I requested a very small, simple cake for my husband and I’s elopement, and what arrived was the loveliest cake! Exactly as requested, with the most realistic sugar rose atop, it was just perfect, in both size and design. But more importantly, the taste! We got rum butter cake with lime-coconut mousse and buttercream, and wow. It was just amazing. We vacuum sealed and froze the remaining to make SURE we can enjoy it next year. I should also mention I did all of this via email from overseas, and they were incredibly accommodating and helpful — I can’t thank them enough. My day was perfect, in great part to them!

My dad surprised us with a cake from Eloise’s for our reception(we didnt have a wedding, just a small get together with family) The top tier of our cake was red velvet with cream cheese in between each layer. The bottom was this amazing champagne with some sort of citrus mousse between each layer and it was a huge hit with the entire party. The cake was beautiful and just absolutely delicious! I also love how she will make you an anniversary version too so you dont have to freeze the cake! I will definitely be recommending her to everyone I know!

We got our wedding cake, and recently, our anniversary cake from Eloise’s Pastries and LOVED them both. They were easy to work with, and very communicative via e-mail as we don’t live in Virginia. The cakes were delicious, and we really enjoyed going and doing an on-site tasting, where we could see some images of cakes they had created in the past. My husband and I didn’t go in with a super specific vision of what we wanted, but the Eloise crew helped us pair it down and it was perfect! To this day a year later, friends and family(and my husband and I) still talk about how good the cake was. We will be back for sure, and we highly recommend Eloise’s Pastries to anyone looking for delicious dessert for any occasion!

Eloise’s Pastries is a bakery focused on quality and customer service. I ordered 36 cookies with my federal government agency logo on them and they tasted great and looked awesome. Everyone kept commenting on them and people wanted to keep them instead of eating them. Heck, I thought some folks were going to turn them into paperweights they liked the look so much. 36 cookies weighed 7.5 pounds which I think gives you an idea of the amount of quality ingredients in them. They were also individually packaged which I also appreciate. I picked mine up on a Monday for a party that took place Thursday morning and they were as fresh as they could be. I ordered half butter cream and half chocolate butter cream. I was able to arrange a later than normal pick-up time, something I really appreciated. They were boxed nicely and had a very pretty bow/ribbon on top which would make a nice touch for a gift. They were all super to work with and I will for sure order the same cookies for a future event. I just supplied a high resolution logo and they did the rest. Thanks for making our holiday party a memorable one!

I found THE design I HAD to have online for my wedding cake and Eloise’s Pastries didn’t hesitate to make it for me! The cake was absolutely gorgeous! I was so happy with it and with the price! I would, and have, recommend them to everyone! They even added my cake to their designs! Check it out, it’s the last one under G9 in the gallery

Horrible experience with Millie for the below reasons: First off, if you’re a bride, know EXACTLY how you want your cake to look, if you go back and forth with Millie even once, she will write you a scathing email suggesting that if you ‘don’t trust her and her team then maybe you should find another baker’. The wedding cake color was white with white piping while, our contract stated it was to be an ivory colored cake with white piping. None of the detail could be seen on the cake unless you were less than a foot away. Flowers were not placed on the cake. Millie told the wedding coordinator that she would«not place sub-par flowers on the cake»(I saw the flowers and they were fresh.) She then left, leaving the cake plain with the flowers just heaped on the very visible cake table. The taste of the wedding cake was not what any of us remembered tasting-the ingredients seemed to be a lower quality. We were very taken aback on the wedding day with the awful tasting cake, having remembered very different cake at the tasting. The groom’s cake was inedible. Millie admitted to this saying she would check on what happened with the manufacturer. She did give a 1⁄3 of our payment back, but I would have much rather spent a bit more at a reliable baker since you only have one wedding day. Overall, we were very disappointed with her lack of professionalism and cakes tasting different at the tasting and wedding.

My event planner recommended Eloise’s Pastries to provide the sweets for my client appreciation event, and I’m so glad that she did. Everything was absolutely scrumptious and I can’t decide what I liked best — the apple-cranberry tarts, the bite-sized carrot cakes, or the gluten-free sugar cookies. It helped me so much that they had gluten-free options that didn’t sacrifice the flavor. I can’t wait to have another event so that I can order more yummies from Eloise’s!

The only thing I knew about the wedding was that I wanted a really good cake. Mille made us the perfect cake even though we were unable to describe what it should look like, and she took time to add little details to make it special! And man, that cake was so good… Luckily we have some left to finish on our honeymoon, and she makes you the top layer again for your 1st anniversary. I loved working with her, and am trying to come up with a reason to have her make a cake next week, too. One week anniversary cake is a tradition that needs to be started…
