Pretty solid cup of Americano from here. I wasn’t looking for donuts but I saw the espresso sign on my way through Alki and figured I would check it out. I will definitely come back for the coffee and the donuts smelled awesome I just wasn’t hungry when I was at the store.

A great coffee house by the shores! Ordered hot chocolate with dark chocolate and it was amazing. The ambience of this place is very good, with classic books. People who like reading will definitely like this place.

This revire is soecifically about the Alki location. I’m giving two stars for the product and the staff who are professional. The three empty stars are for the rest of them. A barista, who was also said to be the manager(?!), was unprofessional to the point of rude. An email to Top Pot offices went unanswered. Too bad as this is a lovely location and store, but I won’t pay to be subjected to bad service. I’m glad they have other stores.

Went to top pot today. Out of doughnuts. What doughnut shop place runs out in the middle of the day??? Last time I was there they had very little to offer. Top Pot is not what it used to be.

My first trip to Top Pot donuts on Alki turned out to be a little disappointing. As with bakeries, the earlier the better! But on the day I stopped in, 2:30pm turned out being too late to have much of a donut selection, my photos show what was left. The staff was friendly, they got hit with a lot of foot traffic apparently with the great weather and they were cleaned out. The store itself seems really comfortable, even more than the high traffic Starbucks next door. The glazed chocolate I settled for was great.

Swarming with flies is how we found their doughnut case. While I was looking at the menu to order, my husband said«Oh my, the doughnuts are swarming with gnats». Sure enough, there was a clear swarm of flies in the doughnut case and ON the doughnuts — more flies than doughnuts actually. Never seen this problem at other Top Pots. The manager was not present and they never returned my attempts to contact them. Not going back.

Favorite spot – right on the beach, lots of seating, great place to get work done and enjoy one of Seattle’s best. :)

Salted Caramel Donut sounded to good to be true and was. Kind of dry donut to be honest. I also had a shot of espresso and it was bitter. My wife had wanted a donut all week and I went here because doughnut was in their name. Cool looking place but just did not do the trick.

Donut was delicious, we had the Bavarian Crème. Sweet, lots of crème filling! I also got a molasses cookie that was out of this world.

What’s with all the Top Pot hate, here? Lattes are yummy(ovaltine and dirty chai for me here), service is speedy enough given all the customers who hem and haw their way through line. The walk up window seems to have odd hours(I can’t ever seem to figure out when its actually open, so I always just swing inside and order). Baristas and doughnut servers alike are nice, friendly and efficient. The space is lovely and perfect for studying what with the free wifi and outlets galore. They offer sandwich options and juices too if espresso isn’t your jive. They also have this awesome fireplace that will be fantastic for snuggling up next to during the chillier months on Alki. A dozen doughnuts, though a bit on the pricier side, makes for a great treat and I always bring a dozen at work and everybody loves them. Plus, I’m always happy to get some of their soft serve ice cream with(yay!) sprinkles. And, bonus, did you know you can get soft serve ice cream ON a donut? Or is it the other way around? Either way — Top Pot is my salvation on Alki.

Saw plenty of Top Pot locations during my trip to Seattle and came across this one when visiting Alki Beach. I’m a big fan of old fashioned donuts and went with their Salted Caramel and Raspberry glazed ones. It’s everything you could ever want in an old fashioned donut + more. The texture was perfect and the glaze wasn’t too overpowering as one might expect. P. S. although their name implies, there is no pot in their donuts lol. I thought other wise in Washington, especially coming from California. Loved ‘em regardless!

«Defeated» our nearly three hour bike ride around Alki Beach because we stopped for donuts… but it’s all good :) Three stars because for me, the donuts weren’t anything too exciting for me, but their Ovaltine latte was pretty good!

