We came for a bday party and was 17 of us. We tipped the dj . He forgot us 1:47 mins and multiple songers repeated at stage. After couple hours we argue and he plaid our song. Then the 12 of us couldn’t sing . At the end he called us, but even tho it was out bday and we reuested the song and waited ivan, told us we couldnt sign and we left disapointed even tho there was nobody else . But dont worry her friend closed the last song… I come here for every bday party. It would be our last :(

Oh man, I haven’t been here in YEARS and forgot how much I loved this place. I didn’t even realize they DID karaōke on Mondays! Well shoot, I’m going to have to make me a regular now since it’s so close. Their song selection is BOMB. Two books: one with an already quite expansive selection of non-shitty songs, and yet another, smaller book filled with all sorts of obscure enchantments. Björk? LOTS of Tori Amos, freaking crazy ass stuff I’ve never even heard of… It’s amazing! I was all sorts of excited. The DJ is super cool too, and doesn’t play favorites like so many do. He keeps you in your damn rotation, which is awesome and much appreciated. And they have a variety of adult beverages to enjoy. No rootbeer, but that’s okay. I needed water anyway. :-)

Unicorn’s pretty alright on a weeknight. The bartenders are friendly, and they have some interesting drinks. I like the 100% processed mac & cheese, because that’s my style. The dessert-y things have too much fat and sugar even for this overgrown child, and I would avoid menu items that are deep-fried — they’ve always had a strange burned grease flavor for me. I like the goofy décor. On a weekend after 9−10pm, this bar has a lot of out of towners or people who just turned 21 who think they’re experiencing«weird Capitol Hill.» There are usually some Sad Engineers who are kind of afraid of other humans hanging around as well. It’s always fun to hang here if you want to go watch a shitshow. This is also the kind of bar where men grab random women to get their attention(no joke, this happened to me and 2 friends as we tried to leave one night). If you’re single and desperate, I guess it’s a better option than most Seattle bars?

Their specialty drinks were way overpriced and so artificially sweet that I couldn’t finish mine and had to get a gin and tonic instead – which is sad because I always like to try a bar’s signature drinks. And the food was fine, they all had fun names but they were nothing special. Also, WHY are there so many taxidermied animals in this bar? It was AWFUL! Everywhere you turned near the main bar, there was another dead animal staring down at you. It definitely didn’t make for a fun environment. Once my group found a little nook down the stairs, there weren’t any animal heads but the place still didn’t impress me. It was very loud and sticky, definitely a dive bar pretending to be fun and cute. I would have preferred a typical dive bar because at least then, it meets your expectations. I don’t know how this place has 4 stars.

When I stepped in the door, I knew I was in for an experience. This is probably the most unique bar that I have ever been to. At first glance, the bar/lounge has a circus feel in the environment. There is a lounge area on the first level and I believe they serve food there. The drink prices are pretty standard and I remember they had a special drink of the day displayed. When you go downstairs, there is another bar and an arcade! It was pretty awesome and the crowd is mixed and diverse. It was a fun and interesting experience.

Unicorn is a little divey, but pretty awesome. It looks like a circus inside with its loud colors and décor. There’s an old school arcade game in the back that has all of your favorites from the good ol days. Before I got my nerd on, I enjoyed a delicious cocktail of unicorn jizz and the unicorn corn dog. Both were very tasty, but the corn dog was what stood out. It was split down the middle and stuffed with cream cheese and topped with sautéed onions, peppers and siracha sauce. I’ve never had anything like it before, and I liked it!

I was really looking forward to Unicorn, but it didn’t live up to my expectations this time around. In Unicorn’s defense, we arrived when they were having power issues. As such, their kitchen had shut down and only had the bar operating. A full bar always puts a smile on my face, but I have to admit I was disappointed I didn’t get to try the Unicorn Balls and Unicorn Droppings. All four of us in our party ordered a cocktail: The Banana Hammock, The Mustache Ride, My Little Pony, and the Unicorn in Pear Adise. I enjoyed the My Little Pony, but ended up trading with one of my female counterparts who wasn’t enjoying her Unicorn in Pear Adise which was much too strong for her tolerance. The favorite of the table was definitely the Banana Hammock. Loved that one! On the Saturday evening we popped in, the vibe was very slow and mellow. When we return the next time I’m hoping to take full advantage of the food menu. Unicorn Balls are certainly in my future on the next trip.

Interesting spot to stop in and take a gander. Very loud atmosphere(from the drinks, to decorations to the music). Perhaps if this were a decade earlier & in my mid 20’s still I could appreciate this place a bit more. Next time I think I will pass on the seizure educing circus environment.

