Ok, tourist spot — yes… but who cares! These make for a great grab and go treat while walking the market on a Sunday and are pretty affordable. I’ll admit the donuts themselves are not anything wild and crazy special but they get you with the hot and ready smell of deep fried sugary deliciousness which consumes the entire market when they are hot and ready. Who could resist? They offer several flavors depending on when you go. We got the assortment and tried powdered sugar, frosted with sprinkles and cinnamon sugar. Cinnamon sugar ended up being my favorite because these were still warm — YUM. The others they allow to cool before frosting and/or powdering. Cash only and be prepared for the line. When you’re in the market EVERYWHERE has a line on the weekends. Enjoy!

We were in Pike Place and wanted something sweet to nibble on so we bought a handful of dougnuts. Thankfully we had cash because they don’t take cards. I like that they keep it simple with a few flavors but if you’re hoping for something visionary to blow your mind, this probably isn’t the place that you seek. This is mostly sugar-fried goodness. Something to realize is that they don’t taste exactly like donuts either. Think of them as funnel cakes in doughnut form. We came back a few more times during our Seattle stay and were happy to find that if you come right before they close, they sell their treats by the bag for $ 5 or so. And you’ll probably always have to wait in line but never for too long.

While walking around taste testing at the Pike Place Market my husband and I stumbled across the Daily Doughnuts. I thought the small shape doughnuts were cute and I decided that I wanted to try them, so e hopped in line. We waited about 10 – 15 min. Meh. besides the nice experience with my husband and standing there people watching and laughing and just having a good time, these doughnuts were not anything special in my opinion. However, the lady working the cash register was very nice. I also thought the mini doughnut machine maker was cute. They only had three flavors available which were Maple Bacon, Chocolate with Sprinkles, and Powdered. We tried one of each. This was my first time every trying a Maple Bacon Doughnut. It was interesting. I’m not sure if I would get it again as I just don’t think I like bacon on my sweets. Lol. Sorry for all you bacon lovers. I absolutely love chocolate doughnuts with sprinkles(it’s my fav kind of doughnut), and powdered doughnuts are always good. To me these doughnuts were dry and had a little bite to them. By bite I mean when something is dry and it has that dry chew to it. Kind of like spongy. I thought they were going to be moist when you bite into them but they weren’t. Overall, these aren’t anything special. As far as trying them, this is my suggestion. If there is not a long line, yeah sure go for it, if there is you can keep walking. Not worth the wait in my opinion.

Nothing special to be honest although service was nice. The fresh donuts were ok, however there just wasn’t anything special at all about these. Especially when you get ones that have been sitting out for awhile… they really just taste maybe like some hostess donuts from the market. Also, sadly they don’t seem to have the maple bacon ones anymore which were the main reason I wanted to try in the first place. Only have plain maple. Would pass on these :\

Tasty little doughnuts and you get to watch them being made while you wait. Line is quick. Cash only but plan ahead because these are worth it. Definitely get the cinnamon! Wished we had ordered a whole dozen instead of just a half.

A machine that makes doughnuts by the hundreds!!! I’m in!!! Warm and fresh fried dough in a brown bag covered in powdered sugar is the best way to start your morning in Pike Place. As you take in a small bite of heaven covering your fingers and face with white powder and inhaling the aroma of sugar you can’t beat the feeling of not stopping at just one. I had the sprinkles and the glazed as well and they were great but the best is feeling like a kid eating a powdered doughnut and immersing yourself in the sugary mess! Don’t forget if you do the Savory Seattle tour to show them your card here for a discount!

Stopped by here for an afternoon snack, picked up ½ dozen assorted donuts. We got cinnamon sugar, powdered sugar, and the chocolate icing with sprinkles. We came on a Friday at about 2:30, and there was no wait. The donuts themselves were okay. The ones that had been sitting out longer were fine. My favorite was the cinnamon sugar, but I think it’s because those were the ones that were piping hot. They had nice crunch to them. I had wanted to go back and get more before I left a few days later, but never made it out that way again. Would I wait 20+ minutes in line to have them again? No. Would I wait 10+ minutes? No. Glad I tried them though.

