We had a full day and didnt wanna cook or fight crowds so we decided to order pizza and wings. I phoned in the order and was told there would be a 45 min to a hour long delivery time. No problem, we know how delivery works. Our 3 pizzas and 24 wings arrived at about the hour mark… the delivery guy was kind and respectful. He got a good tip… lol. The pizzas were hot and the wings fresh and warm. No problems with temp. There was a lack of toppings we all joked about but the pizza tasted good after a busy day. The wings were great, meaty and full of flavor. Not the best pizza I have had by far not the worst. In a on vacation wanna stay in and order out… it was ok. Was it worth the $ 80 plus tip… NO. I dont think it was… frozen pizza and wings might have been just as good if not better, definitely cheaper. But it is what it is on vacation… next time we will do frozen and eat about the same time frame.

Everything costs something including water. You get your own drinks. Besides that, the breadsticks, cheese sticks and pizza is awesome!

The proprietary recipe for the crust is what this pizza is all about. We just got the cheese pizza and were blown away at how tasty the crust was. Totally recommend this for a meal choice on Tybee Island.

Lighthouse is a stopgap option when needed, but look around for options if you need something other than a quick bite for the kids. My son’s stromboli was decent in both quality and price. My bbq sandwich was ok. The included chips were just a bag of Lays. Fine, but was expecting something marginally different, or at least poured onto the plate. My wife found her Philly steak tasteless. When she provided this feedback at checkout when asked, there was no reaction or apology from staff.(It wasn’t about the money.) And like others have said, having no tap water is annoying. I’m sure this place will survive from one-and-done tourists, but not the best option on the street.

This was the worst pie ever. I can get better frozen or at the 7 eleven. Barely any toppings, showed up looking like it went through the spin cycle and undercooked severely. I’ve never seen so much flour on top of a pie, stay away!

Food alright, very poor service though. My friend ordered a calzone and said she didn’t want any toppings and the guy said they were free and asked if she wanted extra cheese and she said sure. Come to find out the extra cheese was two extra dollars and the rude girl at the counter said«well if you look at the menu it’s right here…» Well your server implied it was free so she shouldn’t be charged for it. And the cheapos can’t even give out cups of water… you have to buy a small $ 2 bottle, that’s bull. The place is dirty, has ridiculous up charges and horrible servers. Won’t be returning.

No complaints about food, service, or prices. But they won’t give me a cup of water so that I’ll have to buy a bottle? Well I didn’t buy one, ate pizza without a drink, will not be back.

XL Cheese for takeout. Very disappointed. Tasted ok, but the crust was too thin and very little cheese topping. 16″ pizza but the toppings only covered 12″. Price was way too high for what you get. Maybe because it’s a tourist trap. Would expect to pay about $ 9 for a pizza like this but they charged about double. Am heading to the local grocer for a frozen pizza as my kids expected a pizza dinner(so far, they only got a pizza snack). ;-)

We had a large all meat delivered. The pizza was great. Delivery time was longer than stated but the taste of the pizza made up for that. Definitely recommend

We hit Lighthouse just before closing and ordered 2 large pizzas for takeaway. Holy. Smokes. They were delicious. Good pizza is a lovely thing. Great pizza? A blessing from up above. This was great pizza. The crust was thin and the good side of chewy. The toppings were lovely. The cheese generous. But the sauce? Oh, it was delightfully kicky! It pulled everything together for a perfect pizza experience. Going back. PS – lighthouse has some fab beers on tap.

Got a free coupon in the mail I was like total awesomeness and then I got here and the place is dirty, smells nasty, and the seats are uncomfortable. Staff is slow, not friendly. Was looking for a new pizza place but I guess my search continues.

The whole family was very hungry after a day on the beach and we wanted something quick and not so costly. Lighthouse pizza served us well. We got two orders of breadsticks for an appetizer, they were very tasty and perfect amount for 7 people(2 kids, 5 adults) We got 2 large pizzas and there was only 1 slice left. I docked a star because the pizza wasn’t anything fabulous at the price, but we all left full and happy. The service was 5 star, quick, knowledgable and friendly. I’m sure we will be back in the future.

We came here after the fireworks. They were one of the few places open that were not asking for IDS(my wife had left hers in the car) so we decided to eat here for a super late dinner. The Taco Pizza was super yummy and my friend and I both loved the crushed doritos on top. I probably won’t come back to this location because my friend noticed that the back didn’t look too clean and both the front and back bathrooms were extremely dirty.

After watching the fireworks on Tybee Island I realized I was absolutely starving. So instead of getting ice cream we started looking around for a place with real food. Unfortunately, most places that were open that late required ID. I think this is a common practice though I have no idea what is normally open at these late hours. Anyway, we walked around for a bit until we realized the pizza place was open. The three of us decided to sit and eat though it took us forever to decide what we wanted to eat. We finally decided to split a specialty pizza. The two that were the most unique were the Cheeseburger and the Taco Pizza. We decided to go with the taco pizza though I was nervous how it would taste because I’m not a fan of ground beef. But it ended up tasting awesome thanks to the taco seasonings. My husband liked the crunchy doritos. I liked this place though I might consider going to the other location as this location wasn’t the cleanest(from personal observations, not just the recent review by an employee).

Very close to the beach. Pizza was decent, but a little overpriced in my opinion. I would definitely eat here again, if I were just ordering a slice, in a hurry. But as far as feeding a large family, it may be smarter to find a cheaper pizza shop.

BEWAREDONOTEATATTHISRESTAURANT! After working here for quite some time I believe it is safe to say that this is the worst pizza you will find on Tybee. The most disgusting kitchen I have EVER worked in before. The only reason people keep working here is because the owner pays above average. Everything is overpriced, which is expected while your at the beach, but they even charge 2.00 plus tax for water. There is a major RAT infestation that the health department has been notified about but still has done nothing. Please do not waste your time here & money and go to Hucapoos, Pizza on Wheels, or Nickis!

Haven’t eaten at Lighthouse Pizza in a number of years, but ordered carry out because they had gluten free pizza and our out of town family eat gluten free. Pizza ok, but incredibly small and expensive. If it was just the pricing on gluten free that was high, ok, but all prices high. At Hucapoo’s a HUGE pizza for the same price as a virtual«personal pizza» size here. Secondly, the«Greek salad» had maybe a teaspoon of feta cheese on the whole salad and was served with a small container of oil and another small container of balsamic vinegar??? Add to that, the shrimp that were added additionally, are tiny miniature, and are either canned or frozen at best, on Tybee Island??? Really sad with all of the shrimp boats here on the island…

SNOWBALLZSHAVEDICE next to Lighthouse Pizza but part of it. Good refreshing shaved ice american style(no condensed milk), just ice and flavoring.

Did you just take a mini tour of the Tybee beach bars including Tybee Time and wet willies? Are you starving and concerned whether they’ll let you in some of the nicer establishments? Are you still carrying one of your froze daiquiris and seeking a place that will look the other way and allow you to bring it in? Have a seat, you found what you were looking for. The wife and I had a pizza and breadsticks, and I had a craft beer. All were delicious. They don’t have medium sized pies, so we went with a large. Mistake. The small and breadsticks is plenty enough to feed two people(who have been drinking). The large is huge and covered in the delicious toppings. Although it isn’t a romantic environment, for most of our meal it was only the two of us in the restaurant, so it was enjoyable. Side note about their claims if «unique Tybee dough»: the only thing making it unique is that they hand make the dough daily. It’s not actually related to Tybee in any way.
