This place is just horrible. From how they do nails to how the owner does business, all bad. The nails just horrible, not sanitized tools, I’m sure they do sometime but when a girl pulls her cuticle clippers out of her pocket in their originally packaging just to be replaced into there, makes me cringe. I went in once to have a elderly man come on try to buy a gift card for his wife. He asked for just enough for a mani and pedi where the owner proceeded to just horrible make him choose the amount for the best type of pedi/​mani he got so upset and left. Around thanksgiving on a Sunday I was in dire need of manicure and my go to place was closed. I called asked when they close all I got was «very busy busy no more people bye bye» hung up didn’t even let me ask or answer my questions. I called back very upset and said «you just hung up on me I just wanna know what time open so I can buy a gift card» she said «oh how much how much? I said 20 and she said oh we closed now» how unprofessional. I stop people walking into this place when I can.

Worse customer service! I asked for a quick nail polish removal. I agreed to a $ 5 charge. Twenty seconds with all of the red-​polish edges of my nails left on! When she said she was done, and to meet her at the counter to pay… I pointed out that she was in fact not finished. I asked her why all of the edges are still on my nail? She hurriedly repeated over and over, «We just do mittle!» Please share your experience if you ask for similar service soon. I will pay for a manicure for a Unilocaler does not get duped for the same service. I will choose the recipient. Thanks.

Don’t go here whatever you do!!! The service was condescending and abrasive. I went in for an acrylic manicure and got what I wanted but she argued with me about the shape of the tips. But get this: when she handed me the color options, she never told me they were shellac, so she charged me an extra $ 15 without telling me. Awful!!! My bill was $ 45 plus the tip (I didn’t give one obviously…) Go somewhere that doesn’t scam their customers!!!

The women there ganged up on me and wouldn’t take no for an answer when I asked for a simple fill and they said I needed a full new set. I’d only had them filled once or twice since I had the new set put on and have been getting my nails done for more than 10 years so I knew they were full of crap. They wouldn’t stop telling me they look bad they’d look prettier if you got a new set don’t you want to look good for your guy. And on, and on, and on. This was about a 10 minute ordeal and I agreed to do it so they would just get on to doing my nails. I won’t be going back as this left a very poor taste in my mouth to use a peer pressure approach that involves insulting your customers and badgering them to get them to agree to a much more expensive treatment. The new set was completely uneven finger to finger for the amount of white tip there was and the top coat bubbled. This is your warning — while this is in a convenient location, it’s not worth this experience.

The owner/​manager kept yelling at me till I decided on the color I wanted! I hadn’t even been there that long. Absolute worst customer service ever! Who yells at their customer?! $ 30 and all I got was a polish change, didn’t even clean my cuticles.

If I could give a zero star I would. I’ve gone to this nail salon a few times over 3 years. At first they were wonderful, kind, and attentive and they do a great job. All I want is a pedicure and for $ 25 it’s a really great deal. The owner kept trying to upsell me, trying to pressure me into a manicure. I don’t want my nails done and each time I gently refuse. The last time, right after my pedicure was finished, the owner told me, «you done now, bye bye». One of her employees put paper flip flops on me, I paid and then left. I had sandals with me, but my toes were still too wet to put them on. The shop wasn’t crowded and I wasn’t taking up a chair that was needed. I couldn’t sit there and let my toes dry? All because I don’t want a manicure?! I’ve never been treated so poorly.

I was quoted $ 25 for a shellac and was charged $ 30 when I got to the counter because they charged an extra $ 5 for shellac removal. That’s bullshit. Plus, it should be included in the quote. The woman before me was pissed about her added on charges, too. Bad business practices. I’m never going back.

The staff was friendly and the salon was clean. As far as the actual service and quality of work — it was sub-​par.
My spa pedi was completed in under fifteen minutes and my basic mani was completed in under ten. I did not receive the paraffin treatment that came with the pedi. The callous treatment consisted of a light once over with a tool and then a scrub brush. None of my nails are the same shape or length. Some of my cuticles on my fingers are cut and some are not. Some are pushed back and others are not. None of my fingernails are the same shape. This is the oddest mani and pedi that I have ever received.
If I do not care what my nails and cuticles look like and I am in a time crunch then this is the place that I will continue to frequent. Fortunately — this is not the case.

They are always super friendly and get me in and out in time during my lunch break. They shape my nails extremely well too and pay close attention to the small details of each nail… I am always thrilled :)

Never get pedicure and manicure here together at the same time. This place is fine if you’re getting a manicure on a different day then the pedicure. They have a tendency to rush through and try to serve as many customers even if they are understaffed. Most clientele are told to sit somewhere else so they could free up a space for other people. Watch out, their tub may still be wet from being wash with a sponge and expect to be handed a flipflop to put on yourself. I am a long time customers but the last few times have been a lousy experience.

Came here for part of my bridal shower celebration and we were so pleased with the service and overall experience. The inside was nice and clean, the chairs were comfy and spacious They let us bring champagne and cupcakes which we set on a cute counter near our area. All six girls in my party were work on simultaneously so we all finished around the same time — no waiting around for stragglers.
The manicure and pedicure were top notch. My mother is a nail technician and I’ve had hundreds of manicures — they do a QUALITY job here. The technicians were friendly and made us all feel very welcome.
I will definitely be back!

