Our company often orders lunches and breakfast for meetings. Our orders are always delivered on time. Heather, who does the catering, provides excellent service. She goes above and beyond to make sure that our order is satisfactory. I feel confident when I order from this location because Heather is in charge of the catering and delivers the food herself. She goes over the order with me to make sure that everything meets our expectations. Panera’s menu offers a delightful selection. The presentation is accentuated by Heather’s customer service skills and very pleasent personality. Lastly, Panera offers affordable options when feeding a group of any size. That is always a plus when the menu offers a variety. Regardless of what we order there will be something to please every palate, I will continue to use Panera because it makes food one less thing to worry about when you are preparing for a meeting.

This location sucked. Not because it was super packed with about 20 high school-ers all gathering up change to buy $ 2 pastries but because the service/presentation was sloppy. I paid over $ 13 for half of a turkey/kale sandwhich that was missing pieces of bread on one side and was sloppily thrown together. My second choice of the«pick 2» was the French onion soup which looked absolutely NOTHING like the picture and was definitely lacking. Back in the day, Panera’s food used to be delicious and was my college networks’ ultimate study spot. But every time I go now, everything is overpriced and bland. I’m definitely going to start spending my money elsewhere.

The food is always amazing and service is great but today I witnessed customer service greatness!!! A table beside me apparently had to wait a really long time for their food and the staff took total responsibility for it. The manager comped the meal and the family seemed to have a great meal! No yelling. No fighting. Just got olé fashion customer service!!!

Came here on a cold morning and wanted the broccoli cheddar soup. It was bomb diggity like always. I ordered my soup with chips but wasn’t feeling it anymore so I went back in replace for a baguette. I didn’t mind paying extra for it but the dude working just let me have it for free. Shout outs to that guy. My homie got the oatmeal with strawberries(forgot what it was called) and that was bomb too. Good location. Keepin it real to all the panera lovers that haven’t been to this spot.

I absolutely LOVE Panera’s new app and rapid check out line! You can use it to order ahead, pay, and pick up without waiting in line! You can also further customize your order without confusing a cashier or feel like you’re being judged when you’re adding extra chicken to your already meaty Caesar Salad ;) All of the options are in front of you as well, with little photos, and all the prices. I use it to get lunch, or even a bakers dozen of bagels on Tuesdays, so all I have to do is look on the shelf and find that glorious bag with my name on it.

I’ve been to this location a couple of times. The service is fast and they have always gotten my order correct. The food is great. It’s a little busy at times though so there are no tables to sit at inside. They do have a nice outside sitting area to make up for that at least.

I love the food here and so does my 9 year old son, this place only gets 1 star because I went in to purchase a gift card and a pecan twist and the cashier swiped my card and it said approved and she swiped it again and again which causes my card to be charged twice, I checked my bank account and noticed I was charged twice and called management and they really didn’t seem to apologetic at all and only informed me to come back Monday(this happened Thursday) I didn’t make them wait to pay for my items so why do I have to wait for my money back when it was a mistake on their end. They didn’t even offer a free courtesy cup of water lol. I spend a lot of money here but will not be returning

I have been to this location multiple times before and I have yet to be let down by them. Had a couple of close calls with them wanting to put regular yogurt in my Superfruit Smoothie(it takes Greek-and I ask for extra)-but their food orders are always on point-especially when I throw them curveballs. The facilities are always clean-even during rush hour. The only thing I would suggest is maybe making the entrance way a little wider-it seems like you are packing hens in the chicken wire during rush hours. The order takers are always cordial-even though I tend to opt for the online ordering with the app now. The managers in the back pretty much force the orders to be correct-meaning the staff is effective in their training. I ordered the Chicken Caesar with a Sprouted Grain Roll-got the dressing and cheese on the side-and ordered through the app. I was not expecting g the order to be correct, especially since I added a ton of veggies and stuff. I was very pleasantly surprised at the perfect accuracy of my order. I will definitely be back to this location-and I am confident my orders will be how I want them. Worth the $ 7 for a salad.

This Panera Bread gets three stars based on it’s location. Although it’s right by Virginia Beach’s Town Center, it is also located walking distance to a high school. Therefore, I don’t recommend coming around after-school hours. After two o’clock, the place is packed with high school-aged students, and it does get a bit noisy.

Although this location has a constant flow of lunchtime traffic due to the location, they are super fast and efficient with getting orders out! The fast lane kiosk is awesome and allows you to customize your order. I am not a completely a proponent of replacing people with computers, but I do think it provides a good option for those just trying to get a quick lunch. I love that Panera is always fresh and has plentiful healthy options. It’s definitely a go to for my workday lunch!

Hard to not like Panera. Easy corner access location, with enough nearby parking. Like most locations they now have the installed Kiosks to make your order«Faster». Personally, I think there are way too many menu options and the system for selecting things is complex. There’s also no way to say, «I want X for here, and Y to go.» So I’ve been bypassing them. What IS nice is it saves previous orders, so if you’re a creature of habit, spend some time putting in your most favorite complex order, and it’ll be there next time. Service is always expedient and courteous, the facility is kept clean, I’ve never gone into the dining area and saw a dirty table(which is saying something). It’s one of the two best fast-food chains out there, hard to go wrong with Panera.

