The best! Courteous, knowledgeable, dependable, professional. My vet called the prescription in, someone from Scriptworks called me later that day, the medication arrived by mail(and incredibly well packed) the next afternoon. Simple and seamless service. I’m *so* glad to have found them. These guys are basically the opposite of Abbott’s in Berkeley. Thank heavens!

This is how a business should be run! Every time I’ve called I’ve been able to get a live person almost immediately and everyone there is knowledgeable about their products and able to help. Prescriptions and refills are filled quickly AND they actually call you(or text) to let you know they’re ready. I’ve had several special requests and they always accommodate with no problem. My cat loves their tuna and chicken flavored medicines too — even licks the syringe.

I use a compounding medication for my Vitiligo and have used that for many years. I used to order that from a pharmacy in Texas. However, that pharmacy no longer ship to other states. I was delighted when I found Script Works in Walnut Creek, Ca. Bob the main pharmacist is a very professional, knowledgeable, kind and curious person. The staff of the pharmacy are also very nice and professional. If you need a compounding medication I highly recommend that you will use Script works. This pharmacy would be a great place to do business with.

I’m a veterinarian and often need medications compounded for my patients. Scriptworks is always my first choice among compounding pharmacies. I’m always able to get a pharmacist on the line and get my prescriptions ordered quickly. These guys do an awesome job and I don’t hesitate to recommend them.

**Edit** In reply to Robert: I want to make this situation as clear as possible, so I’m going to step through everything that happened that day and add some details that I missed the first time around. 1. I had my prescription for my muscle relaxers sent to Scriptworks around 1:00PM. The script I got for hydrocodone was given to me to deliver by hand since it was a controlled substance. This was my mistake, I did not understand that Scriptworks was a compound pharmacy(or know what that was even) until after I had visited. 2. I walk in and hand over my written script and ask if they had gotten one from the clinic I had just visited, they said no. The nice lady at the counter told me they don’t usually fill prescriptions like the one I had just handed her but offered to do it anyway if I really needed it and I asked her to do it. I also informed her that another one will be arriving later that day and told her exactly what it was, and that I would like them both delivered together; she agreed. 3. I get a call late in the day from the front office of my complex informing me that my medication arrived. I’m a bit unhappy that I’ve got to hobble my way to the office in the condition that I’m in, I really wish the medication had been delivered to my door. I noticed on the receipt my apartment number had not been included, I don’t know if this was my fault or Scriptworks. I make it back inside and immediately get a call from Scriptworks asking if I had gotten my medication, I said I had. Not more than a minute later I open the package to see that I had only received 1 of the 2 medications, my muscle relaxers weren’t there! For those of you who have never had back problems, these are incredibly important especially if you are having muscle spasms, and they also knock you out so taking them at night is a MUST. If you take them during the day you are basically the living dead if awake at all. I immediately called Scriptworks back and got their answering machine saying they were closed! 4. In a panic I called the clinic I had visited earlier that day and pleaded for them to send the prescription somewhere else that was open so I could have my medication for the evening. During this conversation I wanted to make sure the prescription had been sent to Scriptworks, I wanted to know who was at fault. The nurse on the phone told me their system sent it at 2:10PM and received confirmation from Scriptworks that it was received. Sigh. She thought they could send it elsewhere and that she’d call me back. It was at this point that I decided to write my original review. When she called me back she informed me that it wasn’t possible without the doctor’s consent, and that doctor had left for the day. I begged her to contact the doctor to get her ok, she said she’d call me if she was able to… I never got that call. 5. The next day. Without the muscle relaxers I woke up in bad shape but nowhere near as bad as the previous day. I could not go to work, as a contractor I do not get sick leave so this was an unpaid sick leave day, I had really hoped to make it in. Anyway, I called scriptworks to find out what happened, they claimed to have gotten the prescription after 5:00 and they were closed by then. On top of that, they didn’t carry the medication I needed… they could have told me that when I was in there earlier that day. What happened to those 3 hours between when the clinic said they sent it and Scriptworks said they received it? Something fishy was going on, but ultimately whoever’s fault it was I ended up paying the price. The script was sent to CVS and I finally got my meds later that day. That is the full story, line by line. What went wrong? A lot of things. Sure, I was at fault for some of them… but I see a LOT of things Scriptworks could have done to prevent this situation from happening. I’ll leave it up to you dear reader to judge whether you want to roll the dice with them or not. I had to delete my original review, I didn’t have space to keep both sadly.

Fantastic crew there. Bob’s super helpful. Have all pets medications compounded there and they deliver within the area to your door for an extra $ 5 which is a huge help. They will adjust the meds to make them as palatable for the pet(cats for us) and offer lots of alternatives to adjust. Also great about calling vet for refills or to clarify dosing. Minimum is only $ 45 so not overly expensive and makes the world of difference giving yucky meds to kitties. Couldn’t recommend higher.

Amazing customer service all around. The staff is extremely helpful, caring and friendly. The pharmacist took the time to explain the product and was extremely informative. They really set the bar for how customer service should be.

Spoke with a great pharmacist(Bob) who made up a prescription for my kitty with a taste she liked; and also recommended a natural supplement for me to take which will help in managing stress. :-)

Scriptworks Pharmacy has been a God send for me. The specialty formulas that they offer along with my physician’s prescription has been incredibly helpful. I received a cream for ankle and knee pain. Before I began use of this medicine I was having a terrible time walking. With this prescription, I am able to walk much better and more comfortably. I am not only very grateful to be able to receive and use this medicine but I am extremely pleased with how helpful the pharmacist/owner Bob, has been in his willingness to take his time explaining and helping whenever I have needed to talk to a pharmacist. Its been the best experience I have ever known in the world of medicine. I have always felt like I am being treated with personal care and respect . This is what we need more of for everyone. Jeri B. Scriptworks renews my faith in businesspeople. They are professional, concerned about their clients, and honest about their work. First, they offered a bulk price break for my cats’ prednisolone chews, and delivered overnight in the middle of xmas season! Then, because my little darlings didn’t like the chews(they explained that prednisolone is nasty tasting stuff, and that different cats prefer different chews), Scriptworks is helping me find a treat that they might accept instead. They even apologized that the first type wasn’t working! Other compounding pharm that I’d approached first couldn’t even be bothered to talk to me about my cats’ needs. This company is extraordinarily wonderful.

Scriptworks is a compounding pharmacy which my vet sent me to. They do compounding, which simply means they make up special versions of medicines, like in special flavors or in a liquid instead of a pill. Something all pharmacies used to do. Anyway, they provided medication for my cat who had this weird condition with his mouth and couldn’t chew. They made is meds in a liquid form in the«triple fish flavor» so he would take it. They were a life saver! And they deliver! For free!!! Once I forgot to call in the refill before a holiday weekend. I called on a Friday and told them if it was in any way possible could I get my prescription could they please deliver it, but if they couldn’t it was my own fault and I understood. I explained my cat would be in pain and would not be able to eat much until he got his meds. I left this whole long explanation on their answering machine and never even talked to an actual person. And they got his meds to me by the end of the day! Out of the whole long ordeal I had with my cat with various stupid vets, they were the one shining star that seemed to care. My baby is gone now but I will never forget this pharmacy for the help they gave us.
