We like the yakisoba noodle dishes here. Get take-out a couple times per month. Food is always delicious, served hot, and with quick and friendly service. Price is OK since portions are ample. There are magazines to read while waiting for take out orders. They have dine in also and the few times we have done that, found tables clean and a TV to watch sports. We recommend this restaurant for either dine in or take out.

Good food. The woman is great customer service, her husband is OK, but needs more training in cust service, can be a little rude. Salad dressing very good

Ever since the excellent House Of Teriyaki closed, I’ve been on the lookout for a substitute. I found this place while shopping at Fred Meyer. First impression: The restaurant has kind of a dingy, cheesy atmosphere, and the lone employee(owner?) greeted me with a scowl, like walking in and ordering a dinner entrée(Spicy Chicken) at 6pm was somewhat of an imposition on him and his empty restaurant. In any case, the food came, and the chicken and salad were quite good. I’d consider the«Spicy» chicken to be «mild» at best, but still good. The big problem though is that the portion was almost comically small. The expression«Where’s the Beef?» certainly comes to mind. Roughly half what you’d expect at this type of restaurant, especially for dinner. So I dunno, I’ve had worse, but it’s not really worth it. I probably won’t be back.

Smallest portion of spicy chicken teriyaki I have ever paid for. It is usually made with onions and I asked to hold off-maybe that’s the usual«filler». Chicken was dry and many pieces were small and burnt. Rice was not fresh. $ 10 for a meal and drink. Service was friendly and quick. Place was clean, so 2 stars. Maybe I chose the wrong dish.?.

This place is very good and also very healthy. When you walk in, you can see their organic and healthy ingredients written on the wall, literally. Can’t say anything bad about it. It is a bit higher priced and slightly slower service than Mashita’s, but it’s worth it. Also the Teriyaki sauce is just not quite as flavorful as Mashita’s, but I think that’s because it doesn’t contain artificial ingredients or corn syrup or whatever, and probably contains less sugar. It’s all good, health conscious ingredients. And thus, if you’re a health-conscious person, but love Teriyaki, this is the place for you!

I’ve heard good things about this restaurant and was told I needed to give it a try. I probably should have ordered the teriyaki chicken, but I was feeling the spicy chicken instead. It came topped with onions, on a pile of rice, and a salad on the side. The salad was delicious. I don’t know if they make their own dressing or not, but whatever it is they are doing it right. As far as the chicken goes, it wasn’t too spicy(which is normally fine with me) but I was expecting a little more flavor. It was a little underwhelming to be honest. Make sure you load up on teriyaki or soy sauce to go over the rice, otherwise it will make for a dry meal. This restaurant is located in a Fred Meyer shopping center in Tualatin. It’s very clean and the employees are really friendly. I’ll reserve ultimate judgement until I try the teriyaki chicken next time.

After shopping at Fred Meyer’s I thought I’d try Mama’s Teriyaki(to go). All the lights were on and the door was unlocked, but I was told they were closed. My phone said it was 7:58PM, Closing time, I just found out on Unilocal is supposedly 8:00PM. Most restaurants pay employees to clean up after they have closed, so why turn away business during business hours?

I frequent this place a lot, despite the fact that once in awhile the meat tastes like dirty grill. However, this last time I walked in before closing when the«Open» sign was still on and customers were eating at tables, the owner told me they were closed and refused to let me order to go. The clock behind him on his own wall said the time was before they closed. I am very disappointed in the poor customer service. They will not only be losing one transaction, but all future transactions of a once-loyal customer, as well as the many people I recommend them to. I work in advertising, and it is a shame that they would lose so many potential future clients. Word of mouth is a very powerful campaign; what a sad life lesson to have to learn the hard way.

My husband and I love this place. Really fresh, quality food and sauces. And the employees are always really friendly, happy, and quick to get your order made and out. We always get the Chicken and Shrimp combo, and it’s consistently amazing. Good amount of food for an extremely reasonable price of $ 8.95 I believe. We’ve become regulars here.

I stopped in here for a quick bite before heading out to enjoy the outdoors with some friends. The young lady working the cash register was extremely friendly and was very helpful with recommendations. The food was awesome. She highly recommended the gyoza’s. She was so enthusiastic about how much she liked them that she brought out some extra for my friends. There are lots of different sauces to experiment with. This place will be a regular for me.

I’ve been here a few times and I can easily say it’s my favorite teriyaki place in the area. I’m a big fan of hole-in-the-wall food spots, but this place is really clean. The food is always delicious. I always go for the beef and chicken terikyaki combo. I love the salad that comes with it!

Hands down, the Best chicken teriyaki in the area. Perfectly cooked with a nice char on the outside. Not over sauced either. Good rice too. Recommend calling ahead if you plan to take out.

Great flavor on the teriyaki chicken, brown rice is an option(for a little more $), portion sizes for a lunch plate are very generous, & I love the lettuce with dressing on the side as a nice alternative to steamed veggies or macaroni salad. And they are super quick.

Best Teriyaki place around the Tualatin/Sherwood/Tigard area. This is my new favorite lunch spot. better than Mashita’s by a long shot. The food was great, perfect amount of flavor and char-ness without being really greasy and saucy. I had the spicy chicken for only 6.95! Awesome food that’s relatively healthy and at a great price. Loooove

I work nearby this plaza and I have started to make this my regular lunch spot to walm to. The food isn’t exceptional but it’s good enough(above average), the portions are big and prices cheap, place looks a bit old but still well kept, and the service is fantastic! The woman at the cashier is always very polite and makes you feel welcome. I alternate between the chicken teriyaki lunch special and the chicken and shrimp special. From reading the other reviews it seems like I should give the spicy chicken a try! If you live or work near the area I would recommend this restaurant, I would rank it as the top out of all the other restaurants in the two plazas on this block.

I really liked their chicken yakisoba, noodle size is good and I prefer the way they cut their chicken over mashitas, it was sliced thinly and i didn’t get any chewy or hard pieces which I have received other places. I would definitely go here again!
