I used to frequent this location many moons ago when I lived up in the Hills behind the baked potato. Back then the staff was fast and fabulous and friendly … but that was back in like 05– 07′… NOW… not so much! In fact the last time I visited this location which happens to have been last week, I had just finished up a furious shopping excursion at the local Urban Outfitters and was not only famished but also REALLYREALLY had to pee! I was with a friend who was already in line and ordering her food. I asked CARLOS the sandwich man if I could have the key to relieve myself before I ordered my sub so I wouldn’t be hindered by my obvious need and pee pee dance… he informed me that i could NOT have the key until I had ORDEREDANDPAID for my food. ok WTF. CLEARLY I am going to order some food A**H*LE! Despite my anger(and because a chick came out of the back and handed me the key) I wizzed and then got my food… BUT wait… it gets better!!! A few minutes after some other chicks walked in off the street went straight to the cashier and asked to use the bathroom where she was promptly presented with the key. NOQUESTIONSASKED. AND do you think she ordered anything? NOT a shred. Long story short? I Will NEVER patronize this location again, keep it real Los(er)

They weren’t even busy but they forgot to put cheese on my sandwich! And forgot to give me my dressing on the side. The workers looks very unhappy. First and last time at this subway !

Worst ever. If you enjoy waiting and have tons of time to kill please feel free to come to this Subway. Every worker was chatting, laughing, while I was there standing and waiting for a long time. No eye contact. Nothing. A simple, we’ll be right with you, or just one minute we’ll be right there. I would have stayed. I left. On another note. The mom and pops doughnut shop next door makes really, really good sandwiches! ! ! ! I got the tuna sandwich. No regrets.

[Review #110] This review has nothing to do about food, but for their customer service. Today(11÷08÷14), we were on our way to Universal Studios Hollywood(from an unexpected change of weekend plans last night)… just before we get through the parking gates, my baby girl vomits(like the hurling effects from the movies), not once but twice. :-(H likes to be clean so the ickiness didn’t help. Thank goodness for Unilocal, which lead me to this 24-hour Subway. :-) Typically, restaurant restrooms are for customers only, but I found that they’re generally sympathetic to kids… however, mine was not only stinky but also sticky. I apologized profusely before asking to use their facilities & promised to keep our mess to a minimal. It took me almost 20-minutes to clean her from the neck down, & changed into clean clothes(as a parent, I always keep a spare change of clothes in the trunk). I wanted to pick up a bottle of ginger ale to settle her stomach but they only had Sprite, which was ok but they suddenly had a flood of customers & went next door to a donut shop that had ginger ale. Your sandwiches are cheap & satisfying… but today, you helped better a sick child’s day that was the pits. Her spirits were immediately lifted once she was cleaned. Thanks Subway for making my day…

A 24 hour Subway with your favorite sub is always great. When i get off late from work this is the only place that’s open. There are a few homeless idiots around at times though.

Two years ago, I used to come here 2 – 3 times a week during lunch(since I worked right across the street and loved Subway at the time). I want to say that all the employees and managers were super friendly and really made my trips here enjoyable. Also, one time I asked if they’d donate any leftovers at the end of the day to feeding homeless people around North Hollywood… instead, management prepared over 15 footlongs subs for my friends and I to give to homeless people around NoHo! Thank you so much for being so generous and kind! Testament that managers are humans too who are willing to help their communities too.

I was surprised to read so many negative reviews for this Subway. I’ve stopped there many times, only LATENIGHT, when on my way home from a late night in L.A. to Ventura. I stopped there last night at 4:30 a.m. and had the best experience that I’ve had at any Subway, and I frequent other Subways about 2 or 3 times per week. The store was pretty busy for 4:30 a.m. The girl who made my sandwich, Monique, was AWESOME. She was polite, helpful and VERY entertaining. Yes, one doesn’t usually go to a Subway to be «entertained,» but she really made my visit there exceptional. If you’re anywhere near that part of the Valley late night, you should definitely stop in. I’ve always had very good food and service there, and Monique is the BEST!

I am on crutches and didn’t have to ask for help. The girls behind the counter quickly offered to carry my meal to the table! Salad was great as well.

