I had waited a long time to try this place. I was pleasantly surprised how fresh everything was. The veggie fried rice had large vegetables that were fresh. I also got scallion pancakes and spring roll. Both were very delicious.

Everything is brown. Too much soy sauce and not enough seasonings. Overcooked.

Got some takeout here from work the other other other day. Coworker got beef with mushroom lunch special — he said that the beef tasted like fish. Weird. I got the schezuan chicken and it came with a ton of vegetables. And despite me waiting a whole day before I ate it, it was still good. Would I order from here again? Maybe. Is it cheap Chinese filling food? Sure is.

The food is gross, the place is filthy, Its garbage !!! Was in there over a busy Holiday, They were making a mountain of chicken fingers. When a bunch of them fell n the floor. They were picked up and put back on platter. I complained to who I thought was the owner, She said no didn’t happen. Well neither has me going back there. STAYAWAY if I could give o stars I would.

Little sketched out by the look of the place but makes great Chinese. I am very picky when it comes to really Chinese food. But the past 2 times have been great. Nothing burnt or super oily. I would recommend solely on taste and flavor. The look of the place doesn’t give the food justice.

I expected American Chinese food to be bad(I was too hungry to make a wise choice), but I didn’t expect it to be SOBAD. I ordered a roast pork fried rice. It’s $ 7.50 but it’s literally just rice with tasteless soy sauce. It took me about 5min to figure out if it’s pork fried rice or chicken pried rice(my friend ordered chicken) cuz it only had about 5tiny pieces of pork and same amount of onions.

First off, will try again. Just moved into new apartment, no flatware, asked for chopsticks and chili oil(love spicy!). Neither was delivered. Sadly I was«that guy» asking for a return trip for chopsticks, else I couldn’t eat :-/But they missed both special requests leaving my experience of bland food pretty flat. Hope Round 2 is better.

I live down the street from this place so I REALLY wanted to like the food here… I’ve been multiple times and every time worse than the previous… I’ve tried general gao’s chicken, fried rice, chicken wings, and worst of all their boneless pork strips…(They were green!). The service is just as bad… When I confronted them about the rancid meet, they literally told Me not to come back there! Go to 3 fortunes down the street!

Ridiculous minimum delivery charge. IIRC it was something like $ 20. I order from other local restaurants and someone in my building always says I should order from here. I have ordered from here twice in the last 5 or so years and a meal I ordered in the last 7 – 10 days was definitely worse than I remember. The shrimp dumplings, usually one of the best dishes IMHO, was disgusting. Gummy, bland, skin so mushy they stuck together. No sauce on the side. Ribs could have been good. Meaty, done well, but no seasoning, not even salt. I don’t remember what else I had, it was that worthless. Whatever it was, it was also bland. Most expensive tasteless meal I ever had. Never again.

This is our«go to» for local Chinese delivery. We usually order online and delivery is fast. Our favorites — plain lo mein, appetizer combo(Egg Roll, Crab Rangoon, Chicken Fingers and Boneless Spare Ribs — Boneless spare ribs are like jerky, but I like that), Peking ravioli, scallion pancakes, chicken with broccoli, chicken with curry, chicken with mixed vegetables, and shrimp with broccoli. Now I’m hungry, but luckily we have leftovers from last night. :) Only things I don’t understand is why rice is extra, they don’t give chopsticks or extra hot mustard packs even when you request them via online ordering.

I order takeout from this place because it’s close and convenient. I like to give these small hole in the wall places business, because I know how hard it is to work and earn a living. I ordered a dinner combination with appetizer. When I got home, I noticed the dinner was not what I ordered.(plus it was missing the appetizer!) I called back & the young girl who took my order chastised me saying she repeated my order etc. I told her I know what I said & ordered. When returning, the mother again chastised me! I told the younger son, I was not going to make a scene, but they don’t get the mantra, that the customer is always right! To say the least, they’ve lost a customer!

Great takeout. Fast delivery. Really good beef teriyaki, chicken teriyaki, lo mein, fried rice and general Gao chicken. Have not gone in to eat so can’t review seated service. Just consistently great Chinese take out.

90 minutes to get some General Tso’s chicken is unacceptable. Food is ok but way too long.

