Came here for a birthday party. The server made the experience great. I had the pork chops. It’s unfortunate I couldn’t finish it. Makes good lunch for tomorrow.

If you ever have the chance to eat here, than my number 1 recommendation for the item here is the pork chop! It’s delicious, filling and not as expensive as the other dishes(but i believe the special is only on certain days). If you don’t like pork chop, thats fine, because the rest of the menu items on here is just as good, such as the New York Strip and Lamb Chop dish. Regardless what you order, the atmosphere and taste of the food will make the trip to this restaurant worth it! As for dessert(if you have room), the Banana Foster is really good, and they put on a show for you, before serving it. Definitely a good place for dates, but it can be expensive. Service is always great, and they do a great job in what they do. It does get busy on the weekends, so make sure to reserve ahead of time.

Came here couple of times and never disappoint. Food is good, service is great, the atmosphere is cozy… House’s Pork chop is a MUST to order… Field Green, Pear & Candied Pecan Salad is the best salad I’ve ever tasted… Love this place.

Perry’s Steakhouse is a classic gem of a restaurant that always surprises me whenever I visit. The steaks are delightful and cooked at the requested temperature. The side dishes are unique and flavorful. The service has always been good. The bar is especially enjoyable, with live music on Thursday nights. The happy hour menu is a real bargain. The only reason that I give Perry’s 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that the décor is not at the highest level I have experienced in Houston. Vic & Anthony’s, Ruth’s Chris, and others are simply one notch higher than Perry’s.

First time eating at this location, even though I used to work here part time several years ago. I came for the happy hour since I was in Sugarland on a week night and wow, I never paid attn to their large lounge area. It’s been a couple of years since I had been to a Perry’s happy hour and they always change out their menu items regularly. Some items they always seem to keep though, like the calamari. The first thing I noticed were the increased prices, apps now range from $ 8 – 12, with the calamari being the 12. Not sure why, I’ve had it before and it was good, not that good. Cocktails(with vodka and bourbon mainly) are still reasonably priced at $ 6 each. Wines by the glass range from $ 5 – 12. I ordered just the beef and blue and the escargot on my shortened visit. The escargot comes in a standard dish with a lot of melted butter and the biscuits are very buttery and sweet as well. There were so many spices, garlic and oil, one could barely taste the actual meat. As for the beef and blue, while I like the idea of adding a bacon jam to the beef and cracker, you really drown out any flavor of beef. The mixed greens on the dish alongside each cracker were very sad looking and mostly wilted. Not exactly great on presentation here. I was left with 2 apps that were just subpar for me. Atmosphere is always great though at Perry’s and they never rush you to order or leave. They pretty much let you sit and talk at your table as long as you wish.

Great service and food. Stayed at the Marriott next door and was delighted there was a high-end steakhouse right next door. Had drench onion soup(excellent) and the filet with side of sautéed mushrooms. All superb with a Titos on the rocks to start and glass of cab. Try it. You’ll love it.

Best steak in town. Awesome table service with just the right amount of interaction. Giving u privacy when u want it the most. Delicious starters, mains and dessert. Will definitely be back. We went early evening with my four year old and were given a corner seating which was perfect

This atmosphere is nice. The lighting is great. My sister had her birthday dinner here, therefore we were in a closed off section from the rest of the seating floor. The one of the hostess was rude. But our server was great and good looking. The food was alright. I had the crab cakes.

It’s alright. I came on a Friday afternoon to try there infamous porkchop deal. On Fridays they have the lunch cut pork chop with mashed potatoes/or fries and home made apple sauce. I came in wasn’t greeted, the hostest just chatted amongst themselves. I sat at the bar and waited for the bartender to come my way, that never happened. So after flagging one down she was quite nice and informative. She helped me decide on a drink. I got the pineapple and ginger mojito. It was actually really good. Someone brought out the food and got mine and the two gentleman next to me meals confused. He also tried to just get me to eat the other guys food… ummm no thanks. I ordered my food the way I wanted as did he. So the kind sir hand me his plate(which was supposed to be mine) and we kept it pushing. So as for my pork chop it was… eh. I feel it was missing something, like flavor. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, or my expectations were too high. The fries that I got to sub the potatoes… think of a small mcDonalds fries, with a little seasoning on top. All in all my experience was OK. It wasn’t the worst, it wasn’t the best, and I would give them another shot, just not at the bar.

We ate off the Houston Food Bank menu and it was delicious. The steak was cooked perfect and the salmon was very good. We enjoyed it and the service as always was great. Tip…pre drink. A glass of house wine is $ 14…the recommended red is $ 18. We decided to drink water and go buy a couple bottles of wine later instead.

Came in on a Saturday night with family and decided to treat ourselves to some pork chops with the exception of my brother who had the steak. We got the escargo and tuna tartare for appetizers. For sides we got the au gratin potatoes, mushrooms, asparagus, and macaroni n cheese. Everything came out great and the service couldn’t have been better. Typical 5 star Perry’s experience. The dinner portion of the pork chop was enough to split for two, especially if you get an appetizer and soup/salad.

