I may have come here ten times in twenty years. It another one if those rare family joints that never changes. If you want a big breakfast, this is the place. You will never leave hungry. The service varies a lot as the employ older ladies, some clearly never had to sling dishes before, so think about that before you cut them down. It’s a local breakfast place and nothing more. You can find a cheaper plate or(styrofoam box) of eggs and bacon at McDonalds. The coffee is drinkable, but no Starbucks or Peet’s. Toast and hash browns all taste the same to me and I don’t eat either as you wear those on your waistline. Hungry for breakfast? Within three miles? Is it before like 1:30? OK, go here, you will be stuffed.

Had breakfast at Fatty Patty’s today. Will never go back. About 40 minutes to get my food and the place was near empty. After I got my food others that came in got their food in 5 – 10 minutes. Someone screwed up and I never even got a I’m sorry. Should have got up and left.

This place was very good they were busy with their big crowds but I understand, it was nice checking out all the pigs in there while I waited. I got the taco omelet with the pancakes I ate all of it cause it was that good especially with the avocado that came with it. Awesome! I will come here.

This place had been around forever! Hazel Dell has not changed much in the past 40 years in this area of the drag. Fatty Patty’s is still going strong. An old diner still serving up huge portions to live up to its name. Good breakfast food, that’s why we go. Good prices on their food too. They have got it all and ate happy to accommodate if needed. The staff is always happy and helpful.

This place is neat. The food is good diner breakfast, the staff is great, and the place is very very clean, which is awesome. Overall, a positive experience, will be fine returning to try their signature«slop» plate. Great location and a lot of parking. Local as local gets.

Came here for a diner style breakfast. Got what I expected. Great big servings and traditional, delicious food! I ordered what I always do in the mornings, an eggs Benedict with hollandaise sauce. Naturally, I also ordered hashbrowns and slipped in a fruit cup as a side. I couldn’t tell you what my dad or son got, but it didn’t take long for us to devour our greasy plates dry. I wouldn’t protest to coming here again to enjoy another delightfully fat meal, but I do hope the opportunity doesn’t present itself in the very near future. For my scales sake.

It was okay, however we went around 9:30 am on a Sunday and had to wait about 45 minutes for our food. There was a lot of people walking in the door and therefore it is a popular place. As for the food… Benny’s(eggs benedict) wasn’t prepared well at all and the corned beef hash was from the can. It wasn’t even fried crispy. I was disappointed due to having high reviews from friends. Maybe the omelets are a better choice here, but unfortunately I will not be returning here. :(

Great food and friendly service and they keep the coffee coming without having to ask. Be aware though that if you come in for a late breakfast the food delivery can be a little delayed but the ladies keep your cups full of hot coffee with a smile. PS — the Mini biscuits & gravy are delicious.

Servers are friendly. Portions are huge! No wonder they call it «Fatty» Patty’s. A lot of people order the slop.

if you are really hungry and you want traditional food. this is a safe bet. I gave it four stars for being clean and consistent. nothing I’ve had in my three visits here was dazzling, it doesn’t need to be. it’s the basics with bigger than usual portions. you can easily share one meal with two people. the wait staff are on their game they know the menu well.refreshing. if you don’t care for preppy plates and gourmet appetizers offered by fast talking college kids. find the nearest fatty pattys and dive in to some solid grub. the décor is busy but cute.

Portions were small, especially for the pricing. we didnt have any left overs. staff was friendly, constantly filled our coffee. it definitely had the older crowds on there. almost felt uncomfortable we were the only younger ppl there. they definitely had regulars when we went in, a lot of the staff knew ppl by first names. i liked all the decorations and pig theme. but the prices really got me. i wont be going back.

This is exactly what you think of a small town diner. Tasty food cooked in butter. The hot chocolate is amazing. Order it.

I came by myself and waited quite some time to be seated or even addressed. Not sure if they thought I was waiting for others to show up yet that still doesn’t excuse the extended wait to be acknowledged. Waitress quickly got me coffee and then came for my order in a timely manner. I had another long wait for my food yet had constant coffee warm ups. As I waited, I watched others that came in be addressed promptly for seating. I also had a couple that came in after me receive their food first. Was about to get upset and then my food appeared. The French toast was good, the rest was standard. Be ready to wait: to be seated, for your food and to pay. Would recommend for groups after a night of having too much fun as their menu has group platters of perfect hangover food to share. Not ideal if you’re in a hurry. Great if you need a constant infusion of caffeine.

I grew up eating at fatty patty’s. The prices are more than reasonable for the ungodly amount of food you get. All of the burgers are fantastic. I highly recommend the roadhog, the jimmy swine burger, and the slop.

Pretty good food and the waitress was very attentive. Relaxing clean restaurant. Decent price for the large amount of food. Bring your appetite!

If and when you come here bring your appetite, your neighbors appetite, everybody’s appetite you went to school with. To say that the portions are anything less than huge would be like stating Packy’s dumps are petite. The food was dumpy, divey, good breakfast and lunch diner type stuff. They also admit on the menu that some of their items are for multiple people to share. Will admit I’m not a fan of their biscuits(a bit dense for my liking), but everything else was great. Staff is friendly, polite and efficient. Definitely will come here again, with more people to help eat!

On our way to Portland we stopped by Fatty Patty’s to get breakfast. Everyone was friendly but the food wasn’t all that great. My husband said the french toast was good but that’s about it. I ordered corned beef hash – it was pretty much hashbrowns with grounded meat. No flavor what-so-ever. The hashbrowns weren’t crunch at all. We wasted a lot of the food and came out unsatisfied.
