Stood around waiting for a shrimp tostada and after 20 minutes they came and told me they were out of shrimp It would be nice if they’d told me after 5 minutes instead of making me wait 20 minutes. Offered me a replacement next time I come in. Doubt I’ll be back. This isn’t the first time they’ve screwed up an order for me.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. They did not get our order right at all! My wrap was poorly done it fell apart before I even picked it up. I got an avocado chicken wrap and got maybe one piece of avocado. Basically my meal looked like they threw everything in there and did not bother with it. Never going here again our order was not complicated and we repeated it twice to the person taking our order. Yea I understand we went at a busy hour but if that’s the case hire more people to do a better job… We waited for a while and received crap.

Very disappointed again. I live very close and love El Pollo Loco but everything was a mess. I got a 3 piece chicken dinner and the chicken was pressed so much that it was dry and stringy. The tortillas were hard and old, inedible. Come on your a franchise. Someone needs to some quality control here. please

Just another Pollo Loco.
This one is not spectacular or unique in way but it is close and convenient… (Usually clean too.)
There is a lot of «foot traffic» in the area and from time to time there is a floor show with the locals doing their thing and looking for hand outs. (By doing thier thing I am talking about panhandling, not an actual show)
The staff in this location is pretty good although it seems that there are different faces here every time too.

I only go to this El Pollo Loco because the one on Ball/​Valley View is actually worse. First thing is I can NEVER understand the person on the drive-​thru speaker!
Second, about a month ago I ordered two salads. got home​.no avocado on it.
Tonight, ordered family meal with salad and no dressing. I guess I’m over El Pollo Loco!

My experience at this pollo loco was great! No complains. I came here on Wednesday afternoon I ordered a poblano avocado burrito, and a 2 piece combo breast and wing the food was fresh and hot. My burrito was well prepared, nicely wrapped and with great amount of salsa included! Staff was friendly, fast and positive attitude. No complains !! :)

I just ordered my lunch from there and asked for a shrimp avocado burrito with NO pico de gallo… I repeated myself like 5x and even checked with the guy at the window who confirmed there was no pico. I’m allergic and can’t have tomatoes. I get my food and drive away trusting that they would get it right considering I asked them like 6x. I get back to work and bite into my burrito and what do I get? A chicken avocado burrito filled with tomatoes! Super disappointing since this is NOT the first time that it’s happened to me. I go there quite often since I work close by but I think I’ll be eating somewhere else from now on. I even called to talk to them and there was no answer… Figures.

Service has never been lightning quick here and like all drive thrus they rank somewhere in the B range on accuracy of order but yesterday topped it all. I bit into my burrito and it was chocked full of iron or whatever screws are made of. I fought off choking and contacted the store. They asked me to email them yet somehow no response 24 hrs later. I had waited to type the review until after hearing from them but at this point that still hasnt happened. Crazy I can taste this time was a wood screw. Not good

Unbelieveable. Ordered a spicy chipotle burrito (my favorite) and a salad from the drive in. My burrito was broken and spilling out everywhere AND there was a long hair in it. They also forgot to give my wife a fork for her salad. I went in to get a replacement and heard excuses «were under pressure», «2 people didnt show up today» yada yada. They replaced my burrito and i got to the car and took a bite and it was bone dry. No sauce. I returned it and asked for my money back. El pollo has killer food but this location sucks. I wont be back.

I wish I could give this place negative stars! Rude, rude rude!
We got there at about 11 AM, on May 27, 2015. The girl that took our order was extremely rude. I asked for light dressing, the girl straight up rolled her eyes at me. I’m sorry, but if you aren’t a people person, DON’T WORK IN A FAST FOOD RESTAURANT!!!
They gave me the wrong dressing, fine, whatever, but when my fiancé pulls a hair out of his food, no just no. Disgusting.
He took it up, sat back down, and we could hear them talking shit, saying we were bitches from across the dining room!
Horrible experience, we will never eat here again!

El Pollo Loco y el Loco. true to it’s name we are crazy about El Pollo Loco! When I am day dreaming I see the «Ultimate Tostada»
My Fav: «Tostada»: Southwest Chicken Avocado, chicken shrimp avocado, chicken mango and of course the Ultimate double chicken Avocado! Yum Yum
Other menu items: Tacos, Quesadillas, grilled chicken, sides, soups, salads.
friendliness of staff: Ok
speed of order: Good
Quality of food: Great!
Quality of condiments like guacamole, salsa, lemon: Good
What’s not so good:
–Speed of service: during busy days and depending upon your order sometimes it takes longer then usual to receive your order.
–We arrived after 9:30 pm one night and they were wrapping up and didn’t seem very welcoming!
Other then that we love El Pollo loco food!
Tip: Love their survey coupons and coupons by mail!

This location is wonderful! Super friendly staff, food is HOT, which can be an issue at some locations. Quality is what is expected and I always get my food quick. Seriously, staff is always smiling and happy… and they don’t cheap out on you with the salsa! Not the best area of town but the location is great!

Why are there so many bad reviews for this location ?
Every time I come here, the workers are extremely friendly, despite my horrible attempt of speaking Spanish.
Food is yummy like always, and they have never messed up an order.
Salsa is fresh and delicious.
If you’re expecting a 5 star restaurant, go there. As an alternative to other fast food, I’d say EPL does a great job.

Visited this establishment again yesterday.
I was third in line and it took 15 minutes to receive my three piece chicken meal! 15 minutes!
I asked the staff where my order was and they ignore me (including the manager). I finally waved my hand in someone’s face and they acknowledged my existence. «It’s coming up.»
Riiiiggghhhht.
Adiós culeros! That’s the last time you will see this sucker!

So it seems that they close 15 minutes early everyday. So if you want your food from here. Make sure you arrive 30 minutes before closing. And on top of that, Some Latina Was giving attitude because I waited 5 minute’s for them to get on the intercom to inform me that they were closed early. Sorry that my job didn’t allow me to arrive at the employees time and not the posted close time. This shit customer service has to stop and plan on calling corporate.

Are you kidding me?!? They ran out of shredded beef? Forget this one! They screw up the orders a lot too but it was close to me. How do you run out of shredded beef when you are trying to promote it? She said they have another «meat» available, what the hell does that mean? Don’t you know what the meat is called? I don’t plan on coming to this one again!

Never a bad experience at El Pollo Loco. I enjoy their burritos more than anything. Their salsa bar is awesome though. Fresh Avacado Salsa is possibly the best thing at El Pollo. Their soda selection is limited here (no Freestyle machine. sad face), but tastes good. But the food in general is good, and I enjoy the service here, never had a bad experience with any of the employees.
–1 star for no Freestyle machine and El Pollo Loco’s current slogan: «Feel the Mexcellence» WTF?
*EDIT* I have NO idea how this review made it into the Spanish review section… WTF???
