This was my first visit, on a Tuesday evening around 7pm. Things were quiet at first, quite lovely. I had a nice seat by the window. My waiter was attentive, polite, and nice. The wine was brought promptly. Then a cooking class started in the next room. A boisterous and distracting cooking class. The instructor was loud, the participants louder. The quiet broken, I tried to distract myself… and someone(not the nice waiter — a cook? the owner?) chastised me for looking at my phone while waiting for my food. Seriously? And then there was a smell of cigarette smoke while eating, perhaps drawn in from the alley. A shame, as the wine and food were decent, and had it stayed quiet I would have had a nice dinner. I get that they likely made more money off the cooking class than me, but have the class in a different room or something, and let me eat in peace.

Luigi was a great host, and easy to hear and understand. The meatballs were phenomenal, and had Proseco champagne to go with, which is delicious. The pizza was wonderful, and there was plenty extra, with a tasty beer. The gelato and espresso ‘Afogado’ is the best thing on the planet, and lastly the pasta was good. Not the highlight of the trip but it’s fun to watch it get made and the wine is tasty, all in a cozy restaurant. I would recommend this little tour to anyone.

I was prepared that it won’t be very fun since I read the review on Unilocal already. Here’s what you will get for the food: 1) a piece of bread+meatball on top, sparkling wine 2) a slice of pizza + some beer 3) a small cup of coffee shot with very little vanilla ice cream(?) 4) very little pasta+ red wine Here are the bad stuff… 1) You can’t really hear him given that he gives his tour on the street. With all the traffic and strangers passing by that yelled at him, you get distracted too easily. 2) He didn’t have any sound system like savor Seattle did, so ya again, you can’t hear him. He’s too cheap to get those to improve the quality of the tour. 3) You get very little food, and he does tell you that each person can only get one slice of pizza blah blah. and they prepared the exact amount for each person, so there’s no extra ever 4) The eating places are too small, such as his restaurant and the other café. Therefore, some people have to sit very far(ie cannot hear him again) or have to find themselves chairs to sit. Again, it’s awkward. 5) He talked way too much at the beginning on the street when it’s freezing outside. He should have spread it our instead. 6) The original price of the tour is $ 33, we bought the voucher for $ 26, he charged $ 3 for tax and $ 6 for gratuity, so we paid $ 35 total. yes, 6/33= 18%, so he requested you to pay him 18% tip regardless how little food you get or whether you could hear him or not. 7) He will make sure you pay by standing by the door, and you can’t get out of the restaurant if you don’t pay him. He doesn’t even look at your voucher. I suggest you print your friend’s used vouchers and go to the tour, in that case you are only paying $ 9 for the amount of stuff you get, which is slightly overprice as well, but it’s okay. In conclusion, if you’ve already bought the voucher. that’s too bad. I suggest you ask your friends to share the cost by printing extra vouchers for them since he doesn’t check them. All he wanted was his 18% tip… I don’t recommend this tour since you get almost no food and you’ve actually learned everything that he’ll tell you in your history class. On the other hand, I highly recommend the Savor Seattle tour. It was like 10 times if not 20 times better than this tour, and I actually paid 20% tip cuz they’re very good, and we don’t mind tipping for good service. Bye buh, Little Italy tour. such a scam!

I bought a Groupon for a tour of «Little Italy» in Seattle… who even knew we had a little Italy. I think calling it this completely under tells the story of this tour. Our little Italy is not like New York’s or even San Francisco but Luigi Denunzio will make you feel completely satisfied and longing for more of Italy with his knowledge of the history and culture of Italy and this countries love affair with food. Delicious nibbles along the way left me longing for more. It was a completely wonderful afternoon, I would highly recommend you do this tour!

AMAZING pizza!!! I don’t know how they do it. My boyfriend and I almost walked past this gem because it looked a little sketchy to be honest. But this hole in the wall is a must. My mouth is watering just remembering the amazing pie we had! We tried the Four Seasons pizza and it was to die for! Don’t miss this spot if your going to Seattle!
