I went to Pintxo last night for an event related to releasing their new summer menu and was delighted at the quality of food as well as hospitality received. We started with a sampler that was a cod fritter with chickpea fried on the outside. This was delicious and gluten free as well. Next we had a cheese sampler to go with our wine and that was both flavorful and enjoyable too. I don’t eat meat, but the next plate was a course of pork with potatoes and seasonings, I can’t say that I tried that, but the presentation was excellent. My husband said that it had good flavor. We then had a dish with different colored beets and a yogurt-based mint sauce covering the bottom of the plate. This was okay in my opinion, but not something I would go out of my way to order. to complete the meal, we had a special paella with shrimp, fish, rice and other seasonings. This was the best part of the meal and was something that I wanted more than one plate full. Overall, I loved the ambiance and had a chance to meet the two owners and head chef and all were very excited to introduce these new dishes and it was obvious that this is something they were all passionate about. One of the best parts of the meal were the cocktails that went with it. My husband has a Moscow Mule, that was amazing, I had a Gin and Tonic with other added flavors that was super refreshing with all house made ingredients. Also, I asked if they had lemonade and if they could pair that with vodka. Our server came back with a glass of house-made lemonade, sparking and vodka that was one of the best I’ve had. For a place to be good at Tapas, you have to have good drinks to pair with it, this place is definitely on point with their mission of offering spanish-based tapas and drinks. I would recommend giving them a try if you haven’t already.

If you’re looking for a quick bite to eat, Pintxo is the right place for you. Great ambiance, fast service, even better happy hour menu, and great Spanish inspired cocktails. My personal favorite was this horchata cocktail they had a couple summers ago, I’m not sure if it’s still on the menu but definitely worth the ask for horchata addicts! It gets a little crowded some nights and most tables are reserved so you might want to call in advance just to make sure you get to experience Pintxo!

I use to love this place, service, ambiance and food. It’s been awhile and I was excited to go… the ambiance is still nice, minus the loud dj music from upstairs at 7:30 however they redid the little patio area which looks great! Dishes have gotten much smaller and so has the menu. We ordered the grilled octopus it was charred and rubbery. We returned it and they were gracious, however it took forever for a replacement dish to arrive. They took 10% off the bill which was appreciated. I’m sad that this once little gem is losing its charm.

The food was good — bacon wrapped dates, manchego cheese and lamb sliders. Slightly on the pricier end for the portion size. Drink — nothing out of this world. Service is where the stars begin to fade. The first lady was funny, engaging and attentive. There was a switch to another where she was a bit intrusive offering to take away my cheese before I was finished(hi there’s still 3 cubes there) and then brought the check before we asked. Reading you signals loud and clear. It’s one thing if there’s a line out the door but there were still tables available and no one waiting. Making customers feel rushed when there’s no reason to is unfortunate.

Passed by this place many times and finally made it in with some friends visiting from out of town! I love a tapas menu and this did not disappoint in the least! The restaurant is fairly small — narrow but long — so make a reservation, but the atmosphere is pretty casual. I think they might also have a small room in the back for a private party? Our whole party(6) could not get enough of the bacon wrapped dates; many, many plates of those were ordered. We ordered a ton of other items off the menu and loved it all! Would happily come back here and hope to do so soon!

Happy hour is a culinary delight. The Moscow mules rock. I asked them to warm the olive appetizer and they did it perfectly. I give them a rave review. Great wait staff and kitchen crew.

The food is brilliant. The marinated manchego is eye opening. The bacon med jool dates are sublime. The blood sausage was fantastic. The tortilla and duck confit were among the best I’ve ever had. And the house sangria was perfectly spiced. I can’t wait to come back. Again and again.

The food here was awesome! The croquetas are the best I’ve ever had, and I lived in Spain. The tortilla was good as well; the sauce it was served with hit wonderfully. Bacon wrapped dates had garnishes that turned out to be delicious, though it only comes with three. As a cherry on top, I had mentioned where we were heading afterward, and I realized shortly after I arrived at the next place that I’d forgotten my shopping bag. As I turned to leave, the bartender from pinxto, Nichole, arrived at the next place with my bag.

Rude and slow service, really bad experience, including average food, save your time and money and go somewhere else. They were also out of half the things we wanted, making for a small menu selection. Very disappointed with the customer experience. Worst restaurant experience EVER.

I held a private corporate happy hour for 40 guests at Pintxo and it was a phenomenal value and smashing success. The highlights: — Amanda’s warmth and professionalism — Delicious food(Amanda made menu recommendations which was really helpful for me) — Custom printed food and drink menus placed around the restaurant so guests knew what they were eating and could make their drink selections — Cozy space with a really nice vibe — Great location for our crowd + street parking — At the end of the party Amanda already had all of our leftovers boxed up and ready to go(I love it when people anticipate my needs!) I will absolutely be back — both for future corporate events and for hanging out with friends/family.

We went in for an early dinner, so getting a seat wasn’t a problem. We were greeted quickly, and sat at corner table with a view of everything going on. The service was amazing, our server took the time to go over the menu with us, and advise on what her favorites were. Our glasses of wine came out quickly, and our bottle of water was never empty. The only reason I can’t give another star– the food was lack luster! We ordered several plates, and nothing was more than mediocre. The steak skewers lacked any flavor, the chimichuri was bland, and our meatballs tasted as if they were your run of the mill frozen cocktail party meatball. It would be great to get the service we received everywhere we go… However, I wouldn’t be able to go back based on the food that came to our table.

I’ve been to Pintxo on many occasions — both on dates and just for the food by myself. I can’t list all the dishes I’ve had here, but I’ve never been disappointed by anything on the menu — everything is «above average» tapas. They have art on the walls for sale, which sometimes you can find some really nice stuff in there.

