This is my favorite coffee shop, hands down! Quiet, relaxed music, good ambiance, good tea, and warm. it’s a winner.

Finally made my way here… What a great café. They’ve got a huuuuuge space with lots of seating and couches. What a great place to study or just hang out. It does not have AC though, and it was a bit warm when I went in. Don’t think I could sit too long in there during the hot summer days, but definitely when Seattle starts cooling off. Apparently, they host events and live music here too. Definitely a cool spot that may get overlooked in this area. Got a white mocha and a delicious biscuit, pastry thingy… Idk exactly what it is, but I think it’s from Macrina Bakery. It was not too sweet, chewy and had some tasty jam in the middle(see photo). But of course, as soon as I discover this gem and tell myself I should come here more often, I see a notice in their café about permanent closure starting Aug 14th?! I’ll be sure to revisit a few more times before then :-(.

What an awesome find. Delicious latte and tons of room to sit and work. Free wifi, outlets for charging everywhere and free parking on the side of the building.

HUGE. SPACING. wahoo. there’s plenty of room for everyone to not feel like they are claustrophobic when they are studying, working, reading, whatever have you. I actually saw a girl paint when I went. Coffee is cheap, not the best I’ve had but pretty decent. I’ve only had their iced coffee but they seem to offer a variety of drinks, tea, baked goods etc. The service was extremely friendly. Will be back Q Café!

I have only been here once, but the coffee and morning sandwich were both good. Large layout, with lots of room.

Quite a large space with lots of tables and comfy chairs, wifi, outlets etc. The baristas have always been super nice to me, even bringing my coffee out to my table while I set up. It’s vibe is dependent on your opinion of «we’re christians trying to be relevant and cool». I picked up on it very fast. Lots of people praying over business meetings, church small groups and presentations, etc. If that’s your cup of tea, cool. If you tend to be annoyed by that sort of thing, then you might want to try another coffee shop. I don’t really mind it. The coffee is good and the pastries are ok. Overall, I find that it’s a great place for me to get some work done, and one of the best coffee shops in the interbay area.

This place gets good reviews for the space and the coffee, food, etc so I came here this morning to wait for a friend. I forgot that this is part of Quest church which is just another fundamentalist anti gay church. No loving god here. As I’m sitting here all these people are coming in for a big church meeting. Feels creepy to me especially since the main paster Cho has made it clear that he does not approve of the«gay lifestyle,» whatever that means to him. Look up the stranger article by Dan Savage and see Cho’s response. This is a mistake I will not make again. Not only is there this religious creepiness but the coffee and scone I had were only ok.

Huge space. Easily the biggest café I’ve seen in Seattle. My impression is that it’d be a good place to work. Good scone. Good americano.

Like Lea, i’m also writing this review while posted up at Q-Café. My job is usually pretty dynamic, and I’m usually on location at a client’s office. However, for the past week, I’ve been between projects, and this has been the perfect place to work from. The coffee is great and the staff is very friendly. They also have some pretty great playlists of good music going at all times. There is plenty of space, and I’m pretty shocked there aren’t more people here. My girlfriend’s networking group also meets here on occasion in their business/conference room. Parking is free to the north of the building.

Really yummy chai tea lattes. Student discounts on drinks(really awesome!!) and nice baristas. Lots of study space and outlets. Not so comfy table chairs, but there are couches. Download the Level Up app if you have a smartphone, they give you 4 bux free.

I love all the mix-matched tables and chairs and the little lights hanging on the ceiling. The art also changes a lot I’ve been kind of a regular for a while now. I’ve never been but they also have concerts here. The wifi is really fast. Good music and not too loud. Overall great!

I’m writing this review IN the café. I’m surprised there aren’t more people here in the middle of this lovely Wednesday afternoon. It’s so large, beautiful and quiet. It has a ton of wooden tables and chairs, plentiful outlets and pretty fast wifi! This is a great place to work if you’re in the North Queen Anne area. Why would you try to have coffee or work any where else? It’s really pretty with all the artwork, posters, etc. in the space. Also, they play great, mellow music. I feel like everyone here is pretty friendly and also trustworthy. I don’t always make this a habit, but I had no qualms leaving my comp equipment out in display while heading to the bathroom instead of packing things up(ah the conundrum of an online worker!) Best of all: punch card! Buy 10 drinks, get one free. Gotta love the deals!

Can I just say again how much I love Q Café! It is an incredibly intimate venue. You really get up close with the artists and the bands that play are always awesome. Last night Roll Acosta was headlining. Dude has a killer falsetto. You can listen to the band here: . They have an explosive live energy on stage that doesn’t quite register in their recordings. Also playing last night, Kate Lynne Logan & Scout Smith. Both girls have gorgeous voices and know how to connect with the audience. So fun! Definitely check them out, and click the link to find out what’s happening next at Q:

Dropped by for a viewing of «Finding Kind», and the place was packed. That’s not much of an issue given that there was a movie playing. The baristas were very nice, but everything took a long time for them to make, and while we aren’t very picky, neither my mom nor I enjoyed our drinks.

A friend was hosting a fundraiser at Q Café so it gave me a reason to venture inside. What a great spot! The space is huge, the barista friendly and clean bathrooms! There is even a kids playroom which is a total bonus for parents like me. The best part is that they donate 10% of their sales to a cause that rotates monthly. I love me a coffee shop that likes to give back!

Excellent coffee, friendly baristas, and a very cute, intimate space. Q Café is one of my favorite cafes. They serve Stumptown which already puts them ahead of the curve. Coffee aside I also love the art on display and the overall feel of the café. They have concerts that are open to all ages. They donate 10% of their sales to a cause that rotates monthly. Q Café is a wonderful place. If you love good coffee, art, music, or just want a space to hang out or study check them out!

What a fantastic little(or big, rather) coffee shop! I popped in to have a meeting with someone and was pleasantly surprised by how massive The Q Café is. If you’re thinking of a place to have a party, to play a gig or just to hang out and be assured there’s plenty of room, The Q is for you. You could easily host a room full of 70+ in the space and there’s a split level that operates as a stage for live performances. The service was great too. I asked for an iced tea and it was cheap, quick and brought to the table where I was sitting. Rad! Definitely not a business to be overlooked. Oh — and 10% of the money made here goes to a local cause. This month(July 2011) the money goes to Bike Works in Columbia City.

Despite passing by on the 18 countless times, I’ve actually never noticed this space before until the Clara Chung and New Heights concert here several months back. A neat space with a neat mission(they’re a non-profit supporting local artists), they’re usually open as a café, until show nights where they move everything aside to open up the floor for seating. A small, intimate space with decent acoustics(as far as I could tell anyway — I was at the very front), my only complaint was that, when crowded, the space gets pretty stuffy, and could benefit from better ventilation.

Q Café knows what they are doing when it comes to accessibility, community, a happy vibe, interesting art, good coffee and entertainment! While I’ve never seen this place in the daylight(I’ve only been to the Friday night shows), I can say that what I have experienced makes me wish this little warehouse café existed a decade ago when I lived in Queen Anne. They are doing a really good thing for the neighborhood and feature some serious talent! Even though Q Café is affiliated with the church next door, they don’t only showcase Christian(gospel) musicians, they have an eclectic variety of artists grace their stage every week. We’ve seen Ingrid Michaelson(pre-Old Navy commercial), William Fitzsimmons, Christopher Williams, Tyrone Wells, Mark Wagner and others. The place is really one big room that is small enough to feel intimate. Not a bad seat in the house. Way to go Q Café! You represent the best parts of Seattle culture well.
