Close to the hotel that my family is staying at. Had no real expectations when we arrived. For what you get, the food is a bit pricey for then crust. The pizza has a bunch of options for toppings and sauces that allows you to customize your pie to your specific palate. They only offer thin crust though. Staff was both friendly and responsive. Think this would have been a little better if they offered a full bar and some tunes. Overall not bad and will suffice if you are in the mood for pizza and not willing to travel far. Lastly, not sure of the parking situation(we walked) but restaurant is located near the corner of a intersection of two main roads in downtown Seattle.

I give this place a five star except the lines drive me crazy. They need to open up another register or something. There’s no reason to wait in line an hour for pizza. Seriously. On a good note, I love the pizza here. I like that my pizza can be custom made to my liking, with fresh ingredients, and good tasty dough.

It’s flatbread or pizza, but it could just be more fantastic in DT Seattle. It was just whatever and with three types to try it was again, whatever.

I went here on Friday and they had amazing pizza, super fast too! My friend and I split a medium and it was filling for both of us, good value too. Only bummer was no customers seperated their recycling!

Any toppings, same price. Build your own stone-oven baked pizza right on the spot. I crossed the border so that an overseas guest can experience the Seattle Space Needle. As he was experiencing the gloomy, rainy views of Seattle(sorry, it was a super wet day), the Boy and I sped walked/ran to the nearby MOD pizza and joined the long line of people placing their salad/pizza order. We’ve had only one MOD pizza before around a year ago and every since then the Boy has been talking non stop about MOD, quietly obssessing and counting down the days before he could eat another MOD pizza again. We ordered two pizzas and a salad. Ordered alot of ingredients from the menu and waited all but 5 minutes before our pizzas were ready. Pizza was fresh, ingredients were fresh. Thin crust and customized to your taste buds! The salad was pretty awesome too, but it was weird eating a slice of salami with my lettuce(my bad, I chose that). Entire wait plus pick up pizza time was less than 15 minutes. By the time the out of town guest was down his tour of the Space Needle, the Boy and I only left him with a small morsel of food. I wish Canada had a MOD Pizza because I would go every single day!

Decent pricing for great pizza! Had the #2(can’t remember name) but it had pepperoni and sausage on it. My friend also got a vanilla milkshake with cookie dough and toffee. It was flavorful and thick!

Tons of food/drinks for good price. Ordered: max Winston pizza, mini garlic strips, chocolate shake and pitcher of draft beer. Me and my boyfriend enjoyed everything and the atmosphere was great. Definitely will recommend to family and friends!

I loved my pizza from here! It is a solid size for a personal pizza, and they have gluten free crust available although given the nature of the setup, I wouldn’t come here with Celiac. I like the model of one price no matter the toppings. They also have interesting toppings — I had everything from fresh basil to dairy free cheese to a balsamic fig drizzle. There was a line, but it moves pretty quickly. Atmosphere leaves something to be desired, but the pizza is delicious(and reasonably priced — I think gluten free was an extra $ 2), so we will be back!

So cool you can put Brussel sprouts on pizza! They forgot an ingredient. They tried really hard to make everything up. They offered a free drink and redid the order. Great experience.

While visiting Seattle recently I ate at MOD(made on demand) twice. Basically, it’s a thin crust pizza cooked in a brick over. I think the wait is maybe 5 minutes after ordering? It’s fast. They have set pizzas that you can order and modify. Or you can select your own ingredients. They do red sauce, white sauce, they have fresh ingredients, and some not typical ingredients that totally elevates the pizza experience. Artichoke hearts, anyone? You can dine in or do take away. Very convenient and the staff is super friendly. I was happy to hear they are expanding into So Cal soon.

Couldn’t ask for much better. Very fresh, tasty and friendly service. Also, I really appreciate the fact that you can customize your own pizza at no additional cost. I tried the mad dog which was superb. Being from NYC I was craving pizza on my trip and this place more then delivered. It’s very light tasting, unlike some of the heavier slices I’m accustomed to. So glad I found this place ! Will definitely see if thy have one back home.

Hot, fresh thin crust pizza from a brick oven at a very reasonable price. Not a hang-out place, just eat and go. Food: 4.5÷5 — fresh ingredients baked on traditional thin crust at very high temps make this really good. It is not of course, the best traditional crust around with fancy Italian certified 00 flour, etc but it is a damn tasty substitute at a price that you don’t have to think twice about. Service: 4⁄5 — the acoustics are bad here. Line servers sometimes can’t hear you or mistake what they hear which means you have to yell over all of the other people already yelling. Just belt it out and all will be fine. Atmosphere: 3⁄5 — REALLYLOUD not meant for hanging out, but good for a quick bite. This is a cacophonous space even when only ¼ of the seats are filled. Throw a few loud talkers in the mix and you are doomed — or very entertained for a while depending on your attitude. :) Have another beer(they have 2 on tap) and listen in to the woes of the world around you while you chew. Perfect for satisfying your hunger quickly at a great price in downtown.

