Absolute worst Hotel I have EVER stayed in, total flea bag, un fun, gross, disgusting, rude and GREASY place in all of Tahoe. Harrahs and Harvey’s is the only place you should go in that area. Mont Bleu is FULL of douche bags. Inside the Casino, and working in the casino. Rudest front desk person I have EVER dealt with, WORSTEVER. Total condescending PRICK. If you want to be harassed, told to be quiet, get puked on by some twenty something in a pink polo shirt, and drink weak drinks… Come to Mont Bleu! A shitty front desk clerk that looks like nerdy Asian Peter Griffin awaits you! WORSTSECURITY. The security harassed me and my best friend. Harassed. Crossed the line. I will never set foot in this shit bag EVERAGAIN. We booked the largest and most expensive suite, and apparently they expect only two people to be sleeping in it… It’s an enormous suite. We had two other hotel rooms in addition to the suite, but you’re in a large group hanging out, everyone is in the room. What do they care about what we do in the hotel room? Is there a Bed Time? Security came to our door for a noise complaint. They yelled in my face. They threatened me. They stuck their FOOT in the DOOR so I couldn’t close it. They threatened to kick me and all of my friends out at 2AM, I asked them where do you expect me to put six people at 2AM? Only one security guard was rational, and we eventually got him to talk the four other security guards out of treating us like criminals. I could not believe that we were getting a noise complaint we, were NOT noisy. Not at all. People were sleeping in my room. The room on the corner I think was being mistaken for our room. Two groups were getting off the elevator at the same time. The security was harassing them for being noisy. And then, they basically followed me and my friend to my hotel room. We are both tiny 5’3 girls. And FIVE gaurds ended up coming up to our room. All fat, rude, socially inept f*cktards. The security guards harassed us all night long. And then some fat nerd at the front desk named Doug who probably has no friends and takes it out on the world, treated me horribly. He was a condescending jerk. After spending hundreds of dollars on the room, hundreds of dollars for a table at the club, and hundreds of dollars at their fine dining establishment. They treat us like noisy 21 year olds? No f*cking thank you. The only plus side to this story is that we took the house at the craps table thank you very much Mont Bleu. My husband made more at that table that awful night to more than cover all we spent… Although the money does not make up for the total lack of respect. I think blind deaf people could do a better job running this hotel. And I will make sure everyone knows what a pile of sh*t this place is. …as we were leaving in the morning another security guard was literally checking on a room for a noise complaint… At 11:00 am. Get F*cking real Mont Bleu.

This is one of my favorite places to dance in Tahoe! There is plenty of seating in cool 70s style if that’s your thing too. I love the light up dance floor and the awesome music. The staff great too! Must stop by when you’re in town, and they have no cover and 2 for 1 drinks on Monday.

Anyone remember Vino’s in Reno? No, not Jungle Vino, Vino the Italian restaurant on Sierra Street between 2nd and 3rd Streets that turned into an 80’s night club at night? It was the sh t, like in 2005, and I’m not talking about old people reminiscing the 80’s but like 20-somethings and lots of women, because apparently, the dudes were too cool for the 80’s. Well, here you have a 100% retro club, not just the music but the décor including the old-school lighted disco floor. What is that? Go Netflix Saturday Night Fever. I guess the 70’s and 80’s are so old they can be hip again, like when I was a kid everyone thought the Beatles were the sh t. Now I guess, enough 20-somethings think the 70’s and 80’s are cool enough to hit this pop cultural immersion club. I went on a Saturday night minus the fever, bouncing between this, Opal the midget club with NEEDM, Non-European Electronic Dance Music, AKA sucky EDM, and of course karaōke up front. Believe it or not, Reno is the karaōke capital east of Japan, or maybe west of Japan. Seriously, I’ve been everywhere and apparently nobody has told anyone that karaōke is cool even in Los Angeles where you’d expect some young actress or actor thinks they could possibly be discovered singing karaōke well. Believe it or not, the best singers are in Reno. So in other words, the singers at Mont Bleu were Mont Blah, squeally, shrill, tinnitic cacophony or squeaky, mousy muffled pusillanimity. Unfortunately, Boogie Nights was dead. I saw the door man with a counter and either he had clicked 13 people or 31, I was a bit tipsy and didn’t know which way up the counter was. Then again, 13 doesn’t really transpose into 31 upside down. It was free with a promotional coupon being handed out by some dude in a 70’s lounge lizard suit and a poofy mullet. But you can just imagine that this place has potential, especially with the suckiness of Opal, and perhaps it’s ahead of the curve. Maybe EDM will burn out in Vegas, maybe not, but I can just imagine a 70’s and 80’s theme club in Vegas would be huge and a much needed break from all the hyped up EDM with European DJs with their weirdo accents. «It’s Electronic Dunce Music.» «Dance?» «Dunce, that’s what I said.» «Dance?» «Yah, dunce, dunce music.» «Dance, rhymes with ants.» «Yah, dunce rhymes with unts.» «No, DANCE rhymes with PANTS!» «Yah, dunce rhymes with punts. Unt I get paid in MGM Resort stock, because oder-wise I would be taxed 60%.» You seen the video of Deadmau5 giving people Über rides in Toronto in his McLaren 650S? Okay, he’s Canadian, but still, you get the idea of how much non-American DJs are making. I’m betting there will be EDM fatigue and the 70’s and 80’s pop party clubs will start popping up everywhere. I already heard disco skating is making a comeback. Say what? Watchu talkin bout Willis?

This place is SO much fun! They play great music and there is an amazing light up dance floor! There are cool areas like«The Love Shack» that can be rented out for bottle service. The staff dresses in 70’s and 80’s themed clothing and always look like they are having a good time! If you haven’t been here you are missing out!
