Watch the code dates on the beers. Found several out of date on my last visit.

Spec’s is super cool. Large selection, employees were very helpful, and they had several samples. They have everything you need to make the perfect mixed drink. Also the employees are very helpful and make great selections. I’ll be back for sure.

First visit to this location while in the area for lunch. Posted several photos of the interior. Not as much inventory as Total Wine in Plano near Hwy 121 otherwise good selection of what you want.

This is the most decent liquor store in the colony near my apartment. I have been to a few others and they are quite frankly shady as hell. WIll return always! Mindful staff and friendly!

The staff in the deli area are so nice! The sandwiches are delish. My hubby had the Texas Turkey and I had Lindy’s fav. Yumm!

Specs is a great liquor/​specialty item store. love the discount you get when you pay with cash and the large selection. I’ve never had anything other than friendly customer service from their knowledgable employees at any Specs I have shopped at.

Owned and operated by the same Houston family since 1962, Spec’s is a true destination shopping experience. Spec and Carolynn Jackson began their venture into the liquor business with a small store around 1000 sq ft selling pints and half pints of liquor. Over the years they diligently worked to open more locations and expanded to include larger bottles of liquor and then beer. In 1971 their daughter Lindy and son in law John joined the business upon college graduation. John and Lindy learned the business from the ground up and together the four put Spec’s into the spotlight of the world.
I like the fact that they have large varieties, in all their locations I have visited. Every location super clean, the staff is super friendly and the prices… well you guessed it… they’re super ;-)

they have some great craft beers — i was able to find ommegang’s GoT beer, ‘valar morghulis’, they always have my lambic, and my bf’s crabbies in original and orange — still waiting on the raspberry. occasionally they carry cloves too, when they don’t run out i mean.
last time we went was on NYE and i had to be dragged away from the freezer case over in the deli section, where my eyes became glued to a package of duck bacon.
i still want that duck bacon…

Super helpful and knowledgeable staff. Their recommendations were spot-​on and they don’t try to sell you expensive stuff. Wish they had more Christmas beers when I went in but that would be my only complaint. Seems like everyone knows what they are doing in this store. Hi-​Five Spec’s!

Spec’s is just hands down the best man cave bar retailer around.
It’s like BevMo in the West but bigger, nicer, cleaner, and better selections.
I got several obscure Scotch whiskies at a great price.

Great selection; lots of stuff to choose from. Staff is hit and miss, however. On this Halloween, while checking out, witnessed a clerk (dressed as Bjork) shouting angrily at a fellow clerk. No bueno, Bjork. I’m sure the other lady was humiliated. Sure hope it was some kind of inside joke, but it didn’t look like it. If not for that, 4 stars.

Conveniently located off of 121 between Main and Paige They have a wide range of just about anything and everything. Cigars too. The last couple of times I dropped in they were sampling liquor or some sort of cordial. That’s always a nice touch if you ask me to be greeted with a refreshment while browsing or shall I say tipsy while you load up your shopping carts. Great prices and Brian Eason, one of the territory managers is always great to work with

5 stars! Need I say more. Great prices great service and a great selection. Pretty decent cigar selection but wish they had more. I’ll go out of my to visit this place!

Have been here a couple of times now, and I must say Joe is very knowledgable about wine pairings, food and various new craft beers.
He showed genuine interest in helping us find what we were looking for, instead of just trying to up sell on products we didn’t want.
Everything he choose we loved and when I am in need again of some good beer or wine selections, I know I can count on Joe for good advice!

Pure heaven. They have everything you’d ever want, and if they don’t they take suggestions on new things to order.
All the employees are super knowledgable and helpful, and genuinely happy to be working (which is unlike basically every other store… Ever in existence).
They have tons of low end and speciality beer, tons of cider (my favorite!), liquor, tons of wine, and snacks and cigars. Don’t know what kind of wine goes with dinner? Just ask — they will help you find the best pairing at your price point.
Don’t forget to stop at the deli for a sandwich. The Cali is my favorite! And the Reuben!

I love Spec’s. Prices and selection are always great. They have a lot of unique foods and other items and make it so much more than just another liquor store. Try their deli sandwhiches! Made to order with fresh ingredients and good sized portions.
Only drawback is there is no cash register at the deli counter. You have to walk back to the checkout counter to pay. Make sure you bring your chips & drink up front so they can ring it up. Then you can walk back to the deli area to eat. Just not a user friendly process. Gotta get that fixed…

For a non-​drinker I’ve made several trips to this store since it recently opened. I’ve been in to purchase wine for gifts and to try their deli so my review is based on those two impressions.
The deli is awesome. Besides having a lot of options to choose from, I was able to get in and out quickly. They do offer a seating area if you want to eat in. I wasn’t crazy about their set ingredients list for the veggie sandwich so I asked if I was allowed to make substitutions and they were more than happy to accommodate me. The service was fast and friendly and the sandwich tasted great.
I know nothing about wine so I came in with a list of «types» my friends all liked. Based on these I had an employee show me several different options and she gave me an explanation for each while answering all my questions. It’s hard to buy wine when you know nothing about it so I was thankful for the help.
My only complaint has to do with the cashiers. So far each has seemed like a dimwit. I’ve tried to not let this get in the way as this is a new store and may still be going through some growing pains. Cashiers aside, I give it two thumbs up.
I haven’t properly walked around and browsed but I did notice isles of sauces and specialty items.
