Lorraine’s Sewing Center

I had some suits which were in need of a massive overhaul and a friend recommended Lorraine to me. I was not disappointed – she gave me a lot of individual attention and the final product was really impressive. Her rates were pretty reasonable and she was a pleasure to work with. Even though Georgetown was a bit of a schlep from where I live, there was ample parking and it’s not too far of a walk from the Dupont metro. I will definitely use her again!

LOVE Lorraine!!! Everybody should have a tailor; and Lorraine should be everyone who lives in DC’s go to wonder woman tailor! I took some very unattractive uniform pieces in to be altered and when I got them back I couldn’t believe they were the same items I brought in!!! She has a wonderful eye and pays attention to detail. She is absolutely wonderful to chat with and she’s always smiling. Lorraine understands that cost is a major concern when getting certain alterations done, and she discusses options with each and every client.
I’ve had darts put in a dress, a skirt taken in and a blazer almost taken apart and put back together in order to change the shape. Her prices are reasonable, she works efficiently and she pays attention to detail. Love Lorraine’s Sewing Center!
