The staff here are absolutely amazing. The host and waitress were very helpful for our dinner service on Friday, so we decided to come back for happy hour the next day. The bartender was nimble and attentive and the Doctors Order was really tasty(and strong!). Excited to be visiting more often.

Yum! The vegan Mac and cheese really is as good as everyone says. Great option for vegan brunch with carnivore options as well.

Solid happy hour fair. Veg Mac n cheese was tasty, but too spicy. Wonderful bruschetta. Will be back.

I would give it a zero star for the customer service if it is an option. I came with a friend to order cocktails; I ordered a crown royal on rock with orange juice and a splash of lime juice and 20 mins later my drink finally came. It came in a tall glass with crown, tonic, lime juice(not exactly what I asked for but ok), and a little fly inside. We called the waiter over and said there was a fly only to hear«just say you want another one thanks». My new drink came 2 mins later with the fly still inside(please see pictures I’ve attached), I figured they didn’t even remake the drink. I am VERY disappointed on my first visit and is never returning again.

As most reviewers note, the atmosphere is very charming and cute. I felt relaxed even with the bustle around the café. I think part of this was because of our waitress. Our orders were taken promptly and curteously and she was very keen to note possible allergy-inducing ingredients. I had the brioche french toast and goodness… literally had heaven screaming in my mouth. The brioche they used was a bit lighter, probably because it wasn’t doused in an egg batter. Don’t get me wrong it still had some egginess to it as is the nature of a brioche. It paired perfectly with the butternut squash spread, caramel sauce, and bourbon syrup. The syrup is definitely boozy which was awesome, as a lot of places tend to say they use it and tastes like plain maple syrup. My friend had the tofu scramble and while that sounds boring they spice things up with a curry sauce. I will definitely be back to try that. Oh. Did I mention the coffee? My friend swears by their black coffee and I was very happy with the hazelnut latte.

To be honest, their fries were AMAZING. I don’t want to oversell them but at least to me, they were one of the best batch of fries I’ve ever had. They were crispy and crunchy but also soft enough. It pairs off with some ketchup and YUM. Along with the fries I got a chicken sandwich that came with a side of a pickle. The ambiance was very hipster and chill. There was a bar walking in leading to the seating area in the back. Tables can hold from 2 people up to 4 – 5 people. Restrooms are inside and accessible.

We came here while on vacation in Seattle — very glad we stumbled upon it! It is located on an adorable street where you can walk between several restaurants, all with cute décor and cosy interiors. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgable, and prompt with the service. We ordered the vegan mac and cheese and a lunch chicken sandwich. Both were delicious! I love crispy french fries and the lemon seasoning on the sandwich was very memorable. This place is very vegan/vegetarian friendly and looked like it would be a good place for a drink after work too(cute bar)

Maybe I’m not ordering the right things for brunch but the two times that I came here I thought the food was just ok nothing out of this world. I tried the Red Flannel Hash, French Country Breakfast, and Fried Duck Egg On Red Potato Hash. The French Country Breakfast is the worst out of the three. The entire dish was just too wet and a little bland. The duck was over cooked and even though the dish was wet, the meat was really dry. The service was fantastic and their coffee is definitely delicious. However, this definitely will not be my brunch spot.

I’ve been here a few times and always love it! The staff is fantastic and the menu always has something for whatever mood or craving you have. Today I had the grilled cheese that came with the hearty tomato basil soup. It was so good! Yum-a-rama! Perfect for a nice small bite. I’d like to come again with a bigger apatite and try some other menu items. The ambiance is really cool and the type of place that helps bring Capitol Hill to life! Enjoy!

Came here for brunch because I’ve heard good things about this place… and because it’s good to branch out and try new places. It’s a cute little spot next to Chophouse Row. I got the French Country Breakfast– brisket, duck confit, veggies(butternut squash, parsnips, peppers, onions), roasted potatoes, and a poached egg with toast. I expected a little more flavour from it. The potatoes were roasted well, but slightly under seasoned. Was a little one note, texture wise. But the poached egg was perfect. J got the Biscuits and Gravy with two over easy eggs and she seemed happy with her choice. I wasn’t in love with my dish, but I’d go back and try something else.

We were excited to come here after seeing the restaurant in Day of Gluttony: Seattle. The duck confit hash was our top of list choice and it did not disappoint. Lots of good flavor, crispy potatoes and generous portions of duck. It had a bit more salt than I care for, but not inedible. Our server was attentive and considerate of our cranky toddler, bringing him some bread to gnaw on while his fries were cooking. The OJ is freshly squeezed and delicious and their Chai is Morning Glory, my absolute favorite! A little less salt and a little more ventilation from the kitchen and you have a five star experience! Regardless of these minor negatives, be sure to give them a try!

Great brunch spot in Capitol Hill. I had the grilled cheese & tomato soup-absolutely delicious! It’s made with Havarti cheese which is always a plus in my book. Just enough food. My husband had the French breakfast-he liked it a lot & it filled him up. Coffee is amazing here-I just had coffee with their house made caramel syrup and it was perfect. My husband had a caramel latte and was more than happy with it!

Perfect for what it is: intimate, tasty, casual. Great for grabbing a quick drink or a full meal. Definitely becoming my go to place. Never have had to wait for a table here, always receive amazing service, and the food is delicious. If you’re going for brunch, I recommend the grilled cheese and egg breakfast sandwich with added sausage! If you’re going for a quick evening bite, I suggest getting the Brie.

Very inhospitable. I was going to meet a friend there this morning but despite the fact that there were tons of open tables they would not seat me until my friend arrived. So I was left to stand by the front door. No offer of coffee or anything. I was early so I lurked about for 5 minutes then decided I will not patronize a place that doesn’t care about their guests. I left. My friend and I met on the street and had a wonderful breakfast at a more welcoming eatery on the hill. THEY sat me right away. Great way to lose a customer. I’ll never go back.