I’ve been to this location numerous times and each time, I’ve had a very good, standard pedicure. I haven’t had a bad experience yet, but I also tend to come at the off-​peak times. I’m just really glad they are open on Sundays and evenings when my regular place is closed. This is a great little back-​up place. I don’t do anything fancy like gel nails or designs, so my review is for your standard spa pedicure. The nail technicians I have encountered have always been pleasant and non-​intrusive. Sometimes I just want to zone out and read my magazine and the gals here don’t seem to mind. On the other hand, I’ve also been able to engage in a nice chat when I was feeling more social. So either way, it’s been good. The prices are reasonable and they have a good selection of colors.

Even with all the bad reviews, I decided to give this place a try. I have a usual spot in Ballard, but I had gotten carried away shopping and by the time I got to Ballard, I knew my place would be closing. I was in dire need of a pedi, so I gave Signature a shot.
$ 25 for spa pedi. The technician was nice. My only complaint was the leg massage was too brief and some of the polish on my big toe wasn’t applied very smoothly.
If you are in need of a pedi, give this place a shot!

First and last time here. Service is way too pushy. I’ve never had to defend my selection of polish and nail shape with a pedicurist before.
The pedicurist also didn’t pay attention to the water temperature, or how close she was cutting to the cuticle.
I came here because of convenience to my home. Next time I’ll go out of my way for a quality customer experience.

Mani/​pedi for two of us was a disaster. The nail techs continually swapped out, trying to make sure no walk-​ins were turned away — leaving us for long periods of time wondering if they forgot about us. Everything they did and everything they applied would have been gentler if a rhino did it while riding a bulldozer. The hand and foot massage felt like they were tossing around limbs while drunk; topcoats and cuticle oil was slapped on without care; the scrub brush took off 3 layers of skin and felt like sandpaper.
Short of it — definitely ‘un-​recommend’ and won’t be going back.

If there was a way to give no stars I would love to give 0 stars for this place. Rude, doesn’t understand english, over charges without you knowing, never does a good job on both nails pedicure or waxing, and lastly they don’t care about your opinion.

I have gone to this place several times when it’s late and my regular nail salon is closed. I do admit they do great shellac. BUT the reason I’m writing this review is being a had THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF MY LIFE!
I’m not one of those people who are high maintenance and need a lot. I’ve been getting acrylics for 8+ years! I have sensitive nails so when I get them removed I ask them to soak it off. Normally they come off fine. Today they did not. From what they told me the powder that was on my nails was «weird and fake.» They got super mad and frustrated AT ME because it wasn’t coming off. How the eff would I know! I’m not a nail technician and didn’t choose that powder nor knew it was different! She tried taking them off raw and it hurt so bad! I told her it hurt and she didn’t even care. One of my nail now hurts like hell because they ripped my real nail off.
After they took my acrylics off they rushed to put on my shellac. It looks like sh** cause they wanted to leave early and didn’t care what they looked like. Why didn’t I say anything? I was so mad and upset I just wanted to get out of there! And no I didn’t tip!
Oh! And to top it all off I’m Vietnamese. I speak/​understand Vietnamese. I knew they were talking sh** the whole time because I UNDERSTOOD EVERYTHING! From «I don’t care if it hurts her, that’s not my problem.» To «hope she doesn’t look that close to her nails cause I’m not fixing it.» So yes, they do talk about you and still smile to your face.
DO NOT GO HERE!

I just had the WORST PEDICURE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I would love to give negative stars if that were possible.
To start, the nail salon is right near a door that opens to the mall. The door was broken and wide open on a winter day in Seattle, so while I was stuck in the pedicure chair, I was FREEZING.
The pedicure itself was nothing special, pretty rushed during the leg massage and scrub, the painting was fine. Technican didn’t say one word to me, not even hello.
Worst part was when I had been sitting for 20 minutes to let my toes dry. I had already checked them out 5 minutes ago and felt they were really dry. 5 mins later when I touched them again to reconfirm before I put my shoes on, the (I assume manager/​troll beast) of the salon literally yelled at me from across the salon to not touch my pedicure. All of the women jumped in the salon because she YELLED. AT. A. CUSTOMER. I told her no, I’m fine, it’s dry, and yet she continued to yell and said she’d send someone over to help me. Help me what, put my shoes on? I’m not an invalid and my toes are dry. Told her again I’m fine, back off. One of the workers looked horrified and headed over to help me and I again told her NO THANK YOU. It was so incredibly rude and inappropriate, I will never go there again. Absolutely horrible service.
I was planning on giving her no tip after how horribly she treated me but instead, she charged my friend for both her service and mine as well. She was like oops, you’re not together? I said «Nope!». Really awful attitude, please avoid!

I am disappointed by the negative feedbacks, because I love this place since the opening day. Yes some of the employees were un professional and they didn’t do a good job but you know what they are all gone now. Give another chance to them. They are cleanest place, good price and yes excellent, friendly service.

I don’t understand why it takes 90 mins to do a bad pedicure and an ok manicure. Also why do you need to charge me $ 5 because I did a different color on one nail on each hand? So I will not be returning and I’m disappointed that this is how they treat loyal customers. They also tried to use same foot scraper thing on me that they used on my friend.
Side note: time before last i got a shellac manicure and the woman got it all over my fingers and had to rip it off because it had dried. Bled so much.
AVOID THIS PLACE.
UPDATE: now that my nails have grown back I have an infection on my toe. Awesome.
