Romano’s Macaroni Grill

Every time I come here I always have a great experience but today was just amazing!!! Our waitress kathy was very sweet and helped us out with our menu give us some great recommendations which we took! Also our food was amazing Kathy made sure that everything came out perfect, and was on top of everything the whole time. We will be coming back to Macaroni Grill for years to come simply because of how amazing their customer service is.

This place was pretty empty for when we came in. We were sat next to the open kitchen and it made the dining experience kind of a headache. Empty and silent in the actual restaurant and all you hear is the kitchen! Boo! Decently priced for dinner, a little pricy for lunch. Rosemary bread was amazing though! Staff was friendly, we were waited on by what appeared to be the bartender.

I like this restaurant but the five star review is because of COURTNEY! She went out of her way to make me happy. I aways order make your own pasta and ask for a lot of veggies and a little pasta. As usual, I got a massive plate of pasta and a few veggies. Courtney went out of her way to bring me a beautiful plate of grilled broccolini and asparagus. I was very happy to say the least. Thank you for the EXCELLENT SERVICE!

Everything was delicious! For once in my life I’m so happy i just went with the flow and ate here with no arguments. Running errands with my bff, she suggested we come here for dinner. I didn’t want to mention that i had already eaten Italian food 3 times this week. … so i just went to make her happy.
Another issue about coming here was the bad experiences I’ve had at the Corona, location. Bad experience and just frustrated with quality of the food.
We came in and was seated pretty quickly, and was greeted by a wonderful waiter named Joseph. I had explained to Joseph, that the chicken Scaloppini use to be my absolute favorite dish until recently. He reassured me that they would make it correctly, and he was absolutely right. I have my favorite dish back!
My bff ordered the chicken Marsala, and loved it. We both ordered the Bibb & Blue Salads and it also was delicious. I didn’t have to ask for extra dressing or toss it around until i got tired of it. Pretty sad ha? Well no more! This has become my new Macaroni Grill location. The food is delicious and the service is excellent.
For dessert i had to order their chocolate cake. By far this is the best chocolate cake from anywhere. They serve the cake in a deep dish. The cake itself is extremely moist but the top has a hard crust. It comes with a hot chocolate ganache, and homemade whipped cream with sprinkled nuts & toffee. It’s worthy of a Blue Ribbon!
The whole dinner experience was perfect. A polite manager named Kerry, came to the table to welcome us and asked if everything was fine. We reassured him that everything was delicious and that Joseph, was a excellent /​wonderful and pleasent waiter and that we were very happy.
We’ll definitely be back and recommend this location!

Had a very positive experience this past Saturday at brunch with my wife at the Temecula location; our server’s name was Alex; he was helpful and maintained the perfect amount of attentiveness.
For example, when taking our drink order, I decided to order hot tea; I explained that I do not normally have hot tea with my meals, but that I’ve been fighting a scratchy throat; Alex then offered to bring some honey to go with the tea which was very much appreciated.
As always, the bread at the beginning of the meal, with the Oil and Balsamic Vinegar, is a great starter. My wife had the Chicken Parmesan Eggs Benedict and I had the Brisket Skillet; we each ate half and switched (we do that a lot). Both meals were excellent.
Another example of Alex’s attentiveness: Toward the end of our meals, we are left with more bread; each dish came with another slice/​stick of bread. I asked Alex if they had any Jelly or Preserves. He indicated that they didn’t really, but asked if we liked Strawberries. He went into the back and blended a few strawberries with some white and brown sugar… it was AMAZING; my wife even said, forget the bread, I’m just eating these strawberry preserves alone.
We’ve always experienced good service at Macaroni Grill, we eat there on average probably once a month. However this time the service was over the top. In this day and age when the art of customer service often seems to be on the wane, we really appreciate when someone takes their role seriously and goes above and beyond, to ensure that each customer experience is a positive one.

Exterior: Looks exactly the same as most Macaroni Grill. Clean.
Interior: big and clean. Similar design to all of its chain.
Service: really nice server. She was funny and joked with us. She also checked up on us regularly asking if food was OK and if we had enough water.
Food: Bread is always hot and yummy. I forgot which noodle we got but one of the thin one was good. My tomato seafood one was good too. But another one was cheese and pasta type and it was pretty mushy. Appetizers was good. So overall, appetizer and bread was the best. The noodles were ok though.
Overall, service was the best while the food was OK with a but of quality issues. Beside that, it is a good place to go to.

The hubs & I haven’t been to Macaroni Grill in years; the last time was in Fresno & they were ok. However, we decided to try them again & I’m glad we did!
Our server was Aaron who couldn’t have done a better job if he tried. Very friendly, prompt and knew the menu. The bread he brought to our table was fresh out the oven; the one in Fresno was always cold & hard. Bottom line – we tore that bread up!
We ordered two apps (great deal!) which were the loaded fries & the meatballs. So. Very. Good. We tried to eat slow so we wouldn’t get full before the mains arrived. Too late. It was hard to stop eating the fries!
For dinner I ordered the Rosemary Ribeye (that sucker was huge) and hubby got the Pasta Bake that was large enough to feed three people. Everything was hot when it arrived and cooked perfect. Of course we had leftovers, which in my mind is a good thing!
We will definitely be back! There are so many other items I want to try-​maybe we’ll have room for dessert! Thanks Aaron for the awesome service!

Well…needless to say, the environment was great for our 1 yr old companion. Mellow and very laid back but classic. We were able to have a nice meal without lots of distraction
NOW, OUR SERVER KATHY WAS AMAZING! You don’t meet people like her everyday.
From the knowledge of the menu AND WINE (the well needed), the personable connection, to the thoughtful TO-​GO bag.
she really made our baby date night perfect!

I am a regular here. It is always good for an Italian meal. Today I tried the penne rustica for the first time. It is literally the best pasta dish I have ever had in my entire life.
It was absolutely filled with shrimp and chicken. Filled. I’m never not getting this for so long again. I can’t believe I’ve been a customer here for years and have never tried this. I want to kiss whoever made it.

I like Macaroni Grill. The food is pretty good and they have great lunch specials. They were open on Thanksgiving and luckily for us, we were able to have a meal on Thanksgiving. What was really nice about the menu is that it was an open menu along side the turkey dinner special. My boyfriend had the turkey dinner and was very pleased with the food. All of your Thanksgiving foods were there. I had a salad and pasta dish and was pleased.
The server was kind of rude and I didn’t appreciate some of his comments. I think he was trying to be funny, but it wasn’t funny.
Overall, the food was fine, we were seated right away, and food was served in a timely manner. Perhaps next time, a different server and things would be 4 – 5 stars.
