Ridiculously high prices. The manager was very rude and talking on the phone while helping people. Horrible management. Felt bad for the cashier she seemed overwhelmed and almost stole my hanger. If it wasn’t for my children I would never have ever entered a Spirit Halloween store.

First off, I asked Unilocal to change their name to HALLOWEEN, not«Holloween»… I have no idea who this short old employee stinking of booze is from an earlier review(maybe that person was«helped» by a hobo who stumbled in from the street!) LOL Did NOT see him there!!! I was greeted by a couple of nice ladies clearly dressed in clothing marked with the Spirit logo so there was no mistaking who they were. I was free to walk around and peruse the merchandise. The life-sized displays are impressive, interactive and fun. I was able to take lots of pics and look at them up close. Some of the elements jumped out and made noise. I’m a mom so hardly anything frightens me or grosses me out. The store is an old Loehmann’s department store that closed down and is a welcome use of the space. There’s TONS of costumes. They have just about everything under the sun, character-wise. If a person can’t find something to «be» here, they’re really gonna be in trouble… I’m not going to go over the list, it’s just too varied. That said, however, if you’re looking to be something, say, Harry Potter-related, like a certain school, you might be in trouble. I found Harry Potter glasses and a wand, and a pair of socks and a tie. But where’s the robe. Uh… time to hit the thrift stores and look for an old graduation robe if you’re looking to complete that one, you see what I mean? Gotta get creative if you’re striking out. I also found a few Slytherin(MY school of choice) but no Hufflepuff(my daughter’s school)…nor any of the others… They have decorations. Lots of satanic-looking bastard kid dolls and demon babies for anyone looking for birth control. Loads of accessories, makeup and the like. I found very little there that I wanted to actually purchase. I’m so used to making my own costumes up that I hardly ever buy new stuff but I do love going to these places because my daughter HATES scary Halloween and adores the cute stuff. I do have to say the gore and the zombie shit is pretty over the top these days!!! Not that I don’t like it, it’s just nice to see some of both… EASYPARKING, since this an outdated strip mall. Didn’t try to call either, so dunno about that –based on another reviewer’s experience it’s prob not a good idea, just stop by, it’s worth it to go if you’re looking for costumes this year. Seems like it might be a better location than most, crowd-wise?

Please do not call the phone number listed on Unilocal! These people are messed up. They left the wrong number here and never bothered to correct it. Reported to Unilocal and no response from them either. Don’t know how everyone gets customer and makes money these days!

Came here to check out the costumes for my favorite time of the year :). It is very accessible and they have their own parking lot so no worries about that! Went in and the staff were very friendly. However they don’t have a lot of costumes and I didn’t see any plus sizes that they had on their website. I asked a store clerk there if they had any plus size costumes and they said«I don’t know probably only online». They have plenty of decorations for your house, black light and party supplies am a decent selection of children’s costumes. Thy have a pretty good selection of random Halloween accessories if you want to build your own costume. However I felt that selection and supply of adult costumes were lacking.
