Disappointing food and service — our large group broke up to 4 tables to be served. Our food arrived at varying times, not by table. Requests had to be made for drink refills, fries tasted as if they’d been sitting, burger buns were dry and crumbly. Kids hotdogs looked great and malts were delicious. Maybe more of a locals spot than a must-stop in this old town area. AVOID the restrooms if you can hold it!

Lunch was good. Probably not the best burger ever but, good. The service was good and a very pretty server. Nice!

Not sure why the bad reviews, from the service, to the food, all was good. not very impressed with the fries though, but boy those burgers were great! The family ordered the bacon burger, monster, and turkey, and all if them were pretty good. For the price i think is pretty good since they are massive

Always the place we go when we are close to Temecula, great burgers and food. Outside dinning and just a really nice place in Oldtown Temecula.

I heard good things about mad madelines and I frankly don’t get it. The burgers were mediocre at best. The fries were below average as there were way too many burnt bits and pieces. Dat on the patio that faces front street and it was dirty and unorganized. Had to ask for basic condiments while we watched the guy clean off stuff outside and wash the smelly water into the street. I was not impressed and it was way pricy for the quality and service. 2.5 stars picked 3 because brother in law had the ribs and he said they were pretty good

Spoiled brats who close to soon. Somehow these clowns got some sort of reward, which makes me think payoffs work. If you eat here you’ll enjoy filthy douche bag language from not just the customers but also the owner. Classic scumbag Temecula. The food is ok, not garbage like the mouth on the owner, but not bad. Summary, I would never go back here for any reason. If your white trash however, enjoy, this place was built for YOU :)

Friday night is rib night at Mad Madelines! We’re here for the delicious dry rub ribs. The rack is so meaty that my wife and I split it!

So very good… stopped here recently and had their pastrami and it was excellent. My hubby had the cheesburger and loved it as well. Great service and fast.

I was excited to sit down and be at a popular burger joint that so many have spoken well about. For me, it was OK. Pros: servers were quick with the first round of drinks, sampler was big enough for 4 of us to share, it was a cold day and we sat under a heater and it was very comfortable. Cons: food was decent, fries were blan, burger was semi warm, not really anything special. Bathroom was filthy and awkwardly located next to the kitchen door where people were coming in and out. I left feeling full, but in a «I ate to many French fries at McDonald’s and feel sick kind of way» I unfortunately was not impressed and will not be recommending any of my friends or family to come by.

I enjoy occasionally eating a bunch of fried foods, and this place doesn’t disappoint. My boyfriend and I shared an order of fried green beans, which we finished almost all of, though it was a large serving. I love old fashioned burger joints, and the service and taste lived up to my expectations. I ordered a cheeseburger combo, because I wanted to keep it simple. They had a lot of interesting burgers, but I was sort of afraid they would be over complicated for a simple burger place. It’s a huge burger and it was pretty good. My boyfriend ordered the blue cheese burger and said it was okay. I think perhaps he didn’t like the flavor combinations too much. Anyway, I will definitely come back when I’m craving fried foods, or if I’m showing someone around Temecula who happens to like old fashioned burgers.

When you first walk in make sure you grab a menu and seat yourself. It’s a good home cooked style burger place. The French fries taste just like in and out except thicker which is good! Definitely a place to get a quick bite.

Came here for a snack on the way back from my best friend’s wedding. Ordered mozzarella sticks(tasty!) and a root beer float(average, they use soft serve instead of real ice cream). Waitstaff was super friendly and very helpful. I’d give them three stars, except that as I drove home my stomach … rebelled. Spent most of the rest of the night in the bathroom, and eating half-size meals :( Definitely would not stop there again, despite the very friendly service.

The burger was good!(now was it «the best» as they claimed? very debateable…) The best part about it was the sauteed mushrooms on top, yum. I felt like the fries were a little flavorless. The ice tea was quite bland. Also, it was sooo hot that day on the patio, even with the shade and the misters. I do like that the patio is dog friendly! Our servers were really nice and were able to accommodate my huge family of 10 people(at separate tables). Parking was convenient in the little lot next to the restaurant.

Realize when you go in, you can seat yourself and don’t forget to grab a menu. Also, it can get quite busy. We went by, smelled so good, but there was a line and it was slammed. So we did some shopping and walked around, de ided the wait might be worth it, so headed back. No line, no wait and free tables. YES! We had a family of five and a huge order, and we all ordered specialty burgers. Got our drinks very quickly as well as timely refills, which is great because it was hot out and we’d walked the whole street, window shopping and actual shopping. Order took a bit longer than others, but again, large and specialty… burgers were great, onion rings yum, fries were hot and fresh and the zucchini sticks were even better. They offer a military discount, which is great for us. We will be back our next time thru Temecula.

The burgers here are ok. Definitely not the«best hamburger place» they advertise themselves as, but it’s decent. We ordered a buffalo burger, a mushroom burger, and upgraded one of the fries to onion rings for $ 2 more. The total came out to $ 30! Really pricy for mediocre burgers. The restaurant is in a comfortable setting and the staff is very friendly, but the food isn’t worth the price in my opinion.

I decided to give this place a try because they have a huge banner saying they were the best voted hamburger place in the inland empire. That’s a pretty bold thing to say, so decided to drop in. When you arrive you pick up your own menu and grab a seat where you can find one. We sat at the bar facing the street which has a cool view. They were a little busy so it took about 15 minutes to get our order in. Drinks were delivered by what appeared to be a 10 year old boy so I’m assuming this is a family ran place. Food came about 15 minutes later. I ordered the #1 which is a cheeseburger, fries and a drink. Around $ 10. The burger was very hot temperature wise which was cool. But the burger was tasteless. I had to add salt. Even that didn’t bring flavor to the burger. Was disappointed. Should have tried one of the other burgers. The fries were pretty good.

This was another burger spot I had been meaning to try for a while. Sadly, this one failed to live up to my expectations. It was not a bad experience by any means, but just not as I had hoped/imagined it would be. Literally every time I have walked/driven by this place, it was packed solid. I always just assumed the wait would be too long, so kept on driving/walking by to eat elsewhere. When I finally was able to catch them on a slow day/hour, I was excited, to say the least. That excitement quickly turned into disappointment, both from a taste and service standpoint. Again, there was nothing necessarily«wrong» with this place, but there just wasn’t anything special about it either. I personally do not understand why it is always so jam packed, but to each his own. I do not plan to return, but also do not want to discourage anyone new from trying it out themselves. Judging by how crowded they normally are, there is a good chance I just caught them on an off day; however, for the money(my burger alone was around $ 10.00), it just isn’t worth a second try for me.
