Great pizza, the Santoro is my favorite, beer choice is good, very friendly service, and their happy hour rocks as well. Everything I need for a 5 star review, been here probably a dozen times.

Quick review to give these guys proper respect. Delicious pizza, I love the sauce, interesting topping combos avail. Very clean. cozy atmosphere, wooden walls. Staff has been super nice the 3 times we’ve been here. Funny, i think of this as a great place to go on a cloudy day, yet it’s been sunny every time we’ve gone. Def recommend!

Very friendly staff. Great options for seating, a the bar, at a table, at a booth, or outside on Greenwood Ave. Delicious salad and pizza. Great selection of brews. This building goes back a lot farther than I thought so was surprised to see the depth when I went inside. It was a very pleasant surprise all around. There were kids around but the place was more leaning toward older kids than babes-in-arms. I would definitely go back here again.

The Ridge is exactly what I want my high end neighborhood pizza joint to be. Owner operated, community focused, inventive and delicious. I always start with an order of Garlic Cheese Bread. There are few things in this world more satisfying than garlicky French bread covered in melted cheese. We went with a large half PNA and half Hecho(Their online menu is outdated). The Hecho is a wonderfully strange mix of pizza and Mexican. We were skeptical but when it was paraded by us we couldn’t say no. It was surprising but undeniably delicious! The Ridge is a great place for a get-together, to watch a game, even just to pop in for dinner. The prices might be a little high, but the passion and quality poured into the food more than make up for it. Stop by and you won’t be disappointed. Fair warning this is a family spot so expect there to be some children running around during normal dinner hours.

I had to drop it a star because I just can’t justify the $ 80 bill(after tip) for a pizza, 2 salads, and a couple of beers. I’m not sure why it has become so expensive? We eat at Delancey and other fine pizza places and the bill is never as high.

The pizza here is some of the best I have had in a long time. Drinks were good too but a bit on the pricey side… go figure it’s Seattle where every Moscow Mule costs $ 10+ We came here for a friends engagement party and had a really good time. Like I said good pizza and good drinks = a good time.

This place is awesome! The staff is really friendly and the food was great! Mary our server was super sweet, there was a slight mix up with our food and she took care of it right away. Coming from jersey I have been searching for a decent slice of pizza and I have now found my new pizza spot. I am so excited to go back!

I LOVE! They have 3 things going for them — excellent 80’s music(at least today), Great Pie, and IPA! They don’t deliver BUT I would walk uphill to get here(or hire a service)!

Just ok pizza. I find their pizza a bit bland. Also their ranch dressing is very bland and lacks flavor(add a bit of garlic, salt, and a tad of lemon).

I’ve come here twice now for lunch and both meals were tasty, filling, and satisfying. Great pizza, salads, sandwiches, and appetizers at generous portions and a good price. Also both times we received friendly, excellent service from the nice gentleman who also tends the bar. On our recent visit, The Hubs and I enjoyed the meatball appetizer and the Greenwood Elementary Pizza. We had them sub black olives for the onions. Excellent, light yet sturdy crust with a nice chew and generous toppings. The smaller size was plenty for two people. Recommend it.

BF and I were hungry for a bite so we decided to stop off here. We were pretty pleasantly surprised! The ambiance was cute and they had a pretty decent happy hour that was until 11pm on Tuesday evening. We ordered some beer, a cheese pizza, and the artichoke dip. Everything was pretty average, but not terrible. The artichoke dip was tangy and spicy and had some good flavors, but the crostinis were just okay. The pizza was just your average, but still fairly tasty pizza. A pretty nice find. Would come back just for the good happy hour deals. :)

Randomly stopped in here for lunch with my mom on a rainy day. I loved the ambience — dark and wooden and cozy-feeling. The waitress was attentive and friendly without being too in-your-face. We split a salad and a pizza and liked both. All the produce seemed bright and fresh and everything tasted good. I wouldn’t call it THEBESTPIZZAEVER but nothing particular to complain about. Certainly a solid/affordale option for a simple meal in a relaxing environment. Naturally it was slow around lunchtime on a weekday, so people were even working on laptops, reading books, etc. They don’t mind if you take your time here.

Absolutely love this place. The food is tasty and the staff couldn’t be nicer. Seriously always the best service for both dine in and take out. Everything I’ve had has been great plus a good beer selection!