Any bar named Unicorn is already a winner to me. After seeing the name, I came here with great enthusiasm and high expectations. Unicorn sure met and exceeded what I had envisioned. This bar was very down-to-earth and had a lot of personality to it. It’s really difficult to explain the environment of the bar, but I definitely liked it. The drink menu was insane and had a lot fun & sweet drinks. What made me really like this place was the bartender. Our bartender definitely had a lot of talent and she had the most impressive bartending skills that I’ve ever seen!!! I ordered the alicorn II(which tastes like liquid bubble gum) and few other drinks I was impressed how she made the drinks. She tossed, twirled, and muddled drinks, and I was so impressed how entertaining and how fast she did it. The drinks were also tasty and strong. Downstairs you can find even more quirky things and a few arcade games. I really enjoyed this place, and I’m glad I came here. I can’t wait to go back!

To say I have an unicorn obsession is putting it lightly. I LOVE unicorns. So when I was planning my trip to Seattle, of course this bar was on my list. The bar was ok. If I didn’t like unicorns as much as I do, it would have been a 4 stars but I was expecting the whole thing to be a unicorn wonderland and it wasn’t. It was cute but lacking mass amount of unicorn decorations you would think a bar called unicorn would have

Unfortunately, my first experience(and may be my last, only because I live in Hawaii and I don’t know when I’ll be back) wasn’t as I was hoping it to be. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing. I really like the colors and the fun names for some of their food and drink items. We did try their famous narwhal balls and unicorn balls with unicorn jizz to wash it all down. They were good, but missing that wow factor. The service(or lack of) was what dampened the whole experience. There were tables, booths, and seats at the bar. We decided to go for the booth, but what we didn’t know was that we had to go the bar to order our drinks and food. The bar was right behind our booth, but it was still a hassle to have to get up often just to order food and drinks. We also had to wait at the bar to be given our drinks, they would not bring it to our table. Though my first experience was just so-so, I wouldn’t mind giving Unicorn another go if ever I’m back in Seattle.

I asked a bunch of my friends that have visited Seattle in the past what’s a good bar to go to and they all said Unicorn. If you’re trying to get wasted and dance the night away, this is NOT the place to do it at. This is definitely a bar to grab a drink, lounge, and have conversations with your friends. There was a decent line out the door but it moved relatively fast. Our ID was checked about 10 mins in. This bar is very unique to me as I’ve never seen a bar like this before. The décor is very whimsical and carnival/circus inspired. There’s stripes & animal heads on the walls, arcade games, and pinball machines. For the duration I was there, there was a lot of pop music ranging from Britney Spears to Rihanna. The music was fun to listen to, but I’m a huge fan of ratchet music and I didn’t hear any when I was there. There was a lot of seating when I was there on a Saturday night. It was no problem for my friends and I to find a table to sit at. I only bought 1 drink and it was the famous Unicorn Jizz. The name is cute and clever and the drink was delicious! I didn’t even feel like I was drinking alcohol – which is very dangerous… A couple of those and I would’ve been good for the night. I’m not too sure what is in it but it was light and sweet. The total for 2 Unicorn Jizz’s plus tip was $ 24. I think drinks were $ 10 a pop. Like I said, this is a great place to chill and hang out. Look for getting wasted elsewhere(which we ended up doing btw).

Unique, interesting and fun bar to chill at. They have video games and pinball machines while getting your drink on. The interior décor is of the carousel imagination. Unicorn land and getaway I would say.

Disclaimer: I am super biased about this place being that I met my current boyfriend here on a random night out four years ago(pre-Narwhal times), but the Unicorn really is one of the best bars on the hill. The décor is a spectacle of bright colors, stripes, beheaded animals and bedazzled ATMs. Lots of fun things to discover including arcade games, a photo booth and seats made from amusement park rides. If it’s your birthday you can wear a ridiculous motorcycle helmet adorned with a large unicorn horn with… you guess it, more bedazzling. The drink menu is creative and entertaining and you can’t help but try the Unicorn Jizz(yum!). The food is a fun twist on massively unhealthy fair-fare…think deep-fried sweets and fancy corndogs. Really and simply it is a well-done themed bar that is just weird enough to be awesome. When we have out of town guests The Unicorn is always first on our list for a fun night and to date we have never been disappointed. Also the trivia night is rockin! I heart the Unicorn.

If a friend kept raving to you about a bar that was infamous for its unicorn jizz, how can you miss out on that?! This dive bar screams out your typical hipster cap hill crowd with good beats to dance to(but of course no one is dancing.) Also, the circus and decapitated animal head décor are definitely out of the ordinary but who even notices after having a few of those jizzes? They are similar to your AMFs, but do not fear, they are tastier than you think! I didn’t get a chance to venture downstairs or to order their many corn dog options but I definitely will next time! I mean, who doesn’t love a dog on a stick?! Just a friendly reminder, there is a $ 10 credit minimum. And don’t forget to complete your unicorn night out experience by wearing the unicorn helmet! You just gotta do it!

