Pros: + Seemed good Cons: — Was closed… permanently! This place closed! Permanently! They might switch locations. Went in today with a co-worker and we saw a sign that they had closed about a week ago because they lost their lease. Rated it four stars just because it looked good. Sadly, I will never know…

I’ve been going here for years and have tried just about everything on the menu(except the sweets, more of a savory person actually). The dogs are good, fast, cheap, and done with a wide enough variety to keep you interested. Don’t skip the fries either, consistently top notch. The French Dip sandwiches are also great if you want something a little different. Favorite dogs: West Virginian, Dodger, and I forget the name, but it has a red onion sauce. Great stuff all around and friendly staff. I call my orders in advance to save a bit of time. Great place!

I went here for the first time last week. It is a very small location, it makes you feel like you’re ordering at a sports concession stand. I ordered the Chicago dog,(if you don’t know hot dogs, a Chicago dog has very specific ingredients and is easy to screw up) and it was awesome. The prices are really cheap and they had ads for deals on certain days. Definitely a great place for families, just keep in mind that since it’s a really small place that seating is limited. They even have authentic stadium seats! and not just from the Dodgers(though it is mainly a Dodger place). –Im giving 4 stars because it looks run down. It’s obvious they don’t put a whole lot of effort into the eating area(aside from the stadium seats). However, I’m honestly pretty excited to go back & try their other dogs/sausages. Its good food, go eat it!

Really enjoyed their Buffalo dog special. It was smothered in buffalo sauce and had blue cheese crumbles. So delicious and I hope it gets added to the menu. Our meal was really good and on Sunday’s they have dogs for $ 2.50! Also recommend their fried twinkies. If you’re a hot dog person this is the place for you!

First time here I had the West Virginia dog and the wife had a regular dog and it was good. The fries were over cooked tho. Not bad for what it is, I will come back.

SOGOOD! I found this place on Unilocal looking for a place that serves veggie dogs and they are amazing. The guy their recommended I got coleslaw, sweet onion sauce and brown mustard on top. Honestly the best hot dog I’ve had!

Good selection of dogs from the big names in the frank game. The daily special is a good option at 5 bucks. you get the dog of the day with a order of fries and a drink. cool bench and stadium seats outside to sit and get your grub on. Had the Infield. classic chili cheese dog. can’t go wrong with that. The West Virginian was also good. basically a infield with cole slaw on top. gives the dog a good creamy fresh finish. I also had a buffalo dog… not a fan. When I get the craving for a dog I’ll be back.

The dogs are some of the best I have ever had. An intersting variety and options to customize. Weekly specials on Tuesdays and Sundays. The counter service is courteous, prompt, and friendly. They genuinely ask you to enjoy your meal. These people care about the food, the business, and their customers. Try the deep fried Twinkie!

A solid grind in the wall hot dog place. They have specials everyday where you can get a hotdog coke and a drink for five dollars! Great deal for the area. Great atmosphere with historic bleacher décor. Would recommend

Great place to get a good quality hot dog! Small little location to grab a simple and quick lunch. They have a great variety of hot dogs/sausages as well as French dip and pastrami sandwiches. I have tried the sandwiches but was not impressed, but the hot dogs are amazing.

Obsessed with their Brooklyn pastrami dog. We take it the extra mile by bringing our own jalapeño cheese to dip it in. But it’s amazing without that! Smothered in Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and pastrami and served on some kind of sesame seed bun — this hot dog rocks my world. Every. Single. Time.

This little hole in the wall has some amazing pastrami. Most certainly worth the stop. The chairs are not the most comfortable but do understand the ambience. Affordable and parking is easy.

Its crazy that this was my first time here. I always wanted to try this place when it was The Dip but never had. My boyfriend wanted a hotdog so he got 2, a pastrami dog and a Chicago dog… he liked them a lot. I finally tried a Turkey Dip here and it was great. We got a free deep fried Twinkie, a lovely novelty. I will be back.

This is a fun place but it has issues. It began as a French Dip place called The Dip. After that went down hill it reopened as a gourmet hot dog place. They offer a creative array of dogs, from a Chicago Hot Dog to a great Chili Dog to some really special(and expensive) imported sausage dogs with an imaginative mix of toppings. But it is hard in LA to spend $ 7.00 on a hot dog, especially at a stand. So began having specials(two dollar Tuesdays and Sundays, Dodger Dog Mondays…). This brought in crowds but unfortunately the management used these days to get rid of the older buns. So their most loyal customers were eating really dry and crumbling bread. Two other downers… the sun shines right in your face for most of the day, and there is a problem with pigeons. Other than that the dogs are good and the counter service is friendly. Go on a specials day to try it out. Then you can buy two or three to find a favorite. I like the Chicago, the New Orleans, and the Spicy.

I remember this place as the dip. I was happy to see that they brought the french dip back. I love it double dipped or submerged. I also tried the corn dog and chili cheese fries… great, great, GREAT! We sat in the car because they only offer outdoor seating and it was just too hot out.

So glad we stopped here on our way back to the Bay Area. It was quick, the prices were good and the food was AMAZING. On top of all that, the staff was sweet. Definitely coming back when were back in town!

I’m an East Coaster living in LA who’s well versed in ballpark foods. The Infield has the best dogs outside of NY. And I’d dare say even in NYS. When you come to LA people say go to Pinks for hotdogs. I went to Pinks once and punched the guy who recommended it to me. Overrated and underperforming. Infield is where you get hotdogs in LA. Authentic ballpark seats and damn tastes dogs. Brooklyn Pastrami dogs are king.

Authentic Dodger Dogs without having to leave the Valley!!! Cool little venue with real stadium & bleacher seats. Everyone always looks like they’re enjoying themselves here enjoying the simple pleasure of eating outside, a fresh hotdog with any condiments you can imagine, even the pigeons keep you company! I love a Dodger Dog with cheddar cheese and ketchup, a bag of Fritos and a Coke in a glass bottle. I think it’s cash only so come prepared. There’s a few places to park in the lot directly behind. Or meters on Ventura. I’d call this a great hole in the wall place but there are no walls, just a roof!
