Donut food truck… let’s go! I needed a snack, so I decided to wait in line with the rest of the people. I got the classic cinnamon sugar mini-donuts. No flavor drizzle for me, but they do offer different flavor drizzles they do over the top of your mini-donuts. Mini-donuts come in a stack of about 8, I shoveled them down too quick to count accurately. Nice & fresh, a little warm, nice & crisp outside, but airy inside, cinnamon sugar was the perfect amount, and definitely not a cake donut if that’s what you are looking for. I enjoyed them very much and regretted about not getting back in line to take some home.

Tried the cardamom and ginger donuts this morning! Yummy! The donuts melted in your mouth and the cardamom and ginger were a great combination.

First tried Street Donuts at the South Lake Union Food Rodeo, then again today at the Mobile Food Fight for Hunger up in Shoreline on 8÷31÷14. Kiddo ordered your bowl of made-to-order epic goodness(your choice of topping, $ 5) with chocolate caramel drizzled on top. It was a tough choice, because Sweet Treats was also on site. Kiddo(aka Mr. Doughnut) says you edge out Daily Dozen Donuts at Pike Place Market and the mini doughnut place by the Kingston ferry terminal ticket booth, but specifically«OMG they’re nice and yummy!» Also — it’s CASH only!

I’ve been going to Street Donuts for years. I literally had a panic attack when the previous owners sold the business. I’ve since had a chance to see the new owners at least 5 times, beginning at the Mobile Food Rodeo earlier this year. It is with a heavy heart that I update my review. The first thing to note is that the prices have gone up. For years, the price point on the donuts has been $ 4 and it has now been raised to $ 5. The second thing to note is the lack of consistency in the quality of the donuts that are made. The shapes can vary but most often, they remind me of onion rings instead of the puffed, circular donuts I have come to expect. The color is also lacking a beautiful golden brown color and often look pale. The taste is still the same and they have kept many of the flavors. The new owners are really nice people and they seem to take care in participating in various forms of social media. Previously, my first stop at every event would be Street Donuts. That’s no longer the case and I’ve skipped them altogether a couple of times.

love the fact it made to order. You know you’re getting fresh warm mini doughnuts. My favorite is the chocolate caramel

So glad these guys were at the Edmonds Waterfront Festival. I now have a new favorite place! Curry and Chocolate doughnuts were just the perfect combination, cant wait to catch Street Doughnuts again to try other flavors. The aesthetics of the company and originality behind the food is exactly what I love in my dining experiences. 5 stars all around!

Donuts. On the street. What’s in a name? But chewy sweet goodness. To go.

I did not know what to expect from these guys, but I was expecting a little more than what I got. When I write this review I do know that this was the Mobile Food Rodeo and the menu was shortened, but this is the time to put your best foot forward; make me want to come back. These are basically small donuts from the donut machines you see at farmer’s markets and street fairs; the ones that pump out bite sized rings. What I expected from Street Donuts were fun toppings and glazes, maybe a different flavored batters. They had two toppings that were fairly basic dusting’s with a spice twist and a fancy toothpick. I would not go out of my way to get to these guys.

Street Donuts is definitely a cut above the average mini doughnut stand as they offer a great variety of toppings that you can add to your order including curry, ginger, coconut, and Nerds as well as chocolate, mango, and other sauces. The doughnuts always come out hot and fresh since they are constantly having to make more to meet the demand. These folks are a great addition to Seattle’s expanding roster of food truck offerings and what will keep them going is the combination of great service and a quality product.

Here’s the rundown: – the doughnuts were these cute(in a manly way) mini doughnuts – they were obviously fresh(made in front of you after you order them) – you can ask them for whatever toppings you want(chocolate, coconut and cinnamon) Despite all those positives, the coolest thing about this little food stand is the cool little production line doughnut fryer they have! I seriously stood there mesmerized for about five minutes. I’m sure they thought I was crazy.

We ran into this cart while walking back to our car and had to stop and try the super cute mini donuts made to order. We had the coconut with caramel sauce. Sooo goood. Glad I don’t live here or this could become an addiction

I love donuts. Those deep fried, sugar loaded, unhealthy, diabetically inducing, delicious things. This street cart serves fresh mini donuts, which is even better. They have this cute mini donut machine which churns out 2 donuts every few seconds. s3-media1.px.yelpcdn.com/bphoto/wr7PKz2qmI0rkwopLZFECg/l.jpg I went for a cup of donuts grazed with vanilla pudding. You stab it with little 2-pronged forks and pop em in your mouth. They’re fluffy, sweet, and yummy. They aren’t greasy at all and they don’t have that deep fried after taste. *bleh* You can choose to top it with a variety of interesting toppings. They’re located in a parking lot on Pike. Just a few blocks from the Market, right where Gourmet Dog Japon used to be a few months ago. I could eat these things non-stop if I could afford to.

