A great family owned and operated restaurant. The food is excellent and priced in the $ 7-​$ 15 range. The wait staff is courteous and efficient. The salmon dinners are a special treat. Plenty of parking and seating.

Genuine, family owned Mexican restaurant. Great food, value and service. Off the beaten path, so always a table on a busy Saturday night (unlike the «other» Mexican place), but centrally located to downtown, Wofford and Converse Colleges and USC-​Upstate campus. Not far from the movie theaters.

Very pleasant staff and family owned. Would love to have more heat in the sauces and option for green or red chili on the dishes. Clean though smells odd in the entry way.

By far the best Mexican restaurant in Spartanburg. Everything we have tried from the special dinners section is great. If you normally order your Mexican food by number, please try something new. Our favorites are the Pineapple Salmon and the Burritos Mole. The beer is ice cold and served in a frosty mug.

I have eaten at Sierra’s perhaps 5 times now. If I’m going to eat Mexican in Spartanburg, it’s my preferred location. Greer and Greenville have better Mexican, period. But Sierra’s is a cut above for the ‘Burg. Ask for the salsa verde with your chips, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Very piquant!
The pasta with shrimp is always good, but my favorite dish is the chicken enchiladas with mole sauce. I’ve had these at the Hotel Colonial in Puebla, Mêxico, where they were supposedly created, and Sierras’ are better…
If you’re up for an adventure, try the homemade sangria. If you want s margarita, prepare yourself fir the standard green stuff.

I’ve been eating at this restaurant weekly for nearly a year now.
The food, staff, and owner are excellent.
I recommend the beef quesadilla, pollo loco, beef tips, and queso fundido.
(Also if you like spicey salsa they have some that is not listed on the menu.)
The prices are very reasonable. The cost per meal is typically under 10 $.