Good, solid pizza here. The crust was tasty and chewy, thicker than the thin-crust pizzas that seem to be taking over the world of late. The tomato base is delicious and the thing I noticed most about the cheese pie I got there the other day… the tomato base definitely has a little kick to it, a little spiciness… not sure if they have some chili pepper or black pepper in there, but either way, keep doing whatever that is! Yum! The featured pizzas are named after significant places or people in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood… I love that connection and it’s a nice little mash note to the awesome Phinney-Greenwood corridor, which seems to be weathering the storm of gentrification better than a lot of other North Seattle neighborhoods… Speaking of connection to the neighborhood, The Ridge has several«charity case» pizzas; they donate $ 1 to charitable causes for each of these that are ordered. That is so cool, and these are significant organizations too, supporting local school PTAs, firefighters, and the excellent Phinney Neighborhood Association that does a thousand different things for this here ‘hood. Way to go, Ridge! (I need to ask them if I can get a charity case pizza but have them hold the meat… none of them are veggie as described, and one of them apparently has pasta on it. Wha???)

Always awesome pizza, decent beer selection, but it’s the staff that puts it over the top. I generally sit at the bar so I might be a little biased but I can tell the people that work there love what they do which reflects the vibe of the place. I ordered a pizza that took a little longer than usual I guess but seriously like maybe around a half hour. The bartender compted my beer and gave two tokens for half priced pizza.(Not that everyone should expect that.)

Just a genuine neighborhood pizza bar. Great beer list and wine list, fair prices, and a solid menu. Salads were big enough to share as an appetizer as well, which was nice. As I’ve come to expect from Seattle pizzerias, the variety of toppings, styles, and base sauces was huge. Not only that, but the preparation was more European than American– a focus on having really good toppings spread evenly or sparingly, as opposed to having tons of mediocre toppings covering the pie. I’m anxious to try one of the options with the pesto base next time. Definitely will be back…

Wow. Not only are the bartender what appears to be the manager/owner and wait staff unfriendly… The cliental are pretentious and tasteless. This place is for yuppies and douches. What a waste of time and money. Except the pregnant bartender… She was kind. Everyone else can EF the EF off. The Doctor

Salads: fresh ingredients, excellent ranch(kinda herby). Pizza: yum! Crust, good. Sauce, good. Cheese, excellent! Meat toppings, wonderful. Overall very impressed with their pizza. You can tell some care went into it. Service: great. But keep in mind that pizza takes 25 – 30 minutes. Ambiance: quite loud on busy nights. Count on shouting to your neighbor. They have patio seating, but not much. Plenty inside.

Ah, Pizza. One of those foods that is so beloved by many. Easy to please food, simple enough, but hard to get right. I mean really right. Sure I was hungry, our entire group was. But this has to rank up there among the best pizzas I’ve had. Our group ordered four large pies. Of the selections were the Oliver’s Twist, Avanti, Martino’s and the PTA.(except for the latter, they’re all named after businesses on the street. How cute.) All four pizzas were amazing! Read about these on the website, but the ingredients are fresh and flavorful. The crust was so good, I actually ate my crusts(which I often will leave behind). My personal fave was the Oliver’s Twist: Sliced red potatoes, onions, and bacon, topped with truffle oil and rosemary on an olive oil base. The others were more/less a margarita, meat lovers, and supreme. But all of them totally delish. Lots of beers on tap, a pretty diverse selection. A really nice and comfortable interior. Since we were a big group we got the entire back area to ourselves.(Sorry, Ridge for hoggin it up!) And I am pleased that this place is actually not very far from where I live. I will definitely be back here again and bring a new group of friends. Yummy!

This is a perfect neighborhood pizza place for families within walking distance to take the family, let the kids loose and have the wifes drink vino and fathers drink beer. Seems to be a neighborhood smaller version of Tutta Bella. The toppings on the pizza are good quality but I find the crust to be lacking, but can’t figure out what’s missing. Large portions on the salads and I could make a meal of just a single salad without ordering anything else. We had salad, small pizza, 2 beers and 2 wines and it was just shy of $ 60. The atmosphere is a bit cold, bright, loud with seating that’s mostly hard wood booths without cushions or such. I found the service to be pleasant and the staff was professional and I enjoyed the service. For singles this is a strong 3 star and a 4 star experience for families with children.
