Moorea Seal

I recently ordered several copies of the 52 Lists Project. Unfortunately I met a snafu with the USPS shipping. However, the customer service provided by the Moorea Seal team was outstanding. Jessie handled this issue and was pleasant and helpful throughout the whole process; keeping me updated frequently. Definitely a satisfied customer.

Moorea is an okay store at best. The customer service is where this store is lacking, although I’ve been in the store when the owner is there, and she is really very friendly, which is why I didn’t give this a 2 star rating.
Alas, I went in here with every intention of buying something, and while browsing, the girls in the store talked about their personal lives and didn’t offer me any help or ask if I had any questions. When I left they sounded really tawdry. If some people get good service here, I wonder if they are very judgmental based on how you look? (Welcome to many businesses in the Belltown area. They are a dime a dozen here.)
The store does have some beautiful rings, boots, and candles, but it does not have something for everyone. It is on the hipster, cliché side, and I can’t imagine everyone and their mother having that style. I may be back despite my last visit, but the likelihood of me bringing my business here is much lower. As I left, the girl said, «I knew she wasn’t going to buy anything…» I wonder how much of your projection made that a reality?

Fab selection, fab customer service — the whole package. I ordered a hat I was really excited about and unfortunately a shipping issue caused it to have extra charges. I sent in an email to see what the issue was, and was taken care of within an hour. My original order was shipped the same day I placed the order. Definitely recommended!

I found Moorea Seal while browsing Instagram and have been a fan ever since! It was great to finally visit their store during my last visit to Seattle and it’s just as beautiful as their IG photos! I love everything they have here. Their collection is well curated from stationary, jewelry, tote bags and different trinkets… And I especially love how there’s a philanthropic donation to each purchase (esp on their website).
I left the store with a necklace and a couple stationary items; I definitely plan to buy more from them through their website and hope to return again!

This shop is my go-​to whenever I need to buy a gift, or when I have nothing particular in mind but know I am looking for something interesting and pretty. There are enough reasonably priced pieces that I pick up a thing or two whenever I go in; there are some more expensive items (but still… reasonably expensive!!) that I keep my eye on whenever a special purchase is in order. I sent my brother the website and told him to pick my christmas gift out from there — he must have done it during the month of december and had no issues ordering and receiving the item. Moorea is a legit artist, but is also proving herself a legit entrepreneur and tasteful curator!

Fantastic store! So glad I stumbled across this on my way home. The pieces are all unique, well-​curated, and well-​designed; pricing is fair as well. Definitely a gem in this city.

Very beautiful store! I’ve been following Moorea through her blog and instagram for a while so I was excited to visit since we just moved here. Moorea was super friendly and showed us around. Her collection is extremely well curated and she even sells some jewelry that she has designed and created herself! As soon as I get paid I’m definitely going to treat myself here.

With stores like Design Within Reach, Object, and Peter Miller in the neighborhood, Moorea Seal’s store is a perfect addition to Seattle’s design scene.

This shop is a treasure. Come for the lovely pieces at every price point. Stay for the warm, genuine service offered by Moorea and her staff.
It’s unlikely that you won’t find what you’re looking for, but if so, the team will be sure to find a way to hook you up. Support local artists and female-​run, small business all in just one stop!

I like the store. It’s a nice space and her jewelry pieces are beautiful, especially her stone pieces. However, customer service is slightly lacking. I went in ordering a necklace and it was never made. One of the sale associates said she would call when ready and she never did. I also signed up for notification to let me know when it was in stock and I never got a notification. I went into the store to ask about it. They said it will be made for me (custom order) but it wasn’t made. They initially didn’t ask for my name or number. I went back a second time, and it wasn’t made as promised, but at least this time they asked for my number. They never called as promised. So, I just gave up on it. Her stock runs out quickly. So, I guess just purchase on the spot if you can… It will likely take her a long time to restock or not restock at all. It also seems notification of restocking isn’t helpful
