Via Tribunali

I was really very dissatisfied. We came for the happy hour and got there at 5:40 for a 4 – 6 happy hour. The place was completely empty, so we sat at a table, were served and decided to order from the happy hour menu, which was, two silly appetizer dishes, and two choices of wine. We were then told the happy hour was confined to the bar, how rude, no posting any where of where to sit for «happy hour». We ended up sitting on stools in front of the place. It was a tiny bar area, not very comfortable. The happy hour menu was a literal joke. The non-​happy hour food was overpriced and the food we ordered was really frankly less than adequate and the $ 5 Proseco was truly a $ 5 proseco. Way to not put your best foot forward.
Happy hour, by the way, is a way to bring you in on an off hour, and show you how great a place is, so you come back and regular times, I do not plan to come back at any times.

Order a happy hour margherita pizza and a half carafe of wine and you’ll be set. Love this place.

This is my local go to spot for great pizza and the occasional negroni. The bar tender Jessie is always on point, and the food can’t be beat.

If you can’t check back to see how your customer/​guest is enjoying the meal I believe no tip is warranted. I don’t understand how someone can NOT do their job. The pizza was ok. I think it needed to be hotter rather than luke warm. Very attractive place but lacking in professional service for sure.

The food was not bad. Simple, and had flavor. But oh my goodness was it overpriced! I’ve had plenty of misses on delivery, but this was roughly double what it should have cost. A tuna salad with «Italian tuna» was basically just half a can of albacore dumped onto a very lame and tiny salad. The burrata – usually had bread, but I can’t fail it, because it was pretty good. The lasagna was good, not great. But those three things for $ 67? Unreal. Suffice it to say I was expecting more.

The pizza is amazing. The wine selection is wonderful. The atmosphere is intimate and lovely.

Has to be one of my top 5 pizza in the world. Thankfully there are now a few more in the Pacific Northwest one can go to. The pizzas are tangy delicious. It’s rare that you can find a pizza were the sauce really tastes like a tangy tomato and the crust is crisp yet fluffy. Perfection!

Prosciutto Crudo tasted great, but it wasn’t very easy to eat somehow. I totally love thin crust pizza, but the crust wasn’t crispy enough to hold up the toppings. I would have loved it better if it was a little bit crispier. It was hard to read the menu either in the dark. I guess I’m getting old!

Good, fresh pizza with a traditional Italian feel. Can’t really order what you want on your pizza and you have to choose from their pre-​selected combinations. That would probably be the only thing I didn’t like but I was satisfied with my veggie pizza. Super thin but somewhat crispy crust with fresh toppings was filling and tasty. I’d go back if in the area again.

This little joint in my new neighborhood gets a five star rating due to the sheer deliciousness of the pizza, excellent service (I sat at the bar) and cool atmosphere.
The bar staff was super attentive and fun. They were totally cool about customizing a pizza for me and the pie was amazing – perfect crust, right proportions of fresh ingredients. Cutting it with scissors is fun (and smart – perfect slices). Naturally the pizza is great cold, too; I’m eating leftovers for breakfast right now.
So, if you’re in need of the world’s most delicious white pizza, ask for the «Jezebel», which is now on the secret menu. Perfect crust + olive oil, garlic, goat cheese, mozzarella, kalamata olives and basil.

Wow, good rustic style food– calzones and pizza! The cocktails also look promising, and everyone enjoyed theirs on our table. Service was very attentive even near closing hour on a Friday night. we ordered Puttanesca and the Funghi pizzas and the salami calzone– and the food was spot on. The calzone was stuffed with the finest cheese and spicy salami. The favorite cocktail on our table was the flatliner– must have for coffee lovers.

This place was great. The waitress we had was very personable and talking about ours and her summer plans and made it a great experience. The food was very fast and delicious! One of the best places for pizza in Seattle! All of the pizzas are signature to their restaurant and their appetizers are great as well! I would highly recommend for a date or for a group of friends to go to Via Trib.

The pizza here is quite authentic to what I had in Italy. They even have «hot oil» which I highly recommend over pepper flakes. Every pizza I’ve ordered so far was great. The calzone is huge and tasty.
Get the blood orange cocktail. On happy hour. Fantastic.
Staff here a very friendly and remember us, even which wine we tried last time.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The atmosphere is great, the pizza is incredible, their beer is good and they have a rotating selection to keep things fresh. Keep in mind, though, that this is not your standard pizza. It is a very thin crust and served uncut. My strategy is to cut it into strips and roll them up. All said and done, though, the ingredients and their execution combine to make for the best thin crust pizza I’ve ever eaten.
If you decide to go, make sure to save room for the Nutella calzone. It is probably the greatest dessert ever created. It’s their standard pizza crust filled with Nutella, baked crisp and topped with powdered sugar, fresh fruit, and more nutella. Simply amazing!

