Kristos, I don’t understand you. I have had your burger. Decent burger. I would get that again. I have had your drinks. Not very stiff, and the pricetag left *me* feeling a little stiffed. I’ve experienced your fries. I would definitely get those again. Win on that front. But… Your gyros. I’ve had your gyros. Don’t sell those gyros. Really. Truly. What was that awful, flacid, microwaved pile of meat? Aren’t you supposed to be a Greek restaurant/bar? Shame on you for serving that. I could not even eat it. *shudder* I’ve been there during brunch at Decibel — the breakfast buffet food was good. Good ambiance. I’ve been there for late night happy hour… Interesting shiny-shirt crowd. It’s kinda as though belltown got lost. You have a trendy feel, but you’re trying to be a sports bar? Or are you a Greek restaurant? Or are you a… What are you, exactly? I think you need to have a sit-down with yourself and really figure this out. Good luck to you, Kristos. Maybe once you’ve had some discoveries about yourself, I’ll come try you again. Till then, adiós, and seriously… Fix your gyro or take it off the menu. It’s the worst gyro I’ve ever had.

My guy and I have been to Kristos for a number of weekday late dinners when the place is slow and quiet. On each visit, we entertain ourselves by trying to figure out what Kristos is going for. They serve Greek food, which is decent and we are always satisfied with our meals. Interior is packed with funky art deco and sculptures protruding from the walls that we can’t stop staring at because it’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen anywhere(I believe Kristos refers to this as their«Gallery»). Music is hit or miss with 90’s pop, 80’s rap or even a little Brittany Spears. Service is usually attentive and friendly unless there are 3 – 4 college co-eds hanging out in the bar. We’re not as bootylicious as college co-eds, so we always take second fiddle to them. They have an early and late happy hour with $ 4.00 salads and $ 6.00 burgers/sandwiches, which is a pretty sweet deal. We’ll continue to hit Kristos up during their slow hours and maybe grab some brunch just because they are in our ‘hood.

You don’t have to read any of the other part of my review but do read this next sentence. The service was horrendous and I was in a party of 13 and they automatically put a 25% gratuity to our bill!!! Oh yes. 25%%!!! I eat at restaurants all the time and have NEVER heard of a 25% gratuity! I was in the restaurant industry all of college and understand that gratuity for large parties is necessary at many times… but for awful service and still be forced to pay 25%! That’s steep! The food was mediocre. I probably wouldn’t crave it again but everything was the normal regenerated frozen bar food with a few fresh touches. The hummus was awful. The portions were small for the price and my party all went to Dick’s after for some delicious, greasy burgers! Overall: Bleh. Meh. No Spank You.

Went there with a group of friends to do some afternoon drinking and appetizing and the manager sat down to join us. After he repeatidly insisted we get another round, we, like I’m sure many would, started thinking«Ok perhaps he’s being nice, enjoying our company and opting to comp these, super cool saturday!» If that were the case, it would’ve gotten 5 stars. He ordered food for our table, insisted on «xyz» way too spendy cocktails and then charged us for everything. NOTCOOLDUDE. Best of luck, Kristos. Your greek fries with feta will soon be a distant memory.(Fry note: They seem to come out of a bag of frozens, and they’re under cooked. Only thing different about them is they have feta on top).

At first the ultra-modern look and lack of customers put me off from eating here. After a hard day of moving, my friends and I came here for dinner and despite our general tired/sweaty/dirtyness we were served quickly and politely. The food was amazing! I’ll have to go back and try some other things, but what we had was fantastic. The table ordered appetizers and burgers and they were great. It was happy hour and we dropped less than $ 90 for a group of 6 eating dinner. I highly recommend the blue cheese burger.

This place is trying to be a trendy new neighborhood spot, but hasn’t quite figured out their rhythm yet. Unlike many of the reviews, we had very attentive service. The food did seem to take an unusually long time to arrive, though. I thought everything we had was really good(we mostly sampled their«Greek» offerings), especially the Greek fries, but it doesn’t blow you away for the prices.

If you are looking for an authentic Greek restaurant… keep looking. There were 3 other people here for lunch yesterday yet the bartender/server still managed to fail at doing a good job. She was busy looking at photos on the computer. We seated ourselves and put in a drink and appetizer order. We received our drinks, drank them and waited for a long time to put in our food order. We didn’t see the waitress again until after our appetizer arrived. We were asked if we wanted waters(which we didn’t) but weren’t offered any refills. They screwed up on one of our orders… the Bacon & Mushroom Burger Dip lacked bacon and mushrooms. My girlfriend received a plain burger on bread with a miniscule slice of cheese. We were never checked on to see if the food was alright. We told the server about the lack of ingredients and she discounted the single menu item by 50%. Not very generous considering they forgot how to make a bacon & mushroom burger. Not too mention it wasn’t eaten and only picked at. My personal pizza was pretty weak. I’m guessing it started out as a frozen cheese pizza that they dressed up with some toppings. We will not be going back.

I wouldnt call Kristos a Greek restaurant… I’d call it a neighborhood grill and bar with some Greek food selections. Although they have your typical fast and easy Greek — pita with hummus, olives, gyros, Greek salads — their menu consists more of salads, burgers, and drinks. The food was mediocre. I tried to stay Greek so I ordered their keftedes(Greek meatballs), lamb gyro with a side Greek salad, and a an Amstel Light. The meatballs were just your standard meatball — nothing that set it apart as a «Greek-style» meatball. The lamb gyro was tasty although a bit too oily for my taste, and the side Greek salad was tasty. Service was fast and friendly. The décor and layout reminds me of a sports pub. Maybe I’ll come back during their happy hour and watch a Sounders game.

