I’ve gone here every once in awhile, but only because the coffee shop I normally go to, is closed on the weekends, and the times I have been here I feel like the customers are annoyances to the employees. I am a barista myself, so I know how annoying some customers can be, but a barista should never argue with a customer or make them feel lesser. Instead they should Listen, Apologize, Solve, and Thank(LAST). Instead, when I walk in, the employees never smile, and try to minimize interaction with customers as much as possible. One day a group of friends and I, went to the Starbucks at 6:45PM, when they close at 7:30, and ordered a drink from a very unenthusiastic employee, who many of the customers were whispering about making their drinks poorly. Being optimistic and just thinking maybe the barista was having a bad day, we ordered and waited nearby, when she was done making the drinks, without a word(she’s supposed to call out a name or the drink), she slid the drinks across the bar, with one almost falling off, and just walked away. So I had to read everyone’s cups to give them to the right people, who were clueless to what the writing meant. We went to the far back corner next to a large table occupied by a man on his computer, and sat in the comfy chairs, hoping that we could just forget about what had just happened, and sit in piece. But after 5 minutes, she walks over with a mop and were the entire floor and starts mopping(this part of cleaning should happen after they close when there are no more customers). At first, I was just thinking that maybe she was cleaning one spot or something, but circled the large table, jabbing the man’s chair and backpack repeatedly with the mop going under them, and then continued to hover over him until he decided to leave. We just sat there flabbergasted at what just happened, and decided to ignore her cleaning and continue with our conversation. About 2 minutes later, she mops our direction(missing the entire floor between the table and our chairs as if it was deliberate) and mops OVER my brothers foot. Literally mopped over foot. Not once, but twice. We all moved our feet onto the chairs, sitting in very awkward and uncomfortable positions, as my brother is hanging his over the end of the chair to keep his seat from getting wet by his now soapy wet shoes. After 45 seconds of her«cleaning» under and over our feet, she walked into the back(employee area), and just stayed back there as we decided that we needed to leave. I was going to mention her actions to one of the other employees, but there seemed to be no employees out behind bar at all, as there were few customers sitting out. By far one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a Starbucks, because it seemed like something right out of a movie or comedy skit. I’ve gone back only a couple of times, purely out of optimism for better experience and the convenience of where it’s located, but though she wasn’t working the shifts when I went, the other employees were equally as rude and depressing. One thirty-ish looking employee was yelling down the line to what seemed to be her mom and talking to her the entire time, rather than the customers she was helping, and made her a drink(out of order) for free, before making a drink for the customers before her. After going in to this location a few times and having a poor experience almost everytime, I’ve decided that it’s wiser to just go to the smaller chains in this area, instead, such as Tully’s Coffee, Uptown Espresso, or the Café Vita, all within a couple of blocks radius.

I had another customer who was bullying me and verbally assaulting me(right in front of two staff members) this morning, but I was the one who got kicked out when I swore at him. Bullying is acceptable at this starbucks location, thinking about selling my shares in the company, I think ive profited enough from a company that is okay with my being bullied.

I’ve been drinking SBUX coffee for years as an Oregonian… I’ve never had my drinks made so well before… but of course it had to happen in Washington. My drink was made by different folks each time and just as perfect each time. The crew here is exceptional and very friendly. I absolutely loved that my hotel(Mediterranean Inn) had a door in its lobby into this location.

Geeesh… came in tonight before going to a concert to purchade some pastries. A pumpkin cream cheese muffin and a few cake pops. Heathe the cashier was really rude, didnt even ask me if I wanted it heated, just through it in a bag. He acted annoyed when I asked to reload my card before I made the 10.00 purchase. The other heavy set black girl behind the counter was giving dirty looks. Needless to say, after biting into the muffin a block away, I had to turn around and return it. it was stale and the cream cheese was gelatinized. When I went into the store the Black gal with the gray knit headband ignored me and just had a bad attitude about her, Heathe again came to the counter, rude as before, unapologetic, and refunded my money for the muffin to the card. I plan on not only calling the store tomorrow, but corporate as well. These baristas have no business in customer service, and I patronize Starbucks too much to be treated like this.

The staff here are truly exceptional. They make it a pleasure to stop by for a chai(my somewhat complicated drink is always made to perfection) or whatever you’re in the mood for. Smart, hip, cool, friendly, kind, patient, superefficient, and simply lovely people; I can’t say enough about them. Plus the café itself is cosy inside and has seating outside when the weather allows. Give yourself a treat and pop into this little Uptown/LQA gem!

it seems like they could’ve utilized the spade better, but if you love open spaced places with high ceilings, this is your place. some electrical outlets, but i’m not sure there’s a restroom. it is attached to mediterranean inn, and has narrow sidewalk seating outdoors on queen anne ave. across the street from dick’s drive-in. baristas are chill & on their game.

