My entire experience at Maximillian hair artistry was really good. I wanted blonde highlights and I got exactly what I wanted. I would recommend anyone to go here for that. If I had the choice I will go there again and I’ve shared this with my friends and everyone I know. I have only good things to say about this salon.

My 17 year old daughter went in to have her hair done here. She had sent me several pictures of what she was going for and I approved beforehand. She claimed a PROFESSIONAL was going to be doing it. Boy was she wrong! I was stunned when she came home with hair that looked NOTHING like she what she had asked for! It looked YELLOW and burned! It was terrible! I literally looked like scarecrow hair. I felt so bad for her! So upsetting that any so-​called «hairdresser» would actually let someone walk out like that. I will definitely be posting a picture and will tell everyone I know what a horrible job this lady does. I wish I could give it zero stars but one is the lowest. A blind person could have done better.

I have been going to Rosie for over 10 years. At one point I lived in Santa Barbara and I currently live in San Diego and still make the long drive just so she can do my cut, color and wax. Because of the distance, I have tried other stylists but i have never been satisfied and I ALWAYS go back to her. Her salon is always clean and very relaxing. Not only is she a FANTASTIC hair stylist but after knowing her for so many years, I consider her a great friend.

I’ve been going to Rosie for over 10years & wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair! I love changing my hair color I’ve been blonde, brunette, dark brown, & even PINK! Not once has my hair looked damaged. She knows what she is doing with color!
Anytime I get compliments I recommend my girlfriends to go to her.

The best experience that I have had at a hair salon. I was warmly welcomed and treated like I was an old friend. I had a thermal reconditioning treatment and Rosie explained every step thoroughly and kindly. She answered all my weird questions and was very patient. She even offered to do the 4 hour process the same day. She did not rush any part of the treatment and was meticulous with her work. She cares about her craft and her clients. I highly recommend this salon.

I have been going to Rosie for 18 years, I have long curly red hair and she knows exactly what to do with my hair. I have always strayed but I always come back. I hate to sit in the chair for hours but she keeps me entertained. She is excellent with doing the color red and every time I leave the salon I feel beautiful. :)

I’ve been going to see Rosie at Maximillian’s for over 16 years. She gives a GREAT haircut and is AWESOME with hair color. I even carry her business cards in my wallet because I am asked consistently who does my hair. Rosie is also very accommodating when scheduling an appointment.

Rosie is the BEST! I go there to get my hair cut, colored, my skin waxed and get dermabrasion facials. I’ve gone from dark to light back to dark and I am so happy to say that my hair remains beautiful and above all healthy. Rosie has managed to take care of the health of my hair throughout these harsh treatments.
The salon atmosphere feels very VIP. In the sense that when your there you have personal & exclusive attention. It’s not a super busy place with lots of noise and gossip around you. You can relax and get pampered. I will not go anywhere else and I constantly get compliments on my hair.

Without a doubt this was the BEST microdermabrasion, facial and face massage treatment ever. Very through even got my arms and neck and shoulder massaged. Will be recommending to my clients. Thanks went home very relaxed.
