My husband and I went there about 1 week ago and the host was this older grey haired guy who just kept staring at us. He was absolutely rude and made us feel so unwelcome. We sat down at a booth and then as he was walking away said, «Where are you from?» My husband said California. He stared at us and then walked away. When we got up to leave the grey haired guy stared at me and said«where is your accent from?» Mind you, I had not even spoken to this guy. I was taken aback and said I have no accent, I was born and raised in Vermont, EXCUSEME! I realized he was an ignorant mean spirited jerk. He saw that my husband didn’t look quite like an American, so that was why he addressed me to rudely. Telluride is such a great place to come and ski and it is people like him that spoil it all. The food may have been good, but this guy needs to go sit in his Archie Bunker chair and stay home. One the other hand, the young man who was our waiter was great!

We had the honey baked brie… Best ever. Great Bloody Mary, apple cider, BBB burger(I don’t like blue cheese, so I substituted Gruyère) it was delicious and my husband loved the Ruben or was it the pastrami? Either way, I’m sure both are yummy. Service was fantastic!

My husband ordered the burger with pastrami, and it was his favorite sandwich/burger he’s ever had – an explosion of flavor! We went back for brunch the next day and had the Trucker, which was also delicious. Our only complaint was the apple juice came in a small glass filled with ice, so it was only 2 sips worth. Other than that, everything was fantastic.

An awesome quaint place to come rest your laurels after walking around the quaint town of telluride. «A saloon with a twist» is what my fiancé called it, as they serve great mix of bar bites and alternates like baked Brie and Vietnamese phở. I had the atomic chicken salad and duck French onion soup and I recommend both! Great ambiance with classic rock playing at a nice volume. Come here, you won’t regret it.

Duck gumbo and burgers are amazing… And can we talk about the HOMEMADE apple pie?! Literally we talked to the owner… She made it!

We went here for a birthday lunch and the restaurant wasn’t crowded at all but did have a «Please Wait to Be Seated» sign. The bartender looked up as we came in but didn’t acknowledge us. He was 5′ from us as we were standing there for a minute and kept his back to us; I finally asked if we should seat ourselves and he said«I’ll get to you». We should have left. I don’t understand restaurants that feel the customer is a burden. Because that colors the whole experience and makes the task of paying for the meal feel unsatisfactory. The waitress was friendly but didn’t know the menu and gave wrong answers which became an issue when the food was delivered. Here’s a rule I live by when asking someone a question: Stop listening when the answer starts with«I think.» And the effort on the food seemed phoned in and nothing worth the price.

Fun crowd, good food, great selection of beers/cocktails etc. Low key place to head for a beer and cup of soup after a cold day on the mountain!

Fantastic almost hole in the wall restaurant and bar. Hubby had turkey club, I had the ever so simple grilled ham and cheese with tomato bisque soup. Great mix of cheeses on locally baked bread. The soup was NOT from a can. And, it came with a yummy side of freshly made sweet potato chips. Great service, too.

Amazing service all around… Bloody Mary, pulled organic chicken with Munster and duck French onion all great! Not to mention all of the above for under $ 20…then bartender Roby gave me a complimentary«face bomb» TBC Face Down Brown with a shot of Jameson — Root Beer liquor — great combo All around highly recommended for the booze, food and nice staff

That may just have been the very best sandwich that I had in my whole life. I had«The Boy»: turkey, bacon, pepper jack cheese, butter lettuce, basil, tomatoes, and avocado on house made ciabatta bread. Each half was almost too big to hold on to(but I managed!). The fillings were fresh and real and wonderful on their own, but the combination was heavenly. It was served with a choice of french fries, sweet potato chips, or cole slaw. I had the fries and they were thin and crisp and perfect. Absolutely wonderful lunch!

Telluride seems to lack a bit in the breakfast scene, but we went to brunch at Floradora at the suggestion of some locals. We arrived right at 10:00 am, with several other people, awaiting the opening. We sat at the bar. Molly, our bartender, served about 2000 bloody marys and 1000 mimosas while we were there(yep, we consumed some of them). She was efficient, friendly, and fun. The food is amazing. I had the chicken fried chicken with biscuits and gravy. The portion sizes are reasonable, which I appreciate. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The crispy-tender breast was laid upon a fluffy biscuit and lightly covered with a delicious gravy. The potatoes had a nice spice to them(paprika!). Great breakfast!

Had the phở ramen based on a suggestion from our server. It was good, not great. My boyfriend’s philly cheese steak was disappointing. Saving grace– the fries. Super thin and tasty.

We arrived in Telluride hungry for lunch. I have some friends who recommended Floradora and it coincided with good Unilocal reviews so that’s usually a recipe for success. We had outdoor patio seats with a perfect scenic view on a perfect weather day in late summer. Top it off with good food and service and we were happy to be here. I ordered the Spicy Pastrami Reuben because it sounded so intriguing. I love classic and authentic east coast Reubens and rarely ever opt for a Reuben with a twist but I simply could not resist this time. It was definitely worth it. It’s good they put it on a classy fresh rye bread though because I don’t think you can mess with that and get away with it. But they used good quality pastrami, gruyère cheese and a lightly habanero altered 1000 dressing. And traditional coleslaw. I can’t believe how well it worked. My husband had the lamb burger with a mint chimichurri and house made sweet potato fries. And I ate half his fries, while saying this will be the last one I take, each time. No room for dessert. Good service and fair prices for the food and location.

Just a great casual place on the main drag of Telluride to enjoy great drinks and food and a flight of whiskey if you like. The service is excellent and very friendly. The food choices at our table(Steelhead Trout and Shepherds Pie) were spectacular. You can tell this is a place that is loved by its ownership — great vibe !!!

First time in Telluride so I tried as many places as possible. Nice little spot located on main street. Never went inside but ate out on the patio. The patio is smallish and they crowd in there but it is worth it(people watching… beautiful scenery). Ordered the spicy pastrami Ruben with house fries. Pastrami was done locally and you could tell. Very tasty, lean and had some texture. Not sure what the«spicy» was(couldn’t really taste it) but overall the sandwich was very good. Fries were little soggy and disappointing. Price was fairly inexpensive(especially for Telluride). Service was just ok. We went at about 9pm on Sunday of the Bluegrass Festival and I think the wait staff was burnt out. Everybody was super friendly. Highly recommend.

This is the second time we have been to Floradora, was so good the first time, we had to make sure we came back. The owner, Flora, lovely lady. She makes homemade jams and jellies, which we always get a container of jam to take back home to Arizona. Food is always very tasty and the service is great. Let’s not forget to mention how awesome the horseradish bloody mary was probably the best i’ve ever had. We were so fun by the time we finished our lunch but Flora, the sweet lady that she is talked us into dessert, homemade pie, don’t remember the name of it but it was large, it was a pumpkin cheese cake with whipped cream and toasted cinnamon nuts crumble on top. Looking forward to the next time we can visit Floradora, craving a horseradish boodmary!
