Really like the clothes — but it sucks that they do not carry any plus sizes in the store! But you have to go to the store to order plus sizes (so that they ship for free).

J. Jill seems a store whose clothes are designed for women «of a certain age.» I really struggle not to think of it as an old lady-​type store, because I’ve bought things from here… and what would that make me? Yeah, so let’s stop this train of thinking right now.
Honestly, this store does have some beautiful items; I especially like some of their sweaters. Many of the clothes aren’t particularly form-​fitting, which could be where «old lady» reputation comes from.
This is a good place to stock up on some basics, especially during sales. There are some excellent deals to be had. In fact, I just scored a great deal on a long black velvet skirt and a dressy top (needed for my husband’s post-​holiday holiday work party). Not only were both items heavily discounted, but were an additional 50% off. Got an outfit for $ 30.
And holy vanity sizing, Batman! I gotta give props because this must be the only store on the planet where I fit into an XS petite top (and that top was form-​fitting — no old lady look for me!). Whatever size you wear, you’re guaranteed to be at least one size smaller here.

Really trendy clothing here. More than their clothing, I like the scarves, earrings, and bangles. Their accessories really make an outfit look great. Pretty expensive, so watch out for sales to get great deals!