I visited Pintxo last night and left the place impressed. The customer service was on point, and that always comes first for me. Everyone on staff was friendly and really seemed to be enjoying what they do. I had their duck sliders and(oh my goodness) they were delicious. I also had a nice glass of red wine. I ended up ordering a second round of the ducks. If you’re looking for a very low key spot for tapas, I definitely recommend you visiting Pintxo for their food, drinks and friendly customer service. Cinco estrellas!

I would rate my dinner at Pinxto as «ok» — there were some hits and definitely some misses. Hits: *Chicken skewers — they were moist, flavorful and served with a nice fennel and kale salad *Patatas bravas — Pinxto’s version of this dish is one of the best I’ve ever had. The tomato sauce was smoky and just a bit spicy and the garlic aioli was perfect. *Good wine list with relatively reasonable prices Just okay: *Flat iron steak skewers — the meat was really tender but the sauces were pretty flavorless *Albondingas — a great sauce but the meatballs were tough, overcooked and rubbery *Gambas — great flavors but 6 tiny shrimp were not worth $ 10 Misses: *Chickpeas — this sucks because the actual flavors were amazing but the chickpeas were woefully undercooked *Service — it wasn’t busy when we ate here yet our service was inattentive. We weren’t checked back on, or I’d have sent the chickpeas back and a glass of wine was ordered yet never appeared as our server spent most of her time chatting it up with co workers at the bar. Really disappointing. Overall, it’s a cute little place with generally reasonable prices. I’d go back if someone wanted to but it wouldn’t be a top pick for sure, especially with all of the other great options in the area.

We were looking for a place near our place to grab a light dinner and came across this small tapas bar. It was a weekend, so we called ahead and made a reservation just in case. The place itself was pretty crowded, and there was only one waiter/server working at the time so he was running around trying to get everyone their drinks and tapas plates. At times it was hard to get his attention, and the wait was a bit long for some of our orders. Everything on the menu sounded great, so we ended up trying about 9 different tapas plates. Our favorites included– –Patatas Bravas: Fried potatoes in an aioli sauce(very filling and a large portion for a tapas plate) –Croquetas de Jamon Serrano: Ham & bechamel croquettes(creamy fried pillows of potatoes mixed with ham) –Gambas pil-pil: Prawns sauteed in a butter, chili pepper, garlic, & sherry suace(mouthwatering, savory prawns. if only they sold the sauce by the bottle) –Duck confit: Succulent boneless duck leg, slow cooked in its own fat & wrapped in proscuitto and served with a burnt orange-sherry reduction and aioli(just wish there was more piled high on top of the toast) And we also got a liter of red sangria which paired well with the food that we picked.

Casual ambiance and spectacular service, but food was certainly not worth the price tag. Docked a few stars for that reason. There was no ‘wow’ factor in any of the dishes and portions were very very small. Yes, tapas serves wide variety of appetizers/small dishes and that we should expect small portions. I’ve been to other tapas restaurants and portions were not this miniscule though, especially w the price they charge. Just be aware that if you are one hungry soul, this is not the place for you. We had a party of four and just to give you some perspective, our check came out to total around $ 123 plus tax. Sadly, we left the restaurant feeling inadequate wanting substantial dinner and ended up hitting a second restaurant.

Awesome happy hour. Delicious Moscow Mules for $ 5, slice of tortilla(like frittata), $ 3 drafts, etc. Surprised to get a seat right away on a Friday night. Definitely think we scored. Great casual ambiance to bring a small group or a date. Will easily come here for many date nights to come.

Was wandering about in Belltown looking for a Happy Hour, we tried another place but it was too packed and came up onto this place. What a great choice! Nice little spot in Belltown off 2nd, real close to Bedlam Coffee and a bunch of popular places across the street. Plenty of seats and not busy at all, we decided to sit at the bar near the door to catch a little of the breeze since it was so hot out. Nice bartender greeted us with some Happy Hour options, they have specials listed on the board as well. We decided to order a sangria and some beers to cool off. The sangria was tasty, not too sweet, you can taste the wine and it was a great drink on a hot day. Onto the food, at first we only ordered the marinated manchego cheese and the lamb kefta sliders. WHOA!!! Manchego cheese was delicious, cut up into little cubes with olive oil, tasty chopped mini candied walnuts, and wonderful minced garlic all up in there. There’s quite a bit of garlic flavor, but i thought it was perfect amount and it was so delicious!!! Lamb kefta sliders were great as well, the HH offering comes with 2 sliders cooked to order, tasty lamb with Moroccan spice on it, nice roasted pepper to top with some micro greens and some aioli on a delicious brioche bun. Its a bonus to sit at the bar and watch the chef cook your order. We were quite impressed how good the food was and it got our engines started, so we decided to try one more dish. So we got the«tortilla». It was a tasty potato & onion omelette served like a cake slice. Served at room temp with a nice drizzle of olive oil & aioli with candied artichoke pieces on top. Impressed again and would definitley order it a hundred more times. Chatting and drinking away, we saw a popular dish the chef was always preparing and figured it was the Choricitos… little mini chorizo sausages(Looked like lil’ smokies). We kept on ooohing & ahhhing how good it looked, and the nice chef finally had enough of our drooling and decided to give us a free sample. And boy was it delicious!!! Little mini chorizo sausages in a delicious honey sauce eaten with toothpicks. Thanks Mr. Chef! Overall, we had a great time here, enjoyed the food very much, service was great with refills of water, checking on any more drinks, removing any plates, chef was super cool too giving us a free sample. Pricing was fine and a place to put on the list for Happy Hours.
