I LOVE getting facials at Doris Dean Skin Boutique! Brandie is such a beautiful person and truly cares about skin and strives to make it the best that it can be. She makes each facial specific to my needs with great attention to detail. She is current on all of the latest technology and products which allows her to treat most conditions.
Brandie is very knowledgeable about skin and how to protect it or repair it. My skin looks so much better since I have been seeing her that even family and friends have noticed. She offers skin products that don’t promise miracles, but they actually do what they state. She doesn’t push products and only recommends what she thinks will help.
I am happy and confident to recommend Brandie to my family and friends because I know that they will love this experience and results as much as I do.

Lauren does my lash extensions and is amazing! She is such a perfectionist and takes her time making sure she gets each lash and they look full and perfect every time! Great value for all the time and attention… not to mention Lauren has such a sweet and caring demeanor. :) I highly recommend Lauren and Doris Dean!

Recently had an amazing service at Doris Dean. Lauren Williams applied individual lash extensions which turned out great. I was nervous because so many women look like they have applied a set of brooms to their lids. I asked for natural lashes that look fuller not fake and that is exactly what I got. Lauren worked quickly and expertly without a lot of chatter. I felt relaxed and cared for. The salon is an intimate and no nonsense space that is clean and charming. Easy to find with good free parking. When I am in town again, I am going back for a refill!

Lauren did such a good job on my lash extensions. She pays very close attention to detail and my lashes looked naturally full and long. My friends all commented on how they couldn’t believe I didn’t have mascara on! I wouldn’t trust anyone else!

Brandie takes great pride in what she does & really cares about her client’s needs. She knows exactly how to taylor each client’s specific needs, and the results speak for themselves. This is exactly why I have been going to her for the last 5 yrs …

I was referred to Queen Bee by several women about a year ago… For that, I am forever thankful! Brandie is absolutely a genius with skincare; making up her own little concoctions at every appointment! She always takes the time to listen to my skincare concerns and wishes, and proceeds accordingly… the end result being amazing skin! I am always excited about my facials, along with seeing the Queen Bee girls! If you’re having problematic skin, or just need a skin pick-​me-​up… this is the place for a fresh face!

I made an appointment to find out what my options were for some severe dark spots (sun spots?) on my cheeks and upper lip after being told by my dermatologist that I needed laser to remove them. I’m so glad I did because she told me that laser would have not been a good option for my skin type (I’m filipino), and instead educated me on what other treatments I could do both at the salon and at home. What a relief! I got a light peel, and after a couple of days, I could already tell a difference! I ended up buying the package because I knew I needed more treatments to really get rid of them, and I love this place so much! She is very knowledgeable and really into her profession. The place is super cute too, and the appointments are very one-​on-​one. No other treatments going on while you’re there. I also finally bought product (only one — and she didn’t push it on me) that felt like it was actually specifically for my skin type. I always just bought what looked good at the store. Love it!

As a man-​scaping hetero man I have to be careful with whom I present my adonis like body to sans clothing for specific waxing occasion. I went here on the recommendation of a lady friend of mine from the Del Mar ilk. I needed my barrel-​like chest waxed and primed for a pool party on the following day, ensuring that every rippling muscle would be viewed in all of its hair free glory. When I arrived I was greeted by a young lady named Brandy (Spelling?). She asked what I wanted to get done and was very professional, which is usually a hard task for the opposite sex, especially when I disrobe. She also suggested I get an upper back wax, which in hindsight was a fantastic idea, since I cant see my back and didn’t know that I had a slight hair forest on my upper shoulder muscles. I must say that with my professional waxing I had better results than with the good olé’ Mach 3. I was able to go to two pool parties 3 weeks apart and look as glorious as ever. So, my male counterparts, if you need to get de-​haired and are scared of the possible social backlash, go here, lad, and you shall be treated as the manly man that ye are!

I am still very impressed by Brandie. She really cares about her work and takes a great deal of time making sure you get the results you want. Truly the best facial I have ever had. She is detailed and exact. Every time I leave I can’t wait to go back.

I have had 10 facials from Brandi over the last 6 months and my skin has never looked better. She is like a scientist when it comes to examining the skin and deciding what treatments are going to work best. I travel a lot and am exposed to different environments and lots of hours on dry planes. I don’t know what I would do without her. She is the best in San Diego!

This girl is awesome! If you have any acne or skin issues I swear Brandie knows how to take care of it. She is well educated on many different peels for different skin problems. I always feel comfortable with her even when I get a Brazilian bikini wax, and my brows have never looked better! I totally recommend her no matter what service you need.

Freckles are Sexy. Sun spots, not so much… after an hour in Brandie’s hands your face looks fresh, clean, radiant and free from the precancerous whatnots that happen from living in So Cal. Her esthetic services are both beautifying and therapeutic. The O2 facial makes my face feel and look refreshed. The peels help remove the build up of excessive dead skin cells while reducing the sun spots that mottle my mug. Brandie is very professional and has incredible bed side manner. She creates a very relaxing and comforting space while getting the job done. Heads up on the peels… as they do what they say they will do, PEEL! I looked a but ragged one time but my skin was never better after that.