The pizza here was amazing. The crust was perfectly crispy and the topping combinations are exciting and delicious. It’s one of the best pizza places in Seattle.

I love everything about this place. The ambience is spot on for an intimate conversation or quiet meal. The food is fantastic and easily the best neapolitan style pizza I’ve ever had. It rivals what you find in Italy. The roasted tomato caprese appetizer is delicious and the wine options pair perfectly with the pizza entrees. Try the Via Tribunali with both arugula and prosciutto; its amazing.
The pizza comes out uncut, like they serve it in Italy. Ask for a pair of scissors to cut slices.
This is my favorite restaurant in Seattle. A must try.

I really just want to gush for a moment. Via Trib just makes me happy. Their $ 6 Happy Hour is outstanding. My favorite is the salame, chewy crust, bright tomato sauce, savory salame, mmmm SO good! Such a great deal if you can get there between 4 – 6! Definitely worth the early dinner time!
I have never had a pie here with a soggy crust!
Service is always attentive and expedient. The pale ale they have on tap has this wonderful floral note that I just love, if anyone knows the name of it, please let me know!

This is the second Via Tribunali I’ve been to. I really enjoyed my visit to the Capitol Hill location and the two are very similar: dark wooden interior, wood fire oven, and a menu that boasts all possible creations involving traditional, thin-​crust pizza. The pizza is good, but I prefer my New York pizza. They don’t cut up the pizza into slices, but you can ask for scissors and cut it up yourself (which is much more effective than a pizza cutter!).
At 7pm on a Friday, the place was busy but our party of 5 were seated promptly without a reservation. The layout and the fact that there’s a pizza for just about everyone make Via Tribunali great for big groups. I can’t resist ordering the burrata every time I come here. It’s so simple (just an Italian cheese with mozzarella and cream, and fresh tomatoes on the side) but it’s so good! It’s definitely my favorite thing on the menu and you can ask for some flatbread to go with it… Yummm.
The service at this location left much to be desired. Our waitress couldn’t seem to care less about being there and our water sat empty. The booth was dirty, leaving my dress smeared with tomato sauce and pizza dough after I sat down (ugh). There was also more tomato sauce and pizza dough on the ground, under the table (which I understand would be hard to clean up). This and the waitress’ attitude definitely put me in a bad mood for dinner. Thankfully the burrata and pizza came to the rescue! If you’re really hungry, you can easily finish a pizza by yourself. Otherwise, ordering a few different ones to split is probably a better way to go.
Verdict: yay burrata! Meh pizza (great if you like thin-​crust pizza! I prefer my NY pizza). Solid place to get dinner with friends if you can’t decide on where to go.

We came here with a big group and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The service was great, with the staff offering good recommendations.
I had the Via Tribunali (house special) which was a mix between a pizza and salad, with ricotta, arugula, sausage. It was amazing (photo included).

This pizza consortium turned out to be an excellent choice for an evening of good food and drinks!
*WARNING* Be ready for pizza at its finest! The pizza here, mimics, if not bests those of Naples, Italy. I had the opportunity to spend 9 weeks in Rome and Naples (pizza capitol of the world) on business and was exposed to the most renounced pizzerias. I don’t profess to have the most distinguishing tongue for Italian food, but I do know good food. Let me tell you. Via Tribunali is on the same level as Italian pizzas.
In fact, via Tribunali is named after the famous Neapolitan street that houses the majority of famous pizzerias in Naples. It is by no accident that this spot has chosen it’s name as such.
My S.O. and I had dinner in the bar with a round of happy hour drinks; a $ 3 Genesee beer and a $ 10 carafe of white wine. Both drinks hit the spot on such a warm day. We followed that up by ordering a Caesar salad to share and 2 pizzas: the Puttanesca and the Spaccanapoli.
The Puttanesca had a good balance of saltiness (contributed by the capers and anchovies) and a light spiciness. The dough was extremely thin and authentic to traditional Neapolitan pizzas. Overall, this pizza was great. What made this pizza even better, was alternating slices between the Spaccanapoli pizza. I ordered the Spaccanapoli pizza with arugula and it was excellent! The pizza had ricotta and a subtle hint of olive oil. It was a clean, rustic, mild pizza and went well with the salty, rich Puttanesca.
This restaurant is great and is my favorite place for pizza in the US. It has traditional Neapolitan pizza and is cooked in a traditional Neapolitan brick oven. I left full, as is the trademark of a good Italian meal, and felt fully satisfied.
