Hands down, best manicurist you can find anywhere in the Bay Area. She is very patient, a sweetheart, and straightforward with you. If you want perfectly shaped shellac gel nails or normal nail paint, she is your best bet. Price is very reasonable, gives best massages and conversations. Once you begin visiting her, you will find yourself coming to her forever! She has a lot of loyal customers, and a busy schedule, so schedule a week in advance! These are the shellac gel nails she did for me, a deep shimmer red all around with a stylish silver middle and ring finger for the season & holiday. Love love love!

I started going to Annie on the advice of a friend who’s been a client of hers for years. I’ve tried a wide range of nail salons — from pricey full pampering services to inexpensive no frills (out in 30 minutes). Each time a disappointing outcome. The reason? I could not get uniformly shaped nails. I left with jagged, lopsided, or irregular shaped nails.
My first visit was a pedicure and I was not disappointed. Annie took her time, gave a great foot massage, and my feet and nails looked great. My next and subsequent appointments with Annie have been shellac french manicures. Finally, someone who can file uniformly round shaped nails! For my daughter’s wedding, Annie did all of our manicures! I trust no one else now.
A word of advice, Annie is booked weeks in advance. Best to call ahead for an appointment, but call in case she gets a cancellation. Annie is very accommodating. She now has her own room inside of the hair salon.

Great service

Annie is an excellent manicurist; she works out of a hair salon located near the former location of Loehmann’s. She has limited space, no massage chair, but the setup is adequate; the end result is excellent but if you are looking for the full spa experience you might be disappointed. With that said, it is nearly impossible to get in the same day. Anne clearly has a loyal clientele, advise calling ahead to make an appointment.

Annie’s very profesional. She have very good memory, remember your nail polish colore. She’s very clean. The tools that she used sterile. Every time you will get new set of fille and this is not so common. She is Meticulous and doing her work precisely.
She is very accommodating. If i cant make an appointment she always find time for me.
Her feet massage is the best. The fill and nail polish work last long time.
All my guest loved her and wish she move to their place with them. Once you’ll come your standard will change and you’ll never leave.

I got my first mani pedi here! My mom and I have been coming to Annie for a few years now and we’ve never had an issue. She does her work in the back of beauty store. It’s a small space but she always keeps her area clean and presentable.
Annie takes care of my nails well and always knows exactly what color I want. My manicures last up to a week in perfect condition which is respectable and as for the pedicures. they last up to a month! I live in Boston and I find that the monthly visits I make are enough (for pedicures). She keeps all of her equipment in a hygienic and proper manner: this is my favorite thing about her. She is also one for simplicity, so don’t expect any bells and whistles that some salons like to spoil their customers with. But I like that about her. She doesn’t waste any time, which is good for people who just want to come in for a quick service. She also has a pretty good range of colors. Annie is great and super friendly, you won’t regret it!

I just visited Annie for the first time — what a pleasure. The work area is so clean and she is so thorough. I came in for removal of tips with every intention of getting a new set and instead I took her suggestion and got a manicure — my nails look GREAT!!! Best manicure I have ever had… it is now two days old (and lots of cleaning, water engagement, etc.) and the paint job is still in tact! There was another client just finishing up when I arrived and she went on and on and on about how great Annie’s work is and she is correcto.
If you are looking for fancy and mill-​style nail salon, this isn’t for you. If you are looking for quality and good customer care, Annie’s is a sure bet.

I’ve been going to Annie since at least 2000 and occasionally have my nails done (or a broken nail fixed) elsewhere, when on vacation, etc. That gives me plenty of perspective: Annie is the best. She is very hygienic and changes out her tools (autoclaves them) and the disposable aspects (the sander on the nail buffer, the hand buffer, the shaper) for EVERY manicure/​fill. No one else I’ve been to does this. In other states, it’s a strict law, and some even take their own supplies to their manicurist. I know why. Knowing she is giving me fresh supplies is a real plus.
Annie’s pedicures are top notch, as others have mentioned. My mother-​in-​law calls before coming down to California and books her pedicure every time now, because she says Annie is thorough and very careful. Anyone with foot/​nail problems will find she does great work. I go elsewhere for my pedicures ONLY because they have more luxury features (massage chairs, hot rocks, hot wax, etc.), but I have never thought they did as good a job on my toenails themselves as she does. Nor are they as hygienic – she follows all the steps of cleaning her footbath quite carefully.
And yep, Annie is fastidious about the polish, whether pedicure or mani. She will go back and fix something I can’t even see, and I was once a *very* fussy customer. No need to be, with Annie!
As with all service professions like hers, Annie has late customers and gets a little bit off schedule from time to time. I just stay flexible because sometimes it’s ME who’s late, and mess HER up. Having some give-​and-​take about this is essential; if there’s a day when things are really tight for me, I check with her first to be sure she’s running on time. This is not a major problem at all, but I thought I’d mention it because of another review.
Lastly, though Annie does only use clear powder, she can do nail designs and things that are a bit more modern/​stylish, just ask her.

My first pedi here in Cali. I found Annie here on Unilocal after reading multiple reviews on several nail salons. I chose Annie based on three reviews because she sounded like she was not one of those assembly line salons. You know rush you in and rush you out in 30 minutes. NEXT, PICK UR COLOR! Anyways I got there on time and yes she is next to Loehman’s in the back of a beauty supply store. No fancy spa chairs which I usually like that rolling pin effect on my back until it gets annoying and I shut it off. She had a regular foot bath waiting for me with warm, soapy water.
I booked my appointment for a fill for pink and white gel nails. Annie does not do pink and white fills just regular clear powder. She apologized several times which was unnecessary. I told her I would get my pedi since I drove to see her and my nails could wait. Annie took her time on my feet and made them smooth like a baby’s bottom. She does not do nail designs. I had a feeling most of Annie’s customers are older and very conservative. I like to walk on the wild side sometimes and paint a flower on my big toes.
If you are not looking for fancy and want a great pedi with care Annie is great. Give her a try. I will continue to search for someone to take care of my hands.

I’ve been going to Annie for 4 yrs. now thanks to my Mom who had seen Annie for sveral years before moving out of town (she still comes to see Annie once in a while) The BEST pedicure I’ve ever had!!! Since going to Annie, I have never had a problem with my in-​grown toe nails since. The price is right, the location is very clean. I see Anni every three weeks and I dread when I have to miss an appt! Annie should have been a podiatrist!!!

I went to Annie’s Nails today because of the great reviews here. Everything is right on. The shop is immaculate, Her work is just beautiful. I have had acrylics for over 15 years and just left a shop after going there 12 years. I moved and had angst about finding someone else. I am so glad that I found her. Thanks Unilocalers.

I have been going to Annie’s Nails for 4+ years now. I don’t care what anyone else says! She’s the bestest of the best when it comes to nails and toes!
The best way to describe her is CLEAN. That’s what you are looking for when you go to these nails places. She takes her time, doesn’t rush, and is very precise with her polish. She’s pickier than I am! And that’s pretty darn picky!
It took me years and years to find her. Now… I’ll never go to anyone else!
