Fun atmosphere, decent pizza, needs more service. I have been here twice and I love the casual vibe in an elegant atmosphere. A great place for happy hour. Only one server/bartender though for the whole area. I noticed this for the two times I came here. They could definitely use another person to take orders and bring out drinks. Happy hour is decent for after work. Prices seem to be in line for the area. Parking on the street.

This place was alright, but I won’t be adding it to my list of repeat places. We went on a Friday night and the place was very busy, which is great for them. However, there was one waitress manning both the bar and the entire seating area and managing takeout orders. So needless to say, service was slow. The appetizers(mozz sticks) were nothing to write home about. The pizza was pretty good, we especially liked the crust. The price seems a bit high though for a 14″ pizza.

Me and my friend came here on 01÷15÷16 at 10:30. We encounter the worst human on the planet for a waitress. We stood by the door for 10 minutes and she never came to us, just ushered us to sit where ever. Than I ask here where the bathroom is than she gave me an very unprofessional look. I than ask if we can order food and she came with a why are you here look. This is the most unprofessional restaurant I have ever been in Seattle. She needs to be fired! Don’t worry I will let Jess know! Stay far away this place if you want to be treated like a human. Where is the management letting this person work for them.

This is a great restaurant, conveniently located across the street from Town Hall, which is a venue I frequent. They have woodfired pizzas, some small plates, salads and a full bar. Though the place is not large, it is beautiful. It’s in an old hotel, and the interior reflects such, but has some dazzle with a large chandelier that hangs in the middle of the restaurant. The pizzas are very, very good, but know that it takes at least 30 minutes to cook. This is also mentioned on the menu, as a warning, which I thought was smart. But if you can wait for it, you will be glad you ordered the pizza, as they are loaded with tons of the toppings and crust is handmade. The Chopped Salad is also really good, and is usually what I order when here. Usually there is only one bartender/server on a slower night for the entire place so service can get slightly slow, but they always do their best handling all the tables. Their happy hour begins at 9PM, which has really good deals on the food since it’s on the pricier side, and beer and wine is also cheap.

HH pizza prices on the signs and menu raised and no longer $ 10 ., Tack on required drink and its a min $ 20 –25 bill. even the Corleone family behaved better than this. update Sazerac has $ 10 pizza HH. Only about 5 blocks away on 5th Avenue. See my review of them.

I tried this place my second week after moving to Seattle from out of state. I had the Mushroom truffle pizza. it was wonderful. I brought home the leftovers and had them the next day and it was still great. I will be back more as it is right down the street from my apartment. Great ambiance and good attentive service.

Hit the jackpot on the first visit. Was there at 5 pm, right on time for happy hour!!!(M-F 5 – 6 and 9-close) Margherita, Fontina & Chevre, or Pepperoni 14″ pizzas were $ 10! What a deal! I’m a big fan of Margherita pizza, so I had to order that. Decided to do Fontina & Chevre as well as the waitress recommended it. They were AMAZING!!! I seriously can’t wait to go back for more! You know how sometimes thin pizzas have really crispy crusts, like, so crispy that they scrape the roof of your mouth? Not these pizzas! The crusts were cloudy soft. The Fontina & Chevre was the bomb! I loved, loved, loved it. It was a little greasy, but I didn’t mind that at all. I tasted garlic in it too. Again, I love. Also had vodka and pineapple for $ 5. I liked the interior a lot. It was a small, but they really know how to maximize their space. Definitely will go back again for moreeeeeee.

Ordered for delivery: Margherita pizza Chicken wings Mozzarella sticks Cherry tomato & burrarata cheese & Pelegrino The wings were solid, good texture and taste The mozzarella they use on all their items is fresh and über tasty! Unfortunately, Unilocal’s EAT24 app gave our driver the wrong delivery address,(took an 1.5hrs) late delivery… All items arrived cold, & drinks room temp. Also, Did not receive plates and and requested condiments. Overall, I guess it wasn’t all bad. So they get an ok.

I really wanted to like this place. I’m so over domino’s and chain pizza places, so when I moved to capitol hill I wanted to find a good local place I could get regularly. This is not that place. The Pizza took over an hour to get here and the place is only .7 miles away from me. Once it arrived the pizza was on the colder side of room temperature(the driver pulled it out of his trunk and not in a heating bag) and didn’t look look too appetizing. We threw it back in the oven and crisped it up a bit. The pizza was actually pretty good once we heated it up! Buuuuut, it’s not worth the long wait, expensive price($ 32.00 for one pizza) and cold pizza for me to order it again.

Great option for pizza delivery in downtown Seattle. This place is super yummy, and a far superior option, rather than average chain pizza joints.

A really authentic tasting pie, a big plus for the quality pizza and slightly confused frown over the stromboli which is almost the price of a pizza but a lot less food and more like a large Hot Pocket. If you arrive in time for happy hour, you will enjoy far more reasonable prices on the pizza, and a decent selection of beers on draft.