I don’t have high standards. I knew I was getting Chinese takeout from a place that has only 2.5 stars. However they still an aged to disappoint me. I got a large pu pu platter and a small lobster sauce for $ 25.80. I braved the snow storm to go pick it up. I arrive and the young girl at the register has her back to the store front. She’s playing with her iPhone. I wait to see how long it takes. Finally a lady from the kitchen side comes and greets me. On my way back home I was so excited thinking of the pu pu platter! Everything about the food was wrong and bad. I am a father and this was to feed two adults and two kids. I felt bad that I had to give them this food. This was beyond low quality. Chinese food is hit or miss from places like this… but how do you mess up this bad? The 2 beef teriyaki sticks had very small and short pieces of beef on them. This can’t be regulation! The fried shrimps were not edible as the dough on the inside was not even cooked all the way through. See the pictures. The 6 or 7 pieces of boneless spare ribs were way over cooked and dry. It’s like nawing on wood. This must be what it’s like to be a beaver. The wings were okay. The fingers were stubby shirt fingers. 2 had undercooked dough and 2 were well done. The egg rolls were almost vegetarian. The main distinction between an egg roll and spring roll is the pieces of pork in an egg roll. There were probably 2 small pieces in each egg roll. It tasted so bland and blah. I didn’t have any crab ran goons so I will reserve comment. The lobster sauce was basically minced pork soup! There is no gravy. It’s just pork in water! Overall, we have been here several times before. This is an all time worse… enough so that we likely won’t be going back.

I wanted to eat something greasy and quick. So I opted for this little joint on my way home. Its seems to be a busy little place where everyone is busy behind the counter stirring rice and veggies. I wanted greasy and not-so-good chinese, but dint sign up for this bad! I think if you are drunk on Friday night and wanting to have something on your way, this place might work out coz you are hammered bad that you dont give a damn about the taste! Not a place to go if you are sober. Good job you guys on feeding the drunk.

My wife and I have had a hard time settling on a regular Chinese takeout place in our area. Nothing has really jumped out at us. I think Lily’s may have solved our problem We had takeout from here a few nights ago. We both had dinner specials. My wife had the pork fried rice with two appetizers special. She chose the crab Rangoon and chicken fingers as her Apps. I had the Kung Pao chicken with PFR and chicken fingers. The rice was excellent. Fluffy, flavorful and not to greasy. The Kung Pao was delicious, just the right amount of chicken and spice. The chicken fingers had more chicken than breading. The delivery time was good. We were pleased. We will use Lily’s again

Teriyaki dinner is not your average teriyaki dinner. Yuck. I added a pic you can see-total disappointment. They should say so on the menu. When I called because I thought they gave me someone else’s food, it was obviously not the first time they had to explain that to a confused customer.

Absolutely Disgusting. The crab rangoons are utterly disappointing. Bland and without a hint of crab, It felt like eating straight flour. The pad thai had a flavor of filthy sink. Generic and Greasy. Need a microscope to find the shrimp. My general’s lunch special, had that same«washed out in a sink» flavor. The rice was so greasy, it no longer made a nice side for the flavorful chicken. It doesn’t taste like your typical generals, but not all together terrible. The sauce is a bit too thin. General’s Salty Sink Syrup. The egg rolls were good! The boneless pork was too fatty but otherwise, flavor and consistency was good.

Very tasty Chinese take-out! Friendly, good service, decent prices, and the food tastes good… what more can you ask for? I’m particularly fond of the appetizers, good egg rolls and chicken fingers… personally, I really dislike the proliferation of «boneless spare ribs,» because they’re not spare ribs at all and they DON’T taste the same… like every other Chinese restaurant, this place has replaced the real spare ribs with the«boneless» kind in their appetizer combos, but at least this place uses lean pieces of real MEAT instead of the disgusting blobs of fat most Chinese restaurants try to pass off as «boneless spare ribs.» So they’re still not spare ribs, but they taste great! They have really good chicken wings, too, and my wife enjoyed the crab rangoons. Great soup. Try the Special Wonton Soup For Two! We’ve only tried a couple of the entrees so far but we haven’t been disappointed yet! An interesting item they have on the menu is «plain lo mein.» It’s exactly what it sounds like, just the noodles and sauce and nothing else… not even veggies. It’s priced accordingly, you get a large container stuffed as full as can be for even less money than a small serving of meat or vegetable lo mein. It’s a good item to know about if you’re trying to feed a huge crowd on a small budget, or as a simple alternative to boiled rice. They’re right down the street from us so we just pick it up ourselves, so I don’t know what their delivery times are… but it’s worth waiting for, this is some very good Chinese food!
