with my fear of cutting off my hair as well. I haven’t had short hair since I was five, and was traumatized as everyone thought I was just a very pretty boy.
The day I went in for my first appointment, I felt like I already knew her. Her personality is amazing, and I am always laughing and very entertained when I’m in her chair. When I sat in her chair, she looked and felt my hair, asked me what happened, what my hair goals were, and what I wanted, as well as making suggestions as to what will look best on me. You don’t get very many stylists who actually listen to you when they ask you that.
As the cutting started, no tears were shed, and I actually loved my new short cut! We are now on a slow, yet steady path of getting my curls back to being long and healthy. However I’m playing with the idea of staying short for a while because I know that I will never have the guts again to cut off my hair for no reason, and that I know that I would look amazing because of Teresa’s exceptional skills.
I get complimented daily on my cut, and have actually been yelled at by a moving car of girls telling me they loved my hair. My only wish was that I found Teresa years ago when I first moved to LA, instead of constantly getting butchered by people who don’t know curls, and who would only give me a style that looked good when I straightened it.
I cannot say enough good things about Teresa both professionally, and personally. She is just an amazing person all around, hilarious, and down right talented. I consider myself lucky to have my hair touched by her! She isn’t called the Attitude Adjuster for no reason. She will always make you look her best.

Teresa Gray! That is all that needs to be said. This woman is not only a KILLER with the scissors, she is wonderful with hair care. I went to Teresa because I needed someone to take care of my short hair and keep me fly. DONE! Her professionalism is immeasureable, and her conversation is ever entertaining. This woman has taken care of my hair like no other stylist that I have EVER met in California. If there was an Oscar for hair care she’d win hands down. Recently, I went back east for a stint and had some unfortunate hair issues. My hair fell out due to someone putting a perm in my perfectly blonde, bleached… Teresa maintained hair. I felt so bad, for allowing that to happen, that I even warned her before visiting her upon my return. When I arrived… I took off my scarf… she sighed… took a seat… and created a miracle that is now my FLY @$$ haircut!!! I walk out and turn heads because of her. THANK YOU TERESA!!! — – you can’t go wrong with this chic… you just can’t. Oh! And you might luck up and get a few glasses of wine too. LOVE HER!!! Hair Care… she gives perfection. Also, for people like me that just come in and want the world… she won’t do anything to your hair that is NOT going to be right. She just won’t. She actually cares about your hair. I’m still mostly blonde. My hair is fly. It is all because of her being an expert at her craft. Let her put her hands in your hair. You won’t regret it.

Teresa is a hair doctor from heaven! I have been in her chair faithfully for the past 5 years and can’t imagine life without her. I’d been to several stylists in the LA trying to find someone who could cut (essential for my short coif) and style me without using a bucket of products on my fine grade of hair. Once I met Teresa and sat in her chair… magic happened. She hasn’t been able to get rid of me since then. I’ve had several different looks with her and she’s always on top of new trends but doesn’t have all of her clients looking the same. As for me I love a classy yet edgy look and Teresa never fails to deliver… she keeps me fly… ps Jay Leno once told me I had the flyest haircut he’d seen in long time! (pretty kewl) #healthyhair