[Out-of-Towner Review] Let. Down. You know when you let yourself get super hyped up about something, then in reality it doesn’t come close to what you imagined? Well that happened to me. I can comfortably say that donuts are top five in my book, so anytime there are supposed fresh ones being sold, I need to try them. And mini, everything is cuter when it’s smaller. As we waited our turn in line, I watched the machine make fresh, delicious fried donuts. Then came our turn and she grabbed about two of the half dozen that we ordered from the ‘fresh pile’. We ordered the assortment half dozen and out of that two were warm, the ones that were coated in sugar and freshly done that way. The others were cold. A cold mini maple donut is still okay, but not what a donut love truly wants. I know it’s a touristy thing to buy and eat, but at least they could have all been fresh an slightly warm. Put the damn things in a warming bin or something. Oh well, you live and you learn(and still eat the calories). I’ve never thrown away donuts, but we did this time :( Fresh is no where in the title for a reason.

Inside Pike Place Market, Daily Dozen Doughnut Company is easy to find amongst all of the shops since inside the market close to the sign where everyone tends to enter. As I was waiting in line I realized that they sell donuts by the dozen and ½ dozen. I momentarily freaked out thinking how am I going to eat that many donuts. Once I got closer I realized the donuts are mini(3 bites) and it’s actually pretty easy to eat 6 of them. The line moves quickly, probably because it’s cash only. So, don’t be deterred by a long line. I chose sprinkle donuts but there are also cinnamon sugar, powder sugar, and plain.(Who’s ordering plain, seriously?) The donuts are also pretty amazing, so yet another reason to stop by Daily Dozen.

Little stand on the top level of the Seattle Public Market Center that makes really delicious little mini donuts using an automated fryer right in front of you. Great flavors including Maple Bacon(so delicious), powdered, sprinkles, etc. and a no-frills service line that makes this place a total no-brainer if you’re in the market. Something like $ 5 for ½ dozen is a total bargain. Donuts were good(not walk-across-town-for good), and hit the spot. Entertaining to see the automated shaper /fryer /flipper /drainer working to. Beware: Cash Only.

This place is supposedly really popular and there are a lot of really popular and good donut places out there so I had high expectations. I got the assortment with 2 regular mini donuts, 2 cinnamon mini donuts, and 2 powdered mini donuts. REGULAR — I didn’t like this at all. I felt like I was eating clusters of oil. Parts of it was really hard and crunchy. Crunchy donuts anyone? CINNAMON — Not bad, not amazing. POWDERED — Pretty good! Maybe next time I’ll get all powdered. I like that they had the option to get assorted donuts. Since the donuts are so small, they sell it by the half dozen or a dozen. The line can get really long at times. I noticed one day, there was a line of 20+ people but the next day there was so line.

Line was not too long but since the donut are fresh it took a while. Their donuts are made fresh, they were all surprisingly good. I have had better donuts of course I’m from California. But the fact that they came straight to the bag seconds from being fried tasted great. Coffee was sub par. Overall was decently good.

This place is dangerous. Daily Dozen sells mini donuts so, basically, you can’t just have one. Daily Dozen is located toward the main entrance of Pike Place Market, close to the popular Pike Place Fish Market. Don’t worry, the donuts have no fishy aftertaste. I tried one of each, maple, maple bacon, powdered, chocolate sprinkles, and plain. The plain, chocolate sprinkles, and powdered were warm with just enough spongy action. The maple and maple bacon were good too, but not served warm since they appear to not make these as often. My top two are the plain and maple bacon. The maple frosting on the maple and maple bacon wasn’t overly sweet. Not sure what else to mention other than it’s a must try on every visit to Pike Place Market. If you hard a time finding it, just look for the line or all the tourists taking selfies with miniature donuts. As a tip, start off with an assorted ½ dozen or dozen and make sure you ask for maple and maple bacon in the assorted mix. Technically they don’t allow it since the maple and maple bacon are considered premium donuts, but the lady who helped me had no qualms throwing those goodies into my assorted mix. I had successes on more than one occasion.

While browsing in Pike Place Market, I kept my eyes open for the Daily Dozen Doughnuts. I pretty well just stumbled upon them because of the extremely long line curled around in front of their stand. Standing in line gave me enough time to decide what kind of doughnuts to get: plain, cinnamon, powdered, sprinkled or even an assortment. While standing there, I could watch the doughnut making process. From the doughnut rings being dropped in the hot-oil to the two minute oil bath to the conveyor belt dropping them off in the bin. When I got to the counter, the super-friendly guy greeted me and dropped a half-dozen powdered doughnuts in a brown paper bag for me. These half-dozen cost $ 3, fairly reasonable, I figured for quality, fresh doughnuts. And, after I’d eaten a couple, I realized I still had six left, so they are generous. I’m not a doughnut expert, but these were good. Way better than the packaged powdered donuts you get in supermarkets! They tasted very similar to rings of funnel cake and had the crispy edges to go along with it. If I’m ever back in Seattle, you better believe I’ll be picking up another half-dozen, and I suggest you do the same!

