My favorite breakfast place every! I have a ton of food allergies and the ladies are so willing to look to make sure what I want to eat is something that I CAN eat. They are fast, friendly and well priced. I certainly love their point program. Never get rid of the sweet potato pancakes… they are divine!

I had a veggie omelet. The vegetables were overcooked, the potatoes were great, but the service was occasional. The coffee was strong and bitter. The young servers were very attentive, I observed, but I had a different server. At first the service was prompt but then I think I was forgotten. Even though the restaurant was not busy when I was there, I waited a long time without service. There’s more to service than taking an order, dropping off the meal, checking once if everything is okay and then taking off. I got up and went to the cash register to check myself out. There is better food in Portland, I’m sad to say.

Great food and service. Quality and delicious. I had the fajitas omelet, and it was excellent. The staff kept my coffee cup full and hot. They were always smiling.

Excellent lunch! Not only was the food extremely tasty and lovely to look at but the service made it even better. Our waitress happily substituted pancakes for my husband instead of potatoes and fruit for me instead of bread. Didn’t even hesitate. That really made our meal perfect. We had the bacon Benedict and the fiesta chicken salad. Both winners! We’ll be back for sure!

These guys have a couple of locations, and they’re firing out huge amounts of basic breakfast and lunch grub very efficiently. They definitely get slammed – for brunch on the weekends, you’re almost guaranteed to wait at least a few minutes for a table. The prices make it easy to see why. They’re more than generous with what they deliver for the price. This is 3.5 stars, rounded up. It’s in a strip mall near a freeway, with two long walls of floor to ceiling windows. It’s once big dining room, cut into smaller spaces by dividers. They do a great job of controlling the noise here for how crowded it gets – the decorations are totally generic, but they’ve made sure you’re comfortable. You see all sorts of folks here; multi-generational families, people solo with a book, groups of friends of all ages. Seems like everybody comes in here. 4 of us came in for brunch and lunch. We had a heart-healthy choice, a salad and sandwich, French toast, and an omelette. Everybody was happy. They make a couple of salad dressings in house, which is cool. The French toast was mammoth. My cousin ate off that plate for 20 minutes and it still looked like more food than any one person needed after all that work – bread, syrup, whipped cream, just piles of ingredients. The sausages, eggs, potatoes, and biscuits around the table were all solid, but none of it was fresh from farm to table or anything, but it’s well-executed stuff. The potatoes showed great flavor and the biscuits were probably scratch-made, and the vegetables in the eggs tasted fresh. These guys are an old reliable neighborhood gathering point where locals probably run into familiar faces from time to time. They really thrive. If you’re looking for the most adventurous cooking in town, it probably is not here, but you’ll have a great experience and get great value.

First time here. It’s clean and our waitress is very nice We placed our order and now have been waiting 30 minutes for our food. When we got our food. It was dissapointing. The bacon was very cold and way salty. The eggs were kind of greasy. Hash browns were okay although lacked proper seasoning. The biscuits were very baking soda tasting. The gravy was dissapointing as well. All in all we won’t be back here. There a better places for breakfast than here. Within a few miles. I guess if you’re into salty bland food this is the place for you. But if you like food and enjoy a good breakfast don’t go here.

It’s OK if you just want a really basic breakfast. The standbys such as bacon, eggs, toast, hash browns are pretty good. Pancakes and waffles are OK. I would say that service is below average. If you live in the Salmon Creek area and want breakfast, there are limited options. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here.

For a place that isn’t in Portland, but instead very close, I have to give this breakfast spot five stars for both the food and the service! The restaurant was jam packed, with a waiting list of about 15 people, but our table of 4 happened to be seated within 10 minutes. Plus there was ample parking in the lot. The food was great, and I ended up ordering the biscuits and gravy with a side of hash browns, and the coffee was nonstop. The biscuits and gravy were delicious, and flavorful. No problem whatsoever, and I would definitely eat from this restaurant again when I’m in the area. My friends ended up with the corned beef hash Benedict, French toast, and the fajita omelette. All of our meals were large portions, so you don’t have to worry about not getting your fill. I ate around brunch and didn’t have to eat until after dinner!

I went there on a Saturday morning and there was about 10 people in front of us. Surprisingly, we were able to get a table within 10mins. The waitstaff was very attentive and refilled our drinks without being asked. The portions are huge, so come hungry. They had their new fall menu so I decided to give that a try. I got a pumpkin spice cappuccino, which I thought was a good balance, not too sweet or too pumpkin-y, and the corn beef benedict. The hollandaise on the benedict was perfect. They also had come cute mugs for sale that I just had to get.

