Delicious!!! I will definitely be coming back, was extremely happy to find this hidden gem.

Decent Thai food for the area. If you’re really craving Thai you won’t be disappointed with this place. I usually get the glass noodle soup and either drunken noodles or chicken pad Thai. Not too pricey either.

We had a delicious meal at Bangkok City — everything was great. For our appetizers, hubby got spring rolls which were hot and crispy and came with a sweet dipping sauce. I had the coconut shrimp appetizer which was also delicious. The shrimp were perfectly fried and were coated in a generous amount of coconut. This came with a sweet sauce that contained peanuts. For our entrees, hubby got the Sweet & Sour Fish which was a generous serving and had a lot of fresh veggies and large wedges of pineapple. He said it was very good. I got the shrimp pad thai and it too was delicious. It had just the right balance of noodles, shrimp, peanuts and bean sprouts(some restaurants overdo it on the bean sprouts but they had just the right amount here). I also got a Thai Iced Tea which was perfect and not too sweet. Service was friendly and efficient, although they didn’t check to see how we liked the food or offer drink refills. This is a clean, modest, fairly non-descript restaurant in a strip center with about 10 tables. We had our meal on a Saturday around 3:30 and it was so peaceful and quiet in the restaurant. They had nice New Agey/Asian music playing and I felt like I could have meditated. By the time we left, around 4:45 p.m., it was getting more busy and noisy. Prices are reasonable. Appetizers were mostly in the area of $ 6 and most entrees were in the range of $ 10-$ 15. Our check, including a 20% tip, came to $ 54.00. We will definitely return again.

I went here for lunch and got the lunch combo platter. This is a casual location with about a dozen tables. The food was great(grew grop, ravioloi soup, and drunken noodles) and arrived quickly, but the service was slow.

Amazing Thai food! Must try their Green or Red curry. The green has a basil flavor to it, which I LOVE! The pad thai is okay. It’s a little on the drier side and bland for me. BUT their drunken noodles are amazing and so is the adventure friend rice. Excited to try new things because good thai food is so rare these days! Must give these guys a try!

Craving some dunken noodles, I ordered take out from Bangkok city. It was a little over priced for thai but it was decent sized portion. It was ready in a timely manner and the restaurant looked super cute. My Dunken noodles were pretty good– FULL of veggies and chicken! I thoroughly enjoyed them. They were a bit dry tho. They weren’t soaked in that sauce they’re usually in. Overall decent place. Staff is nice. I would come back. Online menu is outdated. Prices are higher when you go in.

I don’t really have experience w/Thai food(only have been to it once prior YEARS ago plus Pei Wei(does that count?!!) but loved my entrée last night here. My dish was called ‘Jungle King’ and boasted plenty of nicely cooked vegetables and shrimp & chicken plus brown rice(I behaved and didn’t get yummy unhealthy white!). The sauce was a ‘golden curry’ and I got as much of it that I possibly could with my spoon once my food was gone! I LOVED the nice flavor(kind of coconut’ty). Vince had the(full) duck over vegetables and pineapple. It was pretty good — nothing to diss the restaurant just not my choice — I don’t ‘do’ duck and the sauce was too strong for me(I’m a spice wus!) I liked the colorful décor and the wait staff was pretty good as well. I was happy w/my meal and would probably choose the same one again or something with noodles for sure!

Not being from this area I am hesitant in going up to 4 stars for this decent Thai joint. That being said I would possibly come here again unless locals could provide me with better nearby options. The interior is very clean and decorated with various trappings that are commonly found in Thai restaurants. My biggest surprise were the signs on each table that stated” tell others if you like us, tell us if you don’t”. This seemed to show a desire to satisfy the customer. Due to the late hour of our arrival and the fact that we weren’t starving, salads, apps and soups were not sampled. On a future visit these will be on our agenda. Trish did not want anything fried, and with more than half the menu featuring them had to really search for her choice. It was called Jungle King, a somewhat Masaman curry sauce with sautéed shrimp and chicken. It was also loaded with fresh veggies. I tasted the shrimp and it was good. The sauce was toned down and a bit watery for a curry, but overall a decent flavor, and one that was definitely of a Thai chef’s hand. My choice was a duck dish(Elegant duck) that was deep fried and came with a thicker peanut based sauce that had some chili oil added to provide a bit more umph. I loved the sauce and copious veggies, but the duck with bone in was a bit messy and a bit overdone. Even though I love crispy duck, if no dishes contained just the breast, I would opt for a red or green curry on my next visit. I am a huge fan of Thai food, and would go as far as to say it may be my favorite cuisine, certainly my favorite Asian one. Based on my visits to other spots in my area, this one was not quite 4 star worthy, but going in the right direction. Trish enjoyed hers so much I believe we will return. 3.5 double check your bill Unilocal

It has all the typical Thai food but it has none of the typical Thai flavor. First time here so had to go with their Pad Thai, which I figure as the first checkpoint to deciding if a Thai restaurant is worth trying again. The Pad Thai was completely bland with not a hint of Thai flavor. I understand that this area is scarce in Thai food, so there really aren’t that many other places to satisfy a craving but that is still honestly no way to make Thai food. Help yourself out and go down the road to Lai Thai, which I found to be slightly better and about a buck cheaper for their lunch special. If you truly want Thai food unfortunately you won’t find it around Voorhees.