Cinnamon sugar donuts are amazing! Eat them while it’s hot. I tried the powdered and it’s not as good, maybe if they were hot too. I came when they were close to closing so there was not a huge selection left. Wish I tried the maple bacon! Daily dozen donuts is a cart located in pikes place near the entrance to the gum wall alley.

How I heard of this place: The line working it’s way down the tiled walkway, wrapping around the dried fruit stand and making it’s way to the Pike Place Pig is hard to miss. I wonder how many people have followed that line just to see the pot of gold… I mean, doughnuts at the end? Type of cuisine: Doughnuts. Mini ones. Limited(not like you’ll notice) flavor options. Ambiance: A small booth with handwritten sign within the Market. Little donuts making their way through the assembly line of deep fry oil and drying rack, making their way to the tower of powdered sugar or in brown, paper bags and doused with cinnamon-sugar. What I ordered: An assorted dozen, including plain cake, powdered sugar, and cinnamon sugar. What I loved: The cinnamon sugar seemed to be the crowd pleaser among our party of four(adults). But the plain cake is easily the best in town. Why I loved it: No frills. A long line that works its way speedily through the customers. A hole-in-the-wall that doesn’t pride itself on customer service, but serves customers with some of the best donuts around. Cost: Low to average($ 6 for simple assorted dozen)

There is something very unintimidating about things that are mini. Like when you’re walking down the street and pass by a tiny chihuahua, that last thing you think is «RUNFORYOURLIFE!». Well, that’s the reason I absolutely loved the mini donuts at the Daily Dozen. Light little donuts that just scream«I’M ADORABLYTINY, WHYNOTEATME!». We stayed within walking distance of Pike Place Market so were here exploring a few times and fearlessly gobbled down a bunch of these little bites of goodness. We got a variety of flavors like the cinnamon sugar and chocolate ganache with sprinkles but our favorite by far was the maple bacon. The donut was light and fluffy and the maple glaze was nice and mapley. That smokey/salty hit from the bacon totally topped it off. There’s a donut place here in Hawaii that makes a maple bacon donut but the bacon they use are the bacon bits that you buy in a bag at costco, painfully disappointing. The Daily Dozen ones are definitely not like that. My only regret is that we didn’t stay in Seattle longer so I could get more of these delightful donuts. I’ll have to make it a point to be back there and grab up another bunch.

Adorable little donut stand on the edge of Pike’s Place Market. They have a machine stamping out little donuts and glazing them hot and fresh. I had to try the bacon maple, but unfortunately, the donut itself was very spongey, dry, and had no substance, the maple glaze was thick like canned frosting, and the bacon topping was stale(and when cold outside, the fat has a really unpleasant mouth-feel). For only a $ 1, one might think a mini maple bacon donut is a great deal, but I did not enjoy the one bite I took, and tossed the rest. Perhaps if they candied or crisped up the bacon, and lightened the maple frosting to a glaze, it would be more enjoyable.

For some reason I had a hunch that they would be open earlier than their posted hours, and low & behold, they were already open when I got there. They were still making their fresh mini donuts as I walked up. Ordered a dozen assorted mini donuts that included, powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar and chocolate w/sprinkles. All were very good, next thing I knew I was already half way through the bag. Nice & warm still, just slightly melted inside the bag, a little gooey too. Great way to start the morning and a perfect stop while at Pike Place Market. I couldn’t finish the bag, so I donated the rest to them hungry vultures called co-workers so they didn’t go to waste. Staff was nice & friendly, even at that hour of the morning, pricing was about $ 6 for a dozen, and definitely would go back. Great little spot!

Yes, there’s a line. Just wait in it. While you wait, you’ll see a little donut robot making donuts. You’ll eat those in a hot second! I got a mixed dozen and scarfed them down quickly. The cinnamon were my favorite, though I also really enjoyed the maple bacon. It’s cash only, but the donuts are pretty cheap. Get on this!