I enjoy this place. The food is always good, the waitstaff is friendly and it’s really close to us. The freezer jam is the best I’ve had since my grandma’s. It is noisy(but I have kids, so that is a good thing for us), and it is a little pricey for breakfast… but hey, it’s a meal I don’t have to cook, so I’m okay with that too.

Sign said to wait to be seated. We waited for five minutes. In those five minutes 3 waitresses walked by without acknowledging and one looked at us and ignored us. We decided since they clearly have no customer service skills, we left. If we were secret shoppers they would fail…

Folks. had my monthly hankering for a good American breakfast… A month of running, gym workouts… avocados and smoothies… come on, my body wants some heartwarming grub, man! Enuff of the guilt… Anyhoo. went to Kitchen Table Café at Salmon creek. Super friendly staff… ordered a chikin fried steak, biskits, gravy, 2 eggs medium, and red potaters… my o my i had to take a picture of the beautiful platter when it arrived… Folks, do yourself a favor and visit this place… and hear me… always tell the attendant to go «low salt» on your order — not only here, but any restaurant… You see, this is a little known secret. Cooks tend to salt and season their stuff a bit on the generous side…(lots of the stuff is already prepared/marinated etc so the low salt request may not matter that much, but if there is further salt to be added during the preparation of the order, at least your request will stop that…).so always ask for low salt… hey if it is too bland, you can always use the shakers on the table Anyhoo…the senior folks next to my table thought I had just returned from a famine area when they saw me attack my plate… and I shamelessly made loud sounds smack smack smack chomp chomp as I devoured this delicousness… Visit this place, folks…

You know when you are on the road you just want to grab a quick bite and be on the way. This was just one of those places that served a decent meal at a decent price. Had a BLTA on sourdough bread my son had a breakfast burger(burger with egg& bacon). Quick easy and decent. Definitely not gourmet. More like home cooking. Now back on the road to Renton WA

My boyfriend and I eat here at least twice a month and have NEVER once been disappointed. Even after they changed their name from Biscuits. Food is delicious, the service is great and we always walk out feeling full and satisfied. Just typing this review is making me hungry. I wish they were open right now because I would most likely drive over for a veggie omelet.

Good was never the same after they changed name from biscuits. Servers are excellent. Front hostesses on Saturday are rude.

Kitchen Table was a very hard choice between 3 and 4 stars. If I could have done 3 ½ I would. The service was great and the atmosphere and food was average. It by no means is a bad restaurant, just the food is quite dry and eh. Biscuits Café is a much better alternative in my opinion, but if in the area I would definitely stop here for a quick breakfast. Service was amazingly amazing though, and deserves significant recognition. So in short, Iz otay.

Tried this place last Sunday. For the FOOD ill give it a 4 Star rating because it was good stuff and great portions with a fair price. But the service wasn’t that great that time. I do understand that weekends and especially Sunday’s are always very busy for restaurants. But being someone who has restaurant work experience, I know what kind of service we should receive. My biggest issue was that when asking for a refril of water, I felt that we were«bothering» some waitresses. The atmosphere was really loud but that’s okay, it wasn’t a bad experience but it could’ve been better. At least the food was delicious !!!

Typical diner style food. My daughter likes the pancakes. They don’t complain about my strange orders, either(multiple food allergies… It can get complicated). Service has always been friendly, and prices aren’t too out of line.

Kitchen Table Café is about as average as average gets. A simple Stack of Pancakes came with three Buttermilk Pancakes. They were an unremarkable a-ok stack of pancakes … not nearly as good as you can make at home, but, ok, since I wasn’t home and really was in the mood for pancakes.(3 stars) Olivia’s Belgian Waffle Combo featured an overcooked Waffle with two Eggs(Over Medium) and a slice of Ham. The Eggs were the best part of this breakfast combo. I doubt I’d recommend it to others unless a waffle is all you are craving(2 stars). Service was surprisingly off. It’s not a very large restaurant, but it seemed the server took a long time to mosey over for taking our order or bring food. We never once got a coffee refill despite an empty cup. It was lunch time. I wanted pancakes. Kitchen Table Café served average pancakes. It is what is it is … average.