The pizza is pretty good but I had to take my score all the way down to 2 because of the poor service. Both times I’ve been there the waitresses were very unfriendly with sour expressions on their faces almost the entire time. In fact, the second time I went there on a double date, I smiled at her multiple times and she didn’t even smile back – almost like she had an issue with me for no reason. My friend noticed the same thing and later we noticed that she was only smiling at my boyfriend and actually flirting with him! Then she just assumed he was footing the whole bill and handed him the check without asking. Wtf? I work at a postal office which is very stressful and customers can be very mean and cranky, and still I make an effort to smile and say hello to everyone. Very basic stuff.

Great little place with outdoor seating and a charming little interior. Good happy hour deals. Food is like bourgeois pizzeria. Not exactly gourmet but they gave it the old college try. They could use more staff sometimes.

Visiting here in Seattle and this was my favorite meal so far. My fiancé and I shared a Primo Classic pizza(regular cheese pizza) and a spinach and artichoke stromboli. Both were great! The pizza was not too thin nor too thick and heavy. The drinks(sweet ice tea and Arnold Palmer) were nice and refreshing. The waitstaff was friendly and on top of things. Over all a great place to eat. I would recommend and would defintiely eat here again in the future

We live pretty close to Primo and eat there often. If you live in First Hill, you know that you’re relatively close to a lot of places in Capitol Hill and Downtown but sometimes you don’t feel like walking 12 blocks for dinner. If you’re right in the middle of First Hill, there are very few options for food but fortunately most of them are pretty good. For what it’s worth, Primo is tied with Vito’s for my favorite food and drinks in the immediate walking area. Their website might make you worry that this is one of those ultra fancy, exclusive, and cooler-than-cool hipster joints you’d find in the spendy part of Capitol Hill but in reality it’s very unassuming, comfortable, welcoming, and relaxed. The inside is relatively small but not cramped and I’ve never been there when it is less than half full. There’s a bar along the back wall with sports games du jour playing on them but most people end up at the candled tables around the room deep in conversation over draft beer, whiskey cocktails, or house red wine. The food is fantastic at Primo and I can vouch for the pizza(I don’t even like pizza and I love theirs), pasta(it’s masterfully prepared), and the happy hour appetizers(if you’re itchin for some deep fried cheese or riffs on Italian favorites, they can’t be beat). They’ve got some standard pizzas for the adventurous types and the conservative and they’ve also got a few that are downright funky in a good way. Rumor has it that they make Thai pizzas but they aren’t on the menu nor can you order them in person but if you google their address a delivery-only menu shows up. I keep meaning to explore that… The service is just fine though sometimes not particularly chatty. My former Texas self finds it rude to not inquire how others are doing and make conversation but in true Seattle style, the answers are polite but short. That’s ok, I suppose I didn’t come in for the rousing conversation anyway! The wait staff is kind and responsive and that’s about all I require in a good night out. The reason this isn’t a full 5-star review is because of the prices. I’ve been in Seattle long enough to know that everything is arbitrarily inflated to take advantage of the big tech salaries but a 14″ pizza with 3 toppings shouldn’t cost more than $ 20 unless one of those toppings is black truffle or foie gras. It’s really, really easy to spend $ 50+ on two people here and that’s what keeps us from going more often. It’s great food and a great atmosphere but it’s way too spendy to build the kind of bust-the-door-down repeat customer base. If they came down about 20% on prices of food(drinks are totally in line with market rate already), I think they’d move a crazy amount of product and would make it that much easier to meet my buddies here after work 3 times a week instead of once every two weeks. Give it a shot, you won’t regret it!

The pizza here is really good — nice crust(crispy at edges and soft toward the middle) with fresh ingredients. In particular, we like the prosciutto, onion and chèvre pizza and a pepperoni with black olives and pineapple. The mac and cheese is good too — as is the garlic bread. There are a few tables outside during nice weather — otherwise there are tables inside and bar seating. It’s in a 1930s building, so it’s quaint(aside from the TVs — there are few tables you can sit at to avoid the TVs). The bench along the left-side wall is too low for the tables — so you feel like you’re a child sitting at the«big kids table». They could remedy this by adding pillows or lowering the tables. The service has been consistently slow and not real friendly. However, since it’s blocks from our place and the pizza is very good, we continue go back.

The place has a great venue, unfortunate the pizza is closer to overly cheesy bread with a soggy crust. The lighting is very pleasant with inset borders and a well lit chandelier to top off the look. Outdoors has a romantic feeling with its floral designed black metal tables and vines climbing up the brick wall and a trellis. Be warned, the place has two or three seemingly out-of-place large tvs mounted on the wall, so it may not really be the best place to take your significant other on a date, unless you enjoy a different kind of wooing during your conversation.
