Craving a California burrito. Came here because we were in the area. Burrito was completely cold and disgusting. Avoid at all costs.

I got the two enchiladas plate. I was starving. As hungry as I was, this food should have tasted like heaven but it was super bland. The rice was like white rice, no flavor or taste, and the refried beans were salty. OMG. I am never going back. They need to improve.

I will never come back here again. Just got home from trying to buy dinner with no food. I’ve been coming here for the last 15 years and for the last 10 of those years I order rolled tacos with bacon on top. Today I placed my order as usual and he said«no». I said«excuse me» and he said«we can’t put bacon on top, no». The guys they have working at night are trash and have been rude since they started working here… Today just tops things… Will absolutely never be back.

Drive thru and small parking lot outside. I came here on a Wednesday night for the drive thru. I ordered a California Burrito and Carne Asada Fries. The service was fast, quick, and easy. This is probably the only 24 hour spot for those late night drunchies. The food is average, I obviously have had better but it gets the job done so I can’t complain much. The only downside is their salsas, it was super watery and bland. I had to spike it with some Trader Joe’s Habernero sauce but even then it didn’t resurrect the salsas. Come here if you’re desperate for cheap late night Mexican food to satisfy that hunger!

This rating is based on drive thru experiences only. Now… I don’t exaggerate when I say this is the best Mexican drive thru in North County hands down. We always get an order of Carne asada fries and rolled tacos and the quality of the meat is what always stands out. It’s soooo goood, it’s always piping hot, fresh and perfectly seasoned.

Product has been lackluster recently and it seems more expensive. This time the chicken enchilada was basically inedible and rolled tacos were soggy after 5 min. Regret going here.

Always full in the drive thru but super fast! Great burritoes, chicken is one of my favorites, but by far the best is the chile relleno plate.

Delicious food here. Pollo asado burrito is perfect and rolled tacos with guacamole/sour cream/cheese is topped heavily, just the way I like it.

Fair prices. Good food. Always open. Drive thru. Just some of the positives about albertacos. I would always go there for a midnight snack before I would go home late at night sense it was one of the only places open. Carne asada fries are a must try

This used to be the spot to get quick and amazing Mexican food. This morning I ordered Breakfast Burritos for my family and 2 seconds into my first bite I found pieces of rock/asphalt in my food. Not one but a few… I am not sure how that is even possible for asphalt to get into a breakfast burrito… I will never go back again

Food is good I always get the Cali burrito and churro I will say though that the place is usually pretty dirty but that’s what I expect from a place like this

This place is legit. I have been here at least 6 times in the past few months and everytime I go I am not disappointed. The drive through is always packed so I go inside to order which I dont mind because then I can get their really hot orange salsa(might be habanero?) I have been getting their tacos lately and that is because they fry the tortilla they put the taco stuffings in! The prices are extremely reasonable compared to other Mexican joints around the area too.

This Albertacos location is better than other Albertacos locations I’ve had. They have 5 different types of hot sauces that are all flavorful and good. Prices are affordable and they accept credit card as well. I had the California Burrito and Horchata. Definitely hit the Mexican food craving I had while visiting San Diego!

Two words. Chorizo Plate. Just like Mom’s, excellent and prices are very reasonable. Open 24 hours so it’s a great place to stop by late at night when you need your Mexican food fix. I am a repeat customer.

I used to come here at least twice a week when I lived in the area and I try to come here every time I’m in the area. They have great food for fast Mexican food and the prices are good too. The only thing is that the drive thru line takes so long. They need an area for people to pull off to the side if they have a big order.

Albertacos dishes out above average Mexican cuisine. It is part of a small strip mall. The menu is huge and the prices are medium. They have those juice drinks that can typically be found at such Latin restaurants. Their seating is quite plentiful. I walked in after having gone several times before. My order was for a fish taco. It was ready in about three minutes. The taco had an excellent fried fish and the toppings were good. It was a bit more expensive than at other nearby places, at $ 2.85 and a bigger contrast between hot fish and colder sauce would have enhanced it more. Don’t hesitate to try Albertaco’s.

This is the place that puts the name on taco shops. IN the north county area this is the longest running, best quality, consistent taco shop I know! This place has been here since the long ago drunken days of after and houseparties, then the more refined thirties age came and I found myself still there after local breweries and night time trivias. Tonight? not drunk at all, just had a late night craving after skipping dinner due to a hectic day. I would call this my comfort food. When I need it whether its a breakfast burrito in the morning, or rolled tacos or carne asada at the wee hours of the morning, I know they are open, and they will not disappoint!

This establishment has me torn. I dislike the location and how you can access it as well as the interior. If cleanliness is next to godliness then this place might be in trouble. That being said I’ve tried only one item, the carne asada burrito which is my gauge for all Mexican food places and it was among the best around. They seem to mix their salsa fresca and guacamole before putting it in the burrito and their carne asada was juicy and flavorful. Winner!

I’m not sure what happened but this Albertacos has earned the #1 spot back in my heart. In the past, I had a few problems with my order constantly being wrong which sucks because 9 times out of 10 I’m ordering drive thru so I wouldn’t notice until I’m home. Over the past few months, I’ve noticed completely different staff, honestly it made me sad at first because I’ve been going here since I started high school and it was always the same guys working every night and day so of course my mind wanders to «well where did they go?» BUT I’ve accepted it because the new staff(maybe even management/owners?) are doing a wonderful job. I haven’t had one disappointment since I’ve noticed the turnover & I’m just so happy to let albertacos back into my life. The line is still ALWAYS long but more than likely you’ll be a satisfied customer! Oh and I love that they have a self-serve salsa bar now like the San Marcos one has, I feel less judged when I’m able to get my own 5 containers of hot sauce instead of having to bashfully ask for them.