We walked by this truck several times before finally caving and buying half a dozen donuts… then we regretted not buying the full dozen. I love the various toppings you can choose. We did the cinnamon powder with caramel sauce(which I don’t know why isn’t one of their preset combos because it was SOGOOD!!) Don’t make the same mistake I did, just do it, get it, eat it, enjoy it!

I am not usually a «sweets» kind of person, nor do I normally like donuts, but this donut trailer is amazing! They sell mini-donuts – freshly made in the trailer – and you can top it with anything you like. They have toppings such as cardamon, curry, coconut, chocolate, caramel, peanut, vanilla pudding, and even nerds. I ordered 2-dozen donuts(I had a groupon), one dozen with chocolate and coconut and the other dozen with just vanilla pudding. The vanilla pudding is very light, not too sweet, and a little goes a long way with each donut. The chocolate/coconut was my absolute favorite and a fan favorite! The sugar is infused with coconut and they sprinkle shredded coconut on top – even with all of that, the combination of coconut to chocolate is just perfect. So yummy! The owner is very friendly and very efficient. The line was pretty long when I was there, and it didn’t move too quickly, but I appreciated that she took her time with everyone’s order. She didn’t skimp out on toppings and she presented each order with consistency. Note: CASHONLY. She had mentioned that they’re going to be closing this Saturday(September 3). With the new permits they will be making improvements, some changes(as far as regulations/policy goes), but same great tastes! Keep updated on their website: .

Street Donuts are the foodie’s answer to mini donuts. These donuts aren’t overly sweet or oily and you get to pick any two toppings from a list that includes everything from curry powder to nerds to make it your own. Additional toppings are 50cents extra. I chose ginger and cardamom and they were amazing. Sweet yet savory, the perfect combo. What will keep me away: — Daily Dozen at the market only charges max. $ 2.85 for a dozen mini donuts, when Street Donuts are $ 3.25 for six. — My donuts were luke warm — fresh mini donuts need to be hot!

I love these fresh snack-sized donuts! These are best eaten right when you get them since they’re hot and the texture has a light crisp when you bite into them. I like how these donuts aren’t heavy and cakey. So far I have tried the cardamom and vanilla pudding donuts and I liked the pairing. Plus these did not taste overly sweet to the point of a diabetic coma. The lady that made my donuts that day recommended to try the chocolate and curry flavor combination. I’ll have to come back here to give that a shot.

Mmm fresh hot donuts. This donut truck is so cute and the little donuts are yummy. The texture of the donut is part cakey, part bready. It reminds me of the kinds of donuts you get at carnivals and along seaside boardwalks. They have fun dusting and sauce combinations like cardamom and ginger, chocolate sauce with coconut dusting, vanilla pudding and nerds. I ordered a box of 3 dozen for $ 12. Comes with choice of any 3 dustings or sauces. I got cardamom dusting on half the donuts, and chocolate sauce and vanilla pudding sauce for the other half(brought them back to share with my coworkers). All very good but the cardamom one is my favorite. The owners are super friendly. Stop by the truck and pick up a box of 36 tasty mounds for the office. You’ll be mighty popular. Edited to add: these donuts must be eaten while still hot/warm. They’re not like regular donuts that taste good cold. I ate a cold one and they are like french fries — limp and greasy when cold. So eat them up stat!

Downtown workers: It’s a food truck revolution! Taking E3 Busway to SODO(Starbucks) is a little out of my way for a lunch truck(lunch hour constraints) so I’m very happy that more food trucks are coming downtown(2nd and Pike & Pine). A buddy of mine sent me this link: which lists all the food trucks in the greater Seattle area. Street Donuts was on this list. I had to try it because I enjoyed reading one of the Unilocal reviews. I got the chocolate sauce with vanilla pudding on the side. I told the gal I would share with the co-workers and share I did. All the co-workers gave me positive feedback. It’s the new snack for staff meetings!

So I get that Daily Dozen just up the block is the veteran, and has the crazy long line to prove it. That said, Street Donuts is very much the upstart rookie looking to make waves. Amazingly, when we visited on Sunday, no one was around. You’re missing out, denizens of Pike Place Market! These were some seriously tasty mini-donuts. We went for the #3, topped with chocolate sauce and shredded coconut. How good? They were devoured within minutes. Yes, same vein as Daily Dozen, Trish’s, and I’m sure many, many more. All that matters to me is it’s good, and boy, was it ever good.