I’ve never tried it before since it looked too fancy and expensive for me. I had he strawberry salad, which was gross with the dressing it came with. The pineapples took away from the salad feel. It was way too many fruits in it. My bbq chicken flat bread was the bomb. It was so good. I should have picked those two instead of the salad. The extra bread roll was a bit too much bread. Not a good place to eat if you’re on a diet. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re counting calories.

Great Food, Deceiving Menu Pricing Today was my second and last time eating at Panera’s. Oh, don’t get me wrong, the food was good. Not great, but good. What has turned me against Panera’s is the deceptive menu pricing. When you look at the Menu Boards(see photo) there is a «PICK2» on there, which states«Combine Two Items» and the pricing is $ 4.59÷4.99÷7.99, depending on the size. Great, a lot of food for just a little money. Nope. By the time we had ordered two items and a drink, the bill came to $ 23.35. I asked a manager over to our table when I realized I had been taken. She apologized, stating that lots of people are decieved by the board; that it is a reduced price per item. Now, how in the hell is $ 5 for a ½ cup of mac & cheese a reduced price? Attached is a copy of the receipt. Understand, I am a capitalist; I believe in making money. However, in all my years of being either IN business for working for others, I have never intentionally deceived a customer. Panera’s seems to have made it a skill. Our meal total should have been about $ 14 plus tax — I can not believe they are allowed to do business this way. It is wrong, it is deceptive — bordering on fraud and theft. While the food was good, I had better mac and cheese at Golden Corral; for far less money. My steak and Cheese Pannini was so thin on meat that I had to open it up to see if there actually was meat in the sandwich — my first two bites yielded nothing but bread and melted cheese. After we had eaten, my wife needed the powder room, and I was clearing off our table; the manager, in her zeal to open up another table, took our not-yet empty drinks, receipt, etc and trashed them. I thanked her for tossing our unfinished drinks and our receipt; she retrieved the receipt from the trash can(yuk!) and made a copy of it over top the broth bowel prep chart,(talk about handing out company secrets!) and offered us two more cups; we passed, and told her we would not be back. Exactly why is everyone fawning over this place? Do you have enough money to throw it away for the same stuff you can get cheaper elsewhere? And to be deceived on top of that? This(former) customer wants no part of it.

All though the line was long, it went pretty quick. The staff was courteous the place was clean and the coffee(dark roast) and bread(french baguette) was good. Surrounded by a lot of things to do(Michael’s, Bed Bath and Beyond, Movie theater, Kohl’s) all within walking distance.

A good little place for a sandwich and cup of soup. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. You can order ahead and your order will be ready if you’re in a hurry. I had the all-American Classic of grilled cheese and tomato soup. It was definitely on the gourmet side with fontina cheese and homemade tomato soup. This one of my favorite comfort food dinners and they did it right. My friend had the ham and swiss on wheat with a bowl of Spanish stew. The bread was fresh and soft and the stew was pretty good. It did need a little Tabasco to spice it up but the meal combo was good. Overall this is a good little chain that does a good job. I especially appreciate the fact they bake on site. It not a place I would long for but I would find an excuse to not come here.

I am not really crazy about this place. However, as a chain, the food is very decent and average. The selection of sandwiches, salad and soups are quite delightful. Food presentation and portion are equivalent to the price. The pick 2 combo(sandwich /salad /soup /stew /flat bread /apple) is a saver. I must say that I am looking forward to try the sweet delicacies they offer. In my recent visit, I had the pick 2 combo consisting of a smoked ham and swiss sandwich and Spanish Chicken stew. Thought it was fine and just right for dinner. Service is spectacular, food comes out fast. Would love to see healthy options be better shown on the menu. Yes, I would love to come back.

I would consider my wife to be the big fan of Panera Bread, but me not so much. However, I almost always enjoy them when ever I get a chance. The location for the Town Center Panera has exploded since opening in 2007-08. This is the store I most frequent and it’s a good one. On a recent visit I ordered up a Spinach and Artichoke Souffl’e really yummy. I also got a Strawberry Granola Parfait. The dining room was clean and I saw staff constantly around the dining room clearing and cleaning tables. The case appeared full and employees I ran across friendly. I kind of have issue with pricing, it’s not cheap to get these tasty treats, but I am first to admit the quality always seems on par with price. The outdoor seating if you can get it is sweet too, only around four tables usually full on nice day. There are walls that help shield you from the road which is right beside you… it an illusion, but hey it works. Maybe I need to get Panera in a more regular rotation like friend Lance F., now he is what I would consider a SUPER fan of the chain.

I get the Thai Chicken Salad. Pros: the sauce is the perfect amount of spice, and the seared soy beans. Cons: the lettuce is blah romain(spinach and other blends with romain would be better), very few red peppers. This salad is my go to item, but it has a lot of calories. You can cut down the calories by removing the crunchy wonton and skipping the baguette. Although the order taking is handled well, you might not see those instructions followed. I ordered no wonton strips and I got tons of wonton strips.

The summer shrimp salad sandwich was DELICIOUS! I posted a picture. You gotta try it on a «treat» day if you’re a clean eater like me. You won’t even feel guilty after. Love this location — always has friendly staff, friendly folks. Clean, helpful and delicious food. I’ve gone here for 7 years — gotten breakfast for the office, given gift cards — I heart Panera!