The venue is very circus-like and lively, which is very fun. On a Friday night, both the upstairs and downstairs were packed. I’m surprised our group was able to grab a table! Drinks here are $ 8 – 12, but their prices aren’t what’s interesting. The names of the drinks are! With cocktails called Unicorn Jizz and Unicorn in Pear A Dise, how can you not want to take a sip? Bartenders are surprisingly fast for having to serve so many people! You’ll see random people with these long jeweled hats that are supposed to look like unicorn horns, but in my opinion, they look more like long jeweled man parts? Correct me if I’m wrong… I did feel like a beautiful, majestic unicorn for a moment during the night. This cute guy waited until I was away from my group and approached me. We talked for a little and did exchange numbers. However, like unicorns, only those with pure hearts can really capture my attention. Bye, thirsty boys!

I love Unicorns – the mystical animal not the bar. A friend of mine thought that this was the perfect bar for me because it was called«Unicorn.» I appreciated the gesture, but I was highly disappointed. When he told me that there was an awesome bar and it was perfect for me, I guessed that it was a bar that was unicorn themed. He said there were Unicorn drinks, etc. I was excited because I imagined a place that had rainbow everywhere. Unicorn portraits, unicorn statues, unicorn shaped cups, etc. But it wasn’t. … This place was more like a circus. Only one unicorn head, the rest of the placed looked like a teal, striped, animal head filled bar. The drinks were served in regular cups, just unicorn«like» names which I will get to. The only drinks that were different was that apparently for your birthday, you can drink out of a boot. It used to be a real boot with a cup inside of it, and people drink from it… But I heard they changed it to a plastic one because people kept stealing the actual boots. And the unicorn hat was also what people wore on their birthdays. They wanted me to wear it, but to be completely honest, why would I wear a hat that EVERYONE else that has been there on their birthday, along with their friends have worn the hat? That does not seem hygienic and it says, «possibility for lice» all over it. The seats felt dirty, like you know people have sat in the booths. I didn’t want to move around at all because it just didn’t seem or feel like a clean bar. The food was alright. The drinks were okay. Kind of sweet, though. There was a main drink that my friend ordered for me, it was called, «Unicorn Jizz.» That does not sound appetizing. Please name your drink something like, «Unicorn riding on rainbows» or something weird, please don’t name your drinks OR your food anything that relates to urine or any type of body excretion. Edit:// Someone corrected me about the boot drink. I’m not sure what it is, I’ve never had it. But my friends in Seattle have told me that they changed it. So, don’t take word for the«plastic boot.» If you would like to try it out and clarify whether or not if they have changed the boot, let me know.

Super cool venue. I went here for a drink while visiting and really liked the décor. It was very hipster. It had a circus theme and their menu was also themed in the same manor. I think the ambiance was the main reason why I enjoyed this place so much. I didn’t try any of their food but it looks like perfect drunk food, fried with lots of calories. The drinks we did try were good and not badly priced, $ 10 per drink. My drink was on the fruity side and you were able to taste the alcohol which was great because I’m not a fan of a weak drink. If you’re in the Capital Hill area you should check this place out!

DISCLAIMER: I was quite inebriated, so my details might be a little blurry and vague. With that being said, Unicorn is one of the most COOLEST and UNIQUE bars I’ve ever went to. Being a tourist(or perhaps local) in Seattle, it’s a hidden gem that is a must visit. Unicorn is a carnival themed dive bar. The hook? Grab a couple drinks and prance around in a shiny unicorn helmet. What’s not to love? I don’t remember what exactly was in it, but the UNICORNJIZZ was tasty! Also, the bar offers a bunch of arcade games like skee ball. Overall, I had an awesome time. Unicorn is the cherry on top in terms of nightlife in Seattle. Excellent bar. Loved it.

Anthony Bourdain visited and said, «They have hipster-inspired drinks called Unicorn Jizz and My Little Pony. I don’t know about you, but I’m not trying them anytime soon.» I have to say, I don’t disagree with Tony B. often, but this was one of those times. I drank the KoolAid, or the Jizz rather. It was… well, if they existed… Unicorns that is… and they, um, well, you know… I think the cocktail is exactly what it would taste like. Super sweet, fizzy, and a little bit tart. The Unicorn Jizz is certainly not something I would recommend having more than one of(hangover central); or in my case a big sip — I talked one of my friends into ordering it so I could have a taste(he also has a Cotton Candy — sucker! — yum!). In the end, we all partook in the Jizz. Located in Seattle’s vibrant and diverse Capitol Hill area, the heart of the city’s LGBT community, Unicorn is just as appealing and inviting from outside as in. Very colorful, fun images, faux mirrors that allow you just enough of a peek at the interior you can’t help but be drawn in. Striped walls, twinkling lights, a very«circus» looking bar, assorted taxidermy adorning the walls — the place screams ADULTFUN of all sorts! I LOVE it! :-D People from all walks of life and super friendly bar staff! After taking it all in, and sucking down a few drinks, make your way downstairs to Narwhal. Another«circus» bar area, heavy metal bands rocking out the night I went, and loads of vintage and new quarter sucking arcade game and pinball machines(75 cents per play)! Even more fun! Overall: I’ve never been to any place like it. Definitely one of a kind! Simply Seattle. Simply salacious — in a good way. Simply must go. HIGHLYRECOMMEND.
