Prestige Residential Construction

We met with several builders before hiring Prestige. From their first impression to the last nail that was driven they were consistently top notch!
We had a difficult remodel on the back side of an occupied tri-​plex rental in Fremont that required interior exposure during inclement weather and the holidays!
Not an easy task for a contractor, or a landlord, but Prestige made it happen.
Jason Nix, our Project Manager, was knowledgable and easy for us and the tenants to communicate with as well. Gary Tuthill, our lead carpenter, had great attention to detail and stayed a head of the issues with remodeling a building that had been remodeled several times prior — and the «surprises» that come with that territory.
Regular meetings kept us on track and on schedule.
The project had several surprises, design flaws, material snafus, and other bumps in the road that are all part of the remodel process and, from our experiences having done remodels before, expected. However, the absolute dedication that Prestige had to every detail was refreshing in an industry that has so many business claiming to know how to build — and they’d leave you hanging.
Prestige stuck with us through it all. We have very happy tenants and a safe, well built, remodel that has increased the usability of the building, reduced liability for us as owners and looks great!

We hired Prestige to do a very large remodel on our new home, which was built in 1908. Although their prices were high, this is DEFINITELY a case of you get what you pay for.

There was an error made by one of their subcontractors and they corrected it as soon as possible, working around our schedule, at their expense. They have maintained constant contact to ensure our satisfaction and correct any and all issues we have had. They have made suggestions and recommendations when appropriate but always deferred to us for final decision. We are going to remodel our basement and garage within the next few years and we wouldn’t dream of using anyone else.
If you are ready to put the money into a remodel and want it to turn out impeccably, I couldn’t recommend anyone more highly than Prestige.

I had a fairly small job and Prestige did a fabulous job. They were on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and the quality of the work was superb. I’ll be calling them again!

We first came across the work of Prestige when we happened past a neighborhood Victorian that had real, live plaster (not drywall!) repair work going on. We talked to the house’s owner a few months later, and saw all of the gorgeous restoration work that Prestige had completed. When our house was smashed by a tree in the 2007 windstorm, we knew who to call to get the repairs done right.
With contractors, you definitely get what you pay for, but if you care about work being done really well, on time, and in a period appropriate manner, call Prestige. They are professional, courteous, smart, and treat your property with care. That’s right– no one will chain smoke, trail mud through your house, or leave trash all over your yard! Who knew contractors could be like this?