Can’t say this is that dope of a Subway because of the annoyances and inconsistencies. I am a pretty methodical person so that means I gotta hit Subway once a week for a cheap and somewhat healthy meal(one must offset all other unhealthiness). First off, parking here is ATROCIOUS. As in, good luck finding some. I’ve always had to park a block or two away and walk over because I also feel like the people parking there must suck as drivers. If you treasure your car then don’t even bother. Once you’re in the place, it’s a bit of an awkward set up. It’s very elongated and The cleanliness is lacking at times. Staff is kind of slow and even though they have 3 people behind the counter only one sandwich is being made at a time. They don’t hook it up on the proteins and I think I’ve even seen some of the avocado starting to mold(Eat Fresh homie). The major selling point is that it’s open 24 hours a day so you can go on your Jared-like binges as you please. Oh and they are doing the Creamy Sriracha trial(!!!)

I don’t usually write reviews for chain restaurants unless they suck. The customer service here isn’t horrible but it’s pretty damn bad. I work close to this Subway, so it’s a convenient 5 minute walk for me to grab a healthy lunch, but I constantly face horrid customer service time after time after time. I figured that they just hurriedly and sloppily threw around some veggies and ham on my sandwich just because they were busy during the lunch rush but even when there is no one around at 6PM, I get a sandwich that a dog could put together. 1 star for the $ 26-inch subways for customer appreciation month(lucky it is so cheap!) and 1 star for pity. For a chain restaurant, your food is never going to be amazing, but what you can do is provide excellent customer service that will drive better Unilocal reviews and more business.

I come here at least 3 times a week for either breakfast or lunch since I work like 2 buildings away. The sandwiches are never made«Right» in my opinion, and they are SOOOOOSTINGY with their vegetables especially lettuce or spinach. I actually had one lady there REMOVE chicken from my sandwich after she put it on there… and it wasn’t even like she had given me a full scoop to begin with. Employees definitely seem disgruntled. and only 1 employee there is actually friendly. Our office is thinking of boycotting this Subway due to it’s lack of decent subs, and its unfriendliness.

Is this place a training facility??! Every time I have been here(and it’s alot since it’s close to the office) there always seems to be either a lack of communication, lack of caring, or just plain horrible service. They seem to be stingy with the veggies, but over-bearing on the sauces. I ask for a little mayo which means to them three times across the sandwich, yet they give me literally 4 pieces of onion and the stare at you, seemingly waiting to see a reaction. I look back at them like, really??? I will have to ask for more onions and olives every time. The tomatoes are good if you don’t mind getting the end pieces once in awhile. Some of the daytime employees could use a little retraining. Other than that, it’s a subway, so I don’t know what else I could really expect.

i’ve had crappy service and mediocre sandwiches here before, but my most recent sandwich experience here was actually a-ok. granted the tiny and awkward parking lot is shared with fatburger among others so you’re begging for a fender bender if you dare enter, plus you’ll probably encounter some aggressive drunk or homeless or drunk and homeless guy before you get inside. and of course the usual deer-in-the-headlights look from the subway crew when you ask for anything that doesn’t fit their pre-portioned sandwich architecture. however, this last visit, the girl behind the counter actually constructed a sandwich worth eating. and the place is open 24 hours, which should give it two stars automatically. the next time i’m driving a rental car i may go back.

It’s a subway, nothing more and nothing less. It’s close to the Universal City which makes it a great location if you work in the area. You can almost walk there. However, if you work for Universal, you’d be better off going to the one in City Walk. The one at City Walk will offer Unviersal employees a discount. The sub here are below average. The employees don’t seem to care and are more interested in chatting than working. I always have to ask for more veggies because they never seem to add enough to even cover the sandwich. Sometimes, I get the impression that they are trying to save as much as money as possible by not giving out the veggies.

This is an awful subway. The employees are lazy and disinterested. My pet peeve — they leave the door open on the bread storage, so my bread is always stale. Yuck! Steer clear of this crummy subway.

All I have to say is 5 Dollar Footlong. Cheap, satisfying, reasonably healthy, and fast. This is far from the best sandwich you will ever eat, but for 5 bucks. I can’t complain. Jared sold me, and I eat fresh weekly.
