I work in the area close to this establishment, I just purchased an item from them and I had a pleasant experience and would go back. Good value.

Took a piece of jewelry to get it repaired, I was told exactly what I would pay ahead of time, they called a few days later, picked it up, they had done exactly what I asked for. Excellent customer service, prompt, I would not hesitate to recommend them! Price-wise they were very fair.

I went in to get 2 batteries changed from one watch. I was surprised when he told me, at noon, to come back at 4pm. I told him I’d be back at 5. At 5pm he told me to wait another half an hour. I’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes before. When I asked what the hold up was he didn’t apologize but instead started yelling at me. He then showed me that I couldn’t just take my watch back as it had been opened. So I had no choice but to leave him my watch. I came back a half an hour later. I had not intention of paying full price since he was an hour and a half late. I was willing to pay ¾th of the price. He had an issue with that. He also brought up his car to me. He told me how when his car wasn’t ready his mechanic called him and let him know. I pointed out to him that he had my phone number and he could have called me and let me know. He said that he wasn’t going to call his customers to let them know when he was running late. I suggested that he might want to start doing that. In the end I only paid for one of the batteries. When I left his shop I took a closer look at my watch and noticed that it was still not functioning properly. He never changed the batteries. Long story short, I paid that man for nothing. He’s a crook.

We have been patronizing Mr. Korkoulakos’s shop for over 20 years. He is a perfectionist, a gentleman and always gives a fair price for his work. I have entrusted complicated work to him that other jewelers will not attempt, and have always been satisfied with the results. I have come to rely on his judgment because he is always honest with me and will tell me if something I want to have done isn’t a good idea and will suggest better alternatives. Unlike many other jewelers, he never turns up his nose at a small job, or a piece that is of strictly sentimental value. The location is perfect, right on top of a Metro stop, in a nice building, with a buzz-in system, so I always feel safe bringing my things there. Although he is considerably more skilled than a typical mall jeweler, his prices are equivalent. I seldom give 5 stars, but I can unequivocally recommend this jeweler to anyone.

Great Service. Cleaned my other ring for free while I waited. Friendly, resonable prices, definitely recommend!

Do NOT service your jewelry here! I was extremely disappointed with the service and price I had to pay for what I thought looked like a great jeweler location. At drop off I asked for the price of cleaning and at pick up this price was doubled! When I argued what I was originally quoted, they told me «well, we do more than clean it, we check it too». !!! I asked for cleaning, got the price, and that’s what I left it there for. Save your time and go somewhere with better customer service and less scamming for extra money.

They remounted a stone for us and did a wonderful job. Price was half that quoted at another local store. Convenient — right above the Farragut West metro station and really nice people here too. I will go back. Update: The stone fell out again a couple of days later. They fixed it again and repointed the setting but a shame that happened. Changed rating from 5 start to 3.

A link on husband’s most beloved watch broke, rendering it unwearable. Chris Kourkoulakos to the rescue! Dropped off the precious timepiece in the morning. Three hours and $ 15 later, it was ready for pick-up. The band looks excellent and fits even better. Things to know about CK Jewelers: 1) You have to be buzzed into the store. The shop is small and staffed only by Chris and his son(I assume it’s his son). It’s also located in the lobby of a busy office building with lots of foot traffic. Having to be buzzed in to gain entry is their extra security measure. 2) At first, Mr. Kourkoulakos may seem grumpy; even gruff, perhaps. He’s not. 3) Aside from doing repair work, there’s a lovely selection of bijoux for sale as well. Small, family run shop + convenient location + great, speedy service + fair prices = Yay! We’re fans.