So decided to check out Seattle version of the beach front out in Alki. While walking off some Spud along the beach. On the way back to the car decided get some doughnuts for desserts! Not your traditional dessert but dessert all the same. Woot! Woot! Friends were telling me that Top Pot Doughnuts is successful chain that only started recently and expanded with multiple locations around the city. This is one of the newer locations. Only after reading reviews realize at this property they don’t make them fresh on property. Still not like can get Top Pot Doughnuts I’m Vegas. I was excited check out the hype. The first time passed by looking at the display of different doughnuts. Dam feels like national doughnut day all over agin! I never went crazy since was the only one in doughnut mood. I got the raspberry glaze and Pink Rainbow. I enjoyed the raspberry glaze. The raspberry glaze was the key for me. Not sure if had doughnut like that with the one side entire outside has the glaze. The doughnut itself is pretty big and fluffy. Still moist inside and just that one doughnut was filling. Since not made on site not hot hot or taste like fresh out of the oven only negative. The pink rainbow never got around eating. All the doughnuts were looking really good in the glass display. Well organized by the type on plate, clear labeling, and eye appealing was on point. They also serve coffee plus assortment of cold drinks. They have little outside patio area that perfect chill, people watch, I enjoyed being endurance sports seeing runners or better different beach cruisers bike going up and down the street, or sit chill reading book over coffee for breakfast. The service was awesome. The staff was friendly and on top of it. Overall not much case off one doughnut. It was good. In the world of doughnuts nothing that blew my mind. Still if in the area in need of doughnut fix not hesitate for second stop by again.

Delicious raspberry donut. Great location for a chat with a friend and you can’t beat the beach ambience and vibe, not forgetting the gorgeous view on a sunny day. Plenty of seating with large group options.

Aaah! This defeats walks and bike rides at the beach but oh soo delighted that Top Pot is at Alki! Always great doughnuts and coffee. My fav is the Maple Old Fashion, Top Pot old fashions are incomparable. They have ice cream at this location. Wide open an airy space, clean, and good customer service.

This is our second visit to a Top Pot Doughnut location. Four of us stopped in for a snack after a walk along Alki Beach. We had four different doughnuts and some coffee. Doughnuts were fresh and tasty.

First time in a Top Pot and last! I would think working on the waterfront in a DOUGHNUTSHOP! You would have a smile on your face… I figured I’d let my ittsy bittsy clerk know it was my first time in a Top Pot. She was not amused. lucky there were 5 other completely oblivious youngsters to confirm the monotone of the place. Went to sugar my drip coffee and spent a good portion of my visit opening sample size sugar packs that had solidified in this awesome climate. Has the Sugar container become too mainstream? Finally… Coffee in maple bar in hand go to have a seat and it hits me… Literally! Right in the left thigh to be exact. This place is not designed for people who actually eat donuts. My thunder thighs will be in search of sweet, broader horizons.

Went there on opening day, as a pedestrian, with my hands full. Stood by the service window for what seem like ages to get a taste. Was just totally ignored for a few minutes by someone on the other side cleaning the espresso machine. Went inside and with 4 people behind the counter, everyone had something better to do than serve the only customer at the counter, with two incidents of having me passed off to the next. Got 4 of the raised doughnuts. BLEAH! Instead of light and flavorful they were hard, heavy and tasted day-old. Being that it was opening day I will give them another try, but only their cake or old fashioned doughnuts. I get restaurant work, especially opening day, so charitably they get a 2. If the were open for few months the service/product would be a 1, no more.

I am a fan of Top Pot, so I was happy to hear they opened a store on Alki Beach. The location is great, and it’s right by the water, so the view is nice on a sunny day. As far as the donuts, I don’t believe they are baked on site, as is the case for most of the Top Pot locations, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t delicious. I only get the old fashioned donuts, though. The other ones aren’t really worth it, in my opinion. Besides the maple bar, I can see why it’s so popular, but the old fashioned is still my favorite. The coffee at Top Pot is one of my favorites in Seattle. And it goes so well with the donuts! I typically just get their press coffee, but their espresso drinks are also good. When I came, the service seemed pretty standard. I didn’t have a bad experience with it as some other Unilocalers did, but I came on a Monday morning so it wasn’t too busy. And since it’s a new location, everything is nice, new, and clean. Hooray for more options to get Top Pot donuts and coffee!

The cashier was really nice! The drink I ordered was alright. But the barista who mocked me, wasn’t so pleasant. I was asked if I wanted whip, said yes then changed my mind and the next thing I hear is «oh I wanted whip at first but now I dont. Merp merp merp.» Ahahahahahahahhaha okaaaaaay, grow up.