Great pizza, Great customer service. I ordered a gluten free lucky sunshine pizza and deluxe salad. They informed me they made a mistake and made the pizza regular crust, so offered that pizza for me to take, made me a fresh gluten free and also gave me a gift card for a free pizza my next visit. The pizza was delicious, as was the salad. I will definitely stop back the next time I’m in Seattle.

I was looking for a casual eat-in or takeout place and stumbled upon MOD Pizza because it was close to my hotel. They have salads and pizzas and you can customize to your liking. I had the basic 11″ cheese pizza and added mild sausage as the topping. Dining partner had a half white half red pizza with cheese. The employees were really friendly even when the line got long. I was mildly bummed with they accidentally dropped my pizza on the floor moving it from the oven to the counter, but they had another ready for me within minutes. Pizza was good and filling. I’d recommend it for a casual lunch or dinner spot.

First time at this one and very impressed with the speed, service, and food. MOD-sized pizza is a bit larger than most places’ individual-sized pizzas. Nothing is pre-made. Like they advertise, everything is cooked fresh while you wait(10 min?) and pay. The staff keeps the line moving quickly the whole time. Caspian pizza(BBQ chicken and red onions) is a hit, even though it may seem like the ingredients wouldn’t go together. Make sure you grab the right pizza – a lot come out at the same time when they’re busy, and its easy to be handed the wrong one. Highly recommend and will return.

This is the very first MOD Pizza… ever…opened back in 2008. Great downtown Seattle located, right across the street from Union Square. Cool, minimalistic interior with their music playing of course; an awesome playlist of 1000+ songs including The Clash, Ramones, The Beatles baby, and many more MOD tunes playing(in every store location). A lot of people call MOD the Chipotle of pizza; however, as someone who is not a fan of Chipotle I would never dare insult MOD in such a way. Sure, the concept is similar, but IMHO the food at MOD is FAR superior. Make your way down the assembly line of sorts and build-your-own. Loads of meats and fresh veg to choose from, and several different sauces. If you’re indecisive like I can be at times, I recommend perusingthe menu online prior to visiitng. Dairy free cheese? You bet! For those of you on the Gluten Free wagon(PSA on the day: ~1% of peeps have Celiac or are Gluten intolerant), GF crust = check. Or try from one of MOD’s several tasty creations like the«Mad Dog» or «Caspian.» Standard pizzas are all 11′ for one price, but they do have a mini 6″ BYO option for those days when you feel a little less hungry… or wanna be «gluttony free.» With their ovens burning at a scorching 800 degrees, the pies come out perfectly cooked in a mere 3 minutes. Super fast, really good fresh eats! Tips: *Eat in or carry out only. No delivery — anywhere. **MOD recently opened 3 locations within the last quarter in Austin, TX and people are going 5-star crazy made for it. So, if you’re a Seattleite and find yourself in the«Live Music Capital of the World’ craving a taste of home(sans all of the amazeballs seafood) you do have options. ;) [143 in 2015]

Absolutely love MOD and the experience is consitent across the entire chain. Really good, thin crust pizza with one price no matter the toppings.

I’ve been here many times now. It is OUR stop for lunch when we come to town. Always delicious and the atmosphere is amazing! The staff is super nice. They messed up our order once and looking back it was probably all my fault anyway for ordering it wrong and they let me keep it PLUS made a new one for free! Highly highly recommend

I really like the concept of this restaurant! You walk in and order whatever toppings you want for your pizza(the price doesn’t change no matter how many toppings you choose) and then they make it fresh for you. Another reviewer described it like a «subway» but with pizza and I have to agree! The mini pizzas are the perfect size and only $ 5! A great deal for someone on a budget! My boyfriend and I went to MOD wanting a quick dinner after getting back to the Hilton(right across the street) and I saw that this place had pretty good reviews. We went on a week night almost towards closing and there were only 2 people working so the service was kind of slow, however, the team members were really friendly and took the time to explain how to order. We both ordered mini pizzas(mine with pepperoni and pineapple and his with pepperoni, olives and jalapenos). The pizzas have a super thin crust, and unfortunately ours were cooked a bit too long and had burnt edges(see the photo) but they didn’t taste bad. I also had a chocolate milkshake(super chocolately!) and my boyfriend had a Manny’s Pale Ale. Our entire dinner came out to under $ 20 — the cheapest meal we had while visiting Seattle. I would definitely give this restaurant another try the next time I’m in town.

Gosh, I totally forgot to try this place. A MOD pizza opened up the street from me when I used to live in Portland, but never got to try it out. Glad I came in to have lunch here yesterday… about $ 8 for a regular sized personal pizza. Perfect lunch size! Flat rate for the size with any toppings you want to add. I got the«Jasper» and added extra mushrooms, arugula and spinach. Pay, go get your drink, sit down and they will call your name when ready. Pizza was definitely tasty and the ingredients are fresh and delicious. I think, if you add too many toppings it may fall apart as the crust is pretty thin and cracker like. As some others have mentioned, it’s kind of like a Chipotle set up. Will definitely be putting into my lunch rotation. Line got pretty long after 1130am. Regular tables and long tables to sit at with strangers, if that’s your cup of tea.
