I love this block party! It’s always so much fun, and this past year was the first time the block party had live music instead of an outdoor movie. I’m cool with either, as long as they never get rid of the Brave Horse Tavern beer garden! All the drinks are seven bucks, and accepts credit cards. In addition to the food trucks, there is a burger competition, which is mainly why I go to the Block Party. For $ 15 you get five sliders from South Lake Union restaurants, competing for the best burger and it’s actually much more food than you’d think. I wasn’t even able to finish a fifth slider. Dogs are welcome at this event, too. I try to go here every year — love it!
