Sergio’s Salon

In the last 20 years I have had my hair cut by the owners of the salon. Mostly because they were my friends. I assumed I was getting the best haircut or color I could get… it’s the owners after all so that was my expectation. I had always been «meh, looks alright» but due to a recent change I had to go to a new salon and Sergio’s was recommended to me. I always admired a couple of friends who cuts and color were done by Sergio so took a chance. I am SO glad I did. I never knew I could have a style like this EVER! I have never loved my cuts in the past and just thought that maybe I was expecting too much… I really didn’t expect more from Sergio but when you go to someone who’s REALLY had training, keeps up on his training and really takes the time to explain what would and wouldn’t work for you then you’ve found THE ONE! I trusted him to do what he wanted and have the best haircut I’ve EVER had. My next appointment will include coloring… I cannot wait! Oh, and my son (13) got his hair done the same day and said he also loved his hair as much as I loved mine… now my daughter goes to Sergio as well as my husband. I’m never going anywhere else ever again. Highly, highly recommended… there’s NO better stylist in 100 square miles… speaking from personal experience ;)

Sergio’s Salon is the best for many reasons. He is a very nice and welcoming person with great people skills. He has been coloring my hair for over 10 years now and I love his work. I always get compliments on my hair. He does an amazing job and I highly recommend him to anyone.

What a great place! A very warm and attractive salon. I used to go to a barber and cut my hair every 3 weeks because as it grew out, it looked horrible. The first time Sergio cut my hair, I went nearly two months without a cut. It grew out very nicely and I could still style it and it looked good. I pay less going to Sergio once every two months than what I was paying before going to a barber nearly twice a month. A very nice guy and he knows his stuff. If I ever start coloring my hair, this is where I’ll come. I’ve seen his work on other dudes while I waited, and the look was natural. A talented and skilled professional.

There is no one better than Sergio! I am always hesitant to make big changes with my hair, but I trusted Sergio to do my first color and can’t imagine seeing anyone else. He will sit and talk with you about your haircare routine, styling preferences, and maintenance which is so important to me. I don’t want a cut I won’t be able to style myself or a color I’d have to touch up every few weeks. He takes all your preferences into account, plus makes amazing recommendation and explains them! He just puts so much care into his work and that’s why he never disappoints. If you want color that lasts, and cuts that’ll turn heads, then Sergio is your guy!

Sergio’s been doing my hair for over 10 years now. He’s the only one I would trust with my hair. I have very thick hair and he knows exactly how to manage my mane. During my last visit, I decided to add red highlights and they came out perfectly. He is amazing with color. He’s friendly and so is the staff. They always make me feel comfortable. I’m looking forward to my next visit for the touch up.

I have seen Rachael for years and can’t recommend anyone more highly. I have worked in salons for many years and appreciate Rachael’s attention to detail, she is a perfectionist. She now does many of my friends hair as well and although I live in San Francisco now I try to come down to see her as often as possible. She gets to know you and your hair and is extremely reliable, affordable and fun to be around. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Sergio was recommended to me by an esthetician several years ago. She said «he does amazing things with color».
I have very fine blonde hair, and am very picky with my color. So I had to go see for myself.
Sergio did not disappoint. After a caring consultation, Sergio delivered exactly what I asked for, and continues to do so.
After several years of seeing Sergio, I remain a happy customer.
His shop is charming, located downtown atop a Victorian building.

I love Sergio’s hair studio. Sergio does a great job on my hair and always gives me advise on how to style after I get home with my own products, etc. Danette, his assistant, gave a great hairwash and fantastic neck rub, which was so nice! Sergio is great at hair, but also great with people. We have great talks, he’s a person of value and care and I am very appreciative of his gifts. highly recommend!

I’ve been coming to Sergio’s salon for about 7 years. I always leave his salon more than satisfied. Sergio is a great hair stylist. He always gives me advice on what styles suit me best. The rest of the staff is friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend this salon!

Rachel has been doing my hair for about 8 years now and she is the best hairdresser I have ever had. She is a perfectionist and will not let you leave the salon unless your hair is perfect. She cuts my hair in the cutest stacked bob, and does an amazing coloring. If you try Rachel once, you will go back for good.

I went here on Friday for a manicure and pedicure with Shellie Griffith. What a wonderful expierence. Shellie has a private, comfortable room in the lovely salon. Very relaxing and calming. My manicure and pedicure is about the best I have ever gotten. Shellie is not only skillful, but so friendly and king. I can’t recommend her enough!!!

rachael is amazing — both for hair and spray tan! she is an absolute perfectionist and super sweet and easy to work with. i love her so much and will not go to anyone else. spray tan was flawless!!!

I saw a thing on Groupon for 3 spray tans with Rachael for only $ 55 — what a steal! Although I’d never been there before, nor have I ever heard of it, I decided to try it. Today I went there for my first spray tan, and I am so pleased. Rachael was very nice, quick, and professional. I can’t believe there is only one Unilocal review. I am definitely going to be going there more often. Great find!

Rachael rocks. She cut my hair for about 6 years, and in that time she picked up most of my friends as clients because she’s just that great. She seems to understand everyone’s hair so cuts always seem to «work» with the people. She’s sweet to talk to. I’ve left Ventura and will be going to my 3^rd stylist in my new town tomorrow, because nobody can compare to Rachael! I can’t find anyone who can do a good job with my short hair like her. She won’t disappoint.