Note: this review is focused on the Friday Pork Chop Special at Perry’s. Perry’s is in Town Center Sugar Land. Perry’s has valet for $ 3, but there is a free parking garage right across the street. The staff and service is professional and the restaurant is pretty quiet and warm. Every Friday 11am-4pm, Perry’s has a Pork Chop Special — $ 13.95 for a lunch cut of the usually $ 37.95 Perry’s Special Pork Chop. I ordered the special along with a side of grilled asparagus. The pork chop is definitely one of the best values I’ve gotten at a restaurant. The chop itself is HUGE. Usually, the waiters explain to you the cuts of the chop and which they recommend to eat first — make sure you follow this! The chop is a very rich cut, marinated with garlic and served with applesauce, and the meat is extremely tender and flavorful. The asparagus was grilled and served really well, my only complaint was that it lacked a bit of flavor and definitely benefited from some s&p(actually it tasted pretty good with the applesauce too!). In the end, the pork chop definitely comes across as a dish that’s worth $ 25+, and is an absolute steal at $ 13.95. I’ll be back some other Friday!

Location is pretty solid. Smack dab in the middle of Sugar Land Town Center. While it might be a bit difficult to locate parking in that area if its your first time parking is generally available if you go to one of the parking garages. They are free of charge and generally have space(just perhaps not during peak times on weekends) The interior is nice. Perry’s generally all have the same décor but everything is really nice and pristine. Bathroom is clean, nothing to complain about. The service is superb, as expected from an establishment of this caliber. I had the pork chop deal that they serve on Friday lunches. It was pretty good. Definitely on the heavy side though(may food coma after). The complementary bread is well made and worth the taste. With all that carbs and the pork chop, there is no way you would leave hungry. Def. worth the go. On a whole, worth the go. It’s pricy if you just get the ordinary dishes that they have but the pork chop deal is very worth.

Why come to Perry’s for lunch on a Friday? Because Pork chop! That’s all you have to know. $ 14 specials on Fridays only. I’d recommend you to make a reservation at least a day ahead. That means call in and reserve by at least Thursday! You don’t want to be the one waiting in line for an open spot when you’re hungry. But if you have created a rsvp, then you’re in a treat for an awesome meal! This is a lunch portion of what the regular pork chop costs($ 30). It’s very filling and you may have leftovers coming from a big guy like me. I usually try to lick my plate clean when it comes to food. If you don’t believe me, just watch! I came in with my coworkers one Friday to enjoy our pork chops for a reasonably cheap lunch and it was awesome! I’d do it again if service was a bit quicker. We had to rush back to the office because of the lunch crowd. Yes, even when we made our reservation. These chops are going to take some time to cook and I’m willing to wait for that to roast, because it’s going to melt and find it’s home in my belly!

Came here for my moms 60th bday. It was wonderful! Filet mignon was on point. Lobster bisque was slightly salty though… Mom ordered the seafood kebab special which came with an assortment of fish cuts and priced affordably compared to the rest of the menu. Service was friendly and attentive. Will definitely return for a special occasion

Service here is horrible. Walked in on Friday to try and have lunch without a reservation(first mistake) Hostess«we have no room, do you want to try our lounge?» Me «can my baby sit at the table?» Hostess«excuse me?» Me «the tables are high do you have any lower tables?» 2nd hostess«no ma’am they are all high in there» Me *goes to look* Me *comes back and gets back in line* Me «there’s booths in there» Hostess«yes ma’am» Me «so my baby could sit at the table» Hostess«yes ma’am» Me «but you just told me he couldn’t» Hostesses *blank stares* I felt like I walked in carrying a hump back whale and asked them to play show tunes on a tuba. I wanted a rare lunch opportunity with my husband and son. I’ll go to the Katy location next time.

What’s a great place for a fancy yet cheap Friday lunch? Perry’s Steakhouse! Well, unless you are a vegetarian(Why would you go to a steakhouse in the first place?), because I’m talking about Perry’s awesome Friday lunch specials! The star Friday special is the pork chop lunch for only $ 11.95. Aside from the complimentary bread and butter, this lunch special includes mashed potatoes, applesauce, and a MASSIVE cut of pork chop. Like it’s so MASSIVE, that I didn’t find anybody around my table who actually finished his or her cut in one sitting. Because the rest of the family is getting their own pork chop, I went hipster and ordered the fried shrimp lunch instead. Pretty good but nothing out of ordinary, and I got jealous when the MASSIVE pork chops arrived. Good thing nobody could finish it, so I got a taste of the chop too! No matter which lunch you ordered though, pork chop or fried shrimp, the entrees were certainly well-done! You definitely get the bang for the buck, so if you happen to have a long lunch break or is on a vacation day, I challenge you to finish your whole pork chop in one sitting here!