They have a great lunch special: a small serving of an appetizer, soup, and an entrée, all for under $ 10. Everything is really tasty, their tom yum soup, fried tofu(and honey dipping sauce with peanuts!!), and pad thai are among my favorites.

Based on the reviews I thought I’d check out this restaurant. There was only one couple dining when I walked in & was quickly seated. I decided on what I wanted and waited and watched as the one employee took phone orders. Then another couple walked in — they got frustrated and decided to take their meal to go. The phone rang again with another order & I left.

Best Thai food in the area! The cheese spilling rolls are a tasty Thai version of mozzarella sticks and the pad Thai is amazing. Don’t forget the friend banana as dessert… it’s the perfect ending!

Any restaurant that uses bagged frozen peas and cubed carrots should be banished from receiving anything remotely resembling decent reviews on Unilocal or elsewhere. The food was otherwise palatable but the décor was a bit tragic and bathroom not clean. You can do way better for Thai food in South Jersey.

Basically if you’re looking for thai food in the area this is your PLACE. Since we live close to the small shopping center it’s located in we made it our goal to try all the restaurants inside. However that was made hard by just how GOOD this place is we wanted to eat here all the time. The adventure fried rice is phenomenal, as is the pad thai. I still need to try their soups and make it in time for their lunch special. They also have take out which is great for a lazy day.

Upon ordering, I have several question to ask about their authenticity and special dish they might offer to thai customers– I asked the waitress if she speaks thai, she said no. I continued to ask if I could talk to someone who can… She quickly cut me off… Gave me the biggest attitude with an unsatisfying face to go with it and said no one will talk to you and there’s no reason why I should because she can answer ALL the questions. I asked her a question, but she fail to answer. She has no energy nor customer skills and 0 benefits to this company. I suggest the management hire someone who can speak thai or at-least know about thai food and our culture.

i’ve been going here for almost 10 years. their lunch special is the best! you get an appetizer, soup, and entrée for under 10 dollars. I enjoy their giew grop and glass noodle soup with shrimp. Their pad thai is very good. I don’t know any other place that has a deal like this for the quality and quantity of food served.

The food here is great… However your coworkers will not agree when you leave the remnants in the trash can — it can really stink up the joint. Do everyone a favor and enjoy the fantastic food in the restaurant or your car or Kirkwood Park!

My favorite Thai restaurant for years! They make the best Pad Thai and their lunch specials are such great deals. I always get their shrimp pad thai but now that I tried their royal fish(tilapia) during their lunch specials, that is beginning to be my new favorite dish. I also love their Thai Iced Tea, Tom Yum, and Tom Kha. And although their appetizer platter is pretty much all fried, I still like getting it. Their Siam Rama is good here too, which is my cousin’s favorite dish.

Ate here a few weeks ago. While BC was not our intended destination, I’m really glad this is where we ended up. Next time I see a movie nearby, I am grabbing eats here first. The restaurant does not feel as tacky as the photo suggests, but BC is in fact somewhat small. The tables are situated very close together, so intimate conversations are ill-advised. There are certainly plenty of tchotchkes and things to look at on the walls and counter. My dinner date and I shared the appetizer sampler, which included 2 panic shrimp, 2 spring rolls, 2 chicken tenders on a stick, 2 cheese rolls, and 2 shrimp in blanket. The cheese rolls were, as they should be, pretty awesome. The misleading panic shrimp were not spicy at all. Onto the entrée, across the table something spicy was devoured with seeming pleasure. And my Bangkok noodles were bangin’! Pretty sure it was a special. Glass noodles, veggies, shrimp, and an awesome brown sauce… Mmmm, I freakin’ loved it. And I had so much leftover! Our nice waiter wrapped it(and half the appetizer sampler) for us, which I like at a restaurant versus plate-dumping myself. During our meal, a good number of people came in for takeout orders. There were at least five other tables occupied at one point or another. Good business and a good sign for a Monday night!

I recently returned, and I am sad to say I will never return. The food is sub-par, and the service was SOO slow. I almost got up, drove around the block, and then come back to see if anyone checked on our table. Bhan Thai is much better in Mt. Laurel. I was so disappointed in the flavors that many of the dishes were missing something. I will not return.
