Hi everyone, I want to share one of the greatest experiences of my life. For several years I had suffered from un-​wanted facial hair. I had been using tweezers each and every day and it took up too much time in the morning to get ready for work or any occasion
I had googled and found Pacific Permanent Hair Removal, and Met this Wonderful Lady Donna Spears. It was funny to me when I met her because I thought she would have a serious look on her face and very stiff personality, But I was pleasantly surprised By her Big Smile, and warm and welcoming personality and she was attentive to listening to me and she understood all that I was going through emotionally with my un-​wanted hair.
Donna was very informative and her treatments have made a Huge Difference in my appearance. The hair has been diminished, my scarring from tweezing has faded and I look forward to seeing her because she is very outgoing, friendly and nice. I enjoy talking to her about my kids, grandkids and my work. My confidence has come back, were I really see how beautiful I my skin has become. I can truly say, after all these months of being treated by her, that she has become a friend to me.

She made me feel unwelcome the first time I showed up. Very condescending and awkward. Felt like I never knew when she was going to snap… Does a good job with electrolysis, but customer service trumps everything with me.

Donna is an Amazing electrologist! I started coming to her a couple of months ago through a Groupon. My first treatment, I was very nervous, and even though I researched about electrolysis, I didn’t know what to expect. Donna was so understanding! She educated me through the treatment process and post treatment care. I’ve had such great results from her work! I had 12 laser hair removal treatments on my underarms over the last year, but there was still a lot of hair. Donna’s treatments have reduced the amount of hair in just a couple of treatments (significantly less than laser!)
Donna is incredibly skilled, extremely thorough, conscientious of the time you pay for, and her prices are extremely reasonable! Electrolysis is the only permanent method for hair removal, and I’ve been extremely happy with my results! Donna does beautiful work, and I trust her skills completely!

My time is incredibly valuable to me. I have come for treatment 4 times now and each time is a wait period of 20 minutes or more. The last time I came, I waited 45 minutes and when she finally came out she said she thought I had cancelled. Never did I cancel. She apologized profusely and said she’d get me in on time next time. That next visit, I ended up waiting 20 minutes after knocking on her door at 5 minutes past my appointment time and being told she’d be with me in just 5 minutes. The pricing is good, and the electrolysis does in fact work. If you’re willing to be patient and have enough time to sit around and wait, you should definitely go. If you’re someone who likes promptness and customer service, you might not want to choose this office. The only reason this is three stars instead of one or two is because the electrolysis did work.

If you know about hair removal, you have heard about laser and probably about electrolysis. If you dug a little deeper, you know that laser will achieve a moderate success rate on the best patients, that is, those with dark hair and light skin. By all means, try laser hair removal, and when you are frustrated with the results after a year, go to Donna. She’ll get you taken care of.
The difficulty with electrolysis is that it depends very highly on the practitioner skill. Not only is the effectiveness of the treatments skill dependent, the speed and efficiency also strongly depend on skill. So finding a good electrologist is critical.
Having been an electrologist, I am qualified to tell you that Donna’s skill is everything you are looking for. She is fast and accurate.
She also is extraordinarily attentive to your comfort during the treatment. She knows which areas of the body are more sensitive and is constantly checking whether you are adequately comfortable.
And she is concerned about your post treatment response.
Finally, she is diligent about not only charging you for the time spent doing the actual treatment, and does not «pad» the time with setup, or anything else for that matter. One time I had to stretch a cramp in my back, and she promptly stopped the timer. That’s conscientious.
All these add up to a first-​rate practitioner.
I’d like to address the review by «A.Y.» Donna will regularly take extra time to make sure that the treatment is adequate, and as a result, the time often spills over into the next client’s slot. In an ideal world, the treatment would be planned to exactly fit into the time slots, but there are simply too many variables. Donna could under-​book to compensate, but I would rather have her give me the attention, and I budget about an extra half hour for each session, knowing that the appointment may start late and run late. It sounds like A.Y. had an unfortunate experience, but my experience with Donna’s timeliness has been nothing like what A.Y. relates. Furthermore, I have always found her to be nothing but kind and gracious, so I was a little surprised to see negative words about her manner.
I’m impressed with Donna’s work and I think you will be too.

Extremely rude, not responsible, not punctual person. I purchased a Groupon and made an appointment a month ahead. When I showed up for the appointment on time, Donna came out 20 – 25 minutes later and told me that we need to reschedule, because she is «swamped with work». I was disappointed (because I needed to arrange a bunch of things to be there), but it is life, It can happen with everyone, I was trying to understand and we re-​scheduled.
Next time (I again left work early, my husband left work early to pick up our son — everything for that appointment) I was there on time, Donna asked me to wait for 5 minutes. 5 minutes prolonged 35 minutes… Then I knocked and asked how much longer I should wait? She was pissed off that I was dare to ask, because she was «SWAMPED HERE!»
Well, after about 10 more minutes of waiting she, eventually, let me in. She let me understand by all her words and behavior that I was not welcomed here, since I was not her regular customer and she did not have time for me. When I was asking questions, instead of answering them as a professional — she asked me back if I was even reading her website. Well, reading websites and talking to the professional is not the same thing and before customers become regular — there is always a first time.
Then, she was making comments like «this is pathetic» and «I am wasting my time». She yelled at me when I asked something. I walked out the door all shaking, because no one treated me like this before. This is unacceptable. Still, I was trying to understand and forgive, because we are all humans and sometimes can be not in the mood, even though it is not the reason to humiliate or offend other people.
We scheduled next appointment in three weeks. I was thinking whether I should go or not after the way she treated me (I was ready to lose my money at all, because at that point it wasn’t about money, but about a moral side of the story). I decided to come and give her another chance. I thought that she will be at least on time, but miracle did not happen. There was a girl who was already waiting for her for 45 minutes! After 15 – 20 minutes of waiting Donna came out and suggested me to return the Groupon.
She might be a professional in electrolysis, but this person obviously does not know anything about customer service or being polite and on time.

Donna is fantastic! She is professional, thorough and knows her stuff. I’m so happy I found her — I no longer have to pluck. I’ve had her work on my chin, lip and eyebrows. She has shaped my eyebrows beautifully!!!
I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for permanent hair removal. She is the best.

Donna is incredibly knowledgeable about skin care and hair removal, and skilled at what she does. Her rates are very reasonable for industry standards. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants electrolysis. She offers convenient hours for those who work too. I work full time and the only time that I can come in is the evenings after work.

Donna’s work is outstanding. She is meticulous from a medical perspective… very sterile and professional. I’ve been a client for several years. She’s treated my face and bikini line and recently my underarms which did not take as long as I thought. I am so pleased and would recommend her highly. Her work is amazing!