This *bux* is close to the«Needle» but far enough that it’s not crowded. The baristas are friendly and fast. Metered parking outside . Large enough space and plenty of tables and chairs.

Friendly management, new barista working was doing really well. Ordered a drink half sweet that was made full sweet. Brought it back and was told to make sure and let them know that I wanted it half sweet. I clearly asked for it half sweet and the barista’s response was ‘ah I don’t recall’. After that the barista on bar gave me the same lecture about letting them know beforehand as mornings are busy, and again having to explain myself that ‘trust me I would never order that drink full sweet’. After working at a Starbucks for almost 3 years I had been through this experience myself dozens of times. Starbucks policy is the customer is always right you don’t have to belittle them and make them feel stupid when YOU didn’t mark the drink correctly. If not for this experience would have been 5 stars.

I frequent this location on my way to work and I am always pleased with the service, coffee and experience. The baristas are lively, friendly and generous. The drinks are always made to perfection, and they actually listen to the million different nuances each person requests. Kudos to a wonderful team!

I love this Starbucks. They’re always so kind and friendly, and I’ve never had an issue with anything I’ve gotten there. There are other coffee shops around this area, but I always take the extra time to go here.

Love me some coffee! I seem to accumulate hundreds of dollars in Starbucks giftcards during holidays, birthdays and random gifts from friends/family. So it is safe to say that I visit Starbucks on the regular to get some coffee in the early morning before work. This is the Starbucks I always go to in the mornings. It is just a block up from my work and really easy to get to. Unfortunately, they usually do have a line just because its a very popular Starbucks in the middle of a lot of businesses so a lot of people have the same idea as me. The line maybe takes ten minutes to get through but they usually take your order while in line so by the time you get up to pay, your drink order is halfway down the line to get processed. But again the line is always in the morning at around 9 am but later in the day, I have never seen a line. The staff is AMAZING. Its usually the same three people every morning and they work really well together. One of the staff members actually remembers my name and calls me RiRi for short, love it! I love their staff especially because of the other day when I went in their for lunch. I ordered my drink, grabbed a little snack pack and a chocolate croissant. I only brought my phone with me from work because I have the Starbucks app with my giftcards on their to pay with so I didn’t need much else. As I go to pay with my giftcard, the barcode is unable to come up and it says«Sorry but we are unable to process your request at this time». I showed this to them in hopes that they would know what to do, but they didn’t since they don’t know much about fixing the app. So I was a little confused as to what I should do, so I said just give me the coffee since I had $ 7 on another gift card that actually was working. As I am leaving, they yell back at me to take the other items. Somehow they had paid for the items themselves to compensate for the app not working for me. HOWSWEET! I was really impressed and it makes me want to go back even more than I already do!

I try to stick to local, small coffee shops when getting tea and coffee in Seattle. But sometimes you can’t beat a big, fast, cheap spot with free WIFI and plenty of room to host meetings and work remotely. I grabbed a black tea/lemonade drink, hung out for a bit to get some work done, and enjoyed my time here. I also noticed that there are more food options and they even carry Evolution Fresh juices for non coffee and tea drinkers.

As far as Starbucks goes, this one is one of my favorites in town. The baristas are friendly and efficient. If you are a regular, they will know your name and your drink in just a week or two. As for the building, its a small store in the ground floor of a hotel. It is fairly small and seats can be tough to find during busy hours. Its almost all tables and chairs but their is one community table and two small couches to relax at.

It’s the friendly staff & locals of lower Queen Anne that makes this Starbucks a pleasant place to relax and enjoy your beverage of choice. You don’t have to be cool, hip, or an egotistical turd to come here(although these types are welcomed too). It’s clean, well maintained, has a large sitting area and seasonal out door seating. Wheelchair friendly.

Starbucks is a guilty pleasure of mine. I’ve become accustomed to the style and flow of how this Starbucks operates and visit the place quite frequently. Baristas are quick to help and also get to know you and your favorite beverage. They strive to have your drink perfect and to you ASAP. In the rare event that your order would be late, or incorrect, they offer to correct it(usually free of charge) and with a smile.

Hello. My name is Michael and I’m an addict… to caffeine and this Starbucks is my dealer. I think I must visit this location three or four times a week. Whether I order my standard Grande Skinny Vanilla Latte or whether I mix it up and order a Pumpkin Spiced Latte(which is insanely good btw), every drink they make is consistently good. I’m not purposing Starbucks as the best coffee option in LQA by any means, but consistency counts for a lot when you’re just waking up and needing your caffeine fix. Also, the service is always f&f(fast and friendly). Note: f&f is a new abbreviation I’ve created… use it… it’s going to be the next thing!

It’s a good size location with free wifi. Plenty of tables but only a couple of comfy chairs. There are a few outdoor tables as well. The staff is friendly enough. Just what you’d expect from Starbucks.