I was not impressed with Kristos, which is tragic as my close location tempts me in there occasionally. We went there once for takeout during lunch time and it was empty, but it still took them 5 minutes to acknowledge us! The food was pricey for the mediocre ingredients and bland flavor. I would pass on this and go to Pazzo’s just down the street instead!

Just okay. It’s sleek and all, but feels cold, like every other chic place in Belltown. The downstairs area is badly laid out — it always feels crowded and uncomfortable. The upstairs lounge is successfully wrecked by a huge flat screen. Bad acoustics all around. I like the food okay, but the drinks are just not great — nothing special, pretty weak. Not worth the money! No complaints about the service. Just doesn’t blow me away!

Kristos is a great, classy little place to kick back with a few beers and watch the game. Décor is very modern and upscale, though without being too chi chi — there’s even an automatic door(odd) at the entrance! This is the only bar I’ve ever seen with that type of door. Service is pleasant, never had any problems. As far as the food goes, it’s good all around. Burgers are fantastic, whichever one you order! Breakfast is also very good — all breakfast items are 11 dollars, their eggs benedict and scrambles are delicious. My one complaint is the size of some of the portions. The gyro, which also costs $ 11, was about half the size of the typical gyro you’d order at Aladdin’s for less than half the price! Some of their«greek» inspired food feels a bit poser-ish, definitely less than authentic and seems like an excuse for the restaurant to bump up prices on their entrees that are otherwise standard American bar food. The quality of the food is always excellent, just sometimes the portions are small — you may not get the best bang for your buck here. On the other hand, drink specials are quite good — $ 5 martinis on Tuesdays!

3.5 stars I liked this place. A lot. It was mostly because of the great company, but the food + wine definitely enhanced my enjoyment. Met up with two girlfriends and we shared the mezze plate, two pizzas, Greek fries, and chicken skewers. Each had a martini(half price on Tuesdays!), then shared a bottle of the Explorador sauvignon blanc. Yummy! Our server was hilarious and the atmosphere was modern with a hip vibe. There’s apparently a second floor with pool tables but we didn’t venture up there. There’s a garage next to the restaurant where you can park for free, but I’d try to street park first because there’s maybe 10 spaces in that tiny garage. There’s a lot across the street, but I don’t if that’s free. Enjoy!

Sunday brunch. Nobody there and service was still super slowww. Bloody Mary was no good. Website said one complimentary with meal = NOPE. Got charged. Whatever, just gave him a lower tip for his mistake. Food was okay, but not worth the price ATALL. I had to walk up to the bar to get coffee refill. I’m 5 ft tall, I could only see my forehead in the bathroom mirror. WTF?!? This place is a major FAIL!

I was at this place on 2−12−11. Kristo’s is definitely underrated & overlooked if you ask me. This place has a modern & sleek look to it. This is usually a place that me & my boss will go to prior to Husky basketball games. We only go during their happy hour times prior to games. The prices are great during happy hour. I remember I was in a group of 3, & we all ate for under $ 40 combined, including drinks. The lamb gyros & house salad are great. This is not a place I expect a top notch four course meal at. Just a nice pre game meal. They make their drinks strong here, which is great. It’s perfect if you like a place that is usually quiet, & in some ways an intimate setting. Service is speedy to me. Always a good thing right? Everything is kept clean here, as well as the restrooms. Yay for cleanliness! The only drawback in going to this place is the parking. They have a very small parking lot that holds less than 20 cars. It usually stinks to boot. To the point where you need to get out of there quick or risk feeling queasy. Other than the garage its neighborhood street parking. It’s free. I recommend this place.

Love the food. Love the blue! Haven’t been back here for awhile, and I’m glad I came back! I just wished we were here for HH instead. Must come to HH versus dinner time. Prices are super $$. $ 11 for a gyro? Sure, its delicious, buuuttt… its like the gyro you can get on the Ave(at Aladdin’s). We ordered a 7″ pizza, gyro, Greek fries w/feta and a Kristo burger. Yum! The burger was delicious, with black-sesame bun, bacon, cheese(ok, all the works.) I got the soup,(which, I thought would this great QFC like soup) but it tasted like… lemon congee!!! That part failed. I also ordered a mimosa… which basically was a small champange glass. That failed too. Tasted like o.j. without a splash of alcohol :(Drank that $ 6 purchase in three gulps. Came on a Saturday night around 8:45ish. Pretty dead. But our server was super friendly, and attentive. She changed the candle for us, after noticing it was dead. Offered us a Valentine’s menu as well. Would be great to host a party upstairs. Liked the music playing. Parking in the garage next to it. However, very, very, limited parking spaces.

Cheesy, garlicky Greek fries — score! The chicken souvlaki was surprisingly juicy and tender. After I ordered it, I felt a twinge of regret. Pessimistic me thought for sure the chicken would be dried out and overcooked. But it wasn’t! And the accompanying tzatziki was delicious. My only gripe is that the small side of veggies(raw tomatoes and cukes) didn’t look or taste very fresh. My companions liked their dishes, too(bf got the grilled chicken sandwich; our friend had the Pastitsio). Wish their menu were more Greek(missing staples like avgolemono, skordalia, and spanakopita), but would love to come back for HH and their lamb souvlaki.

We went here for lunch and were the only patrons for lunch. The host told us they just recently changed their hours to open up for lunch which explained the slow traffic in this trendy restaurant and bar. Food was pretty darn good. I had the gyro and greek fries and it was just as delicious as their lamb skewer plate. Service was excellent. Host was extremely friendly and chatted with us as we waited for our food. I will definitely be back in the evening to check out their happy hour and of course, their lovely wine list.

Décor is very contemporary and clean. Bartender was nice and polite — attentive to my drink. The food was okay — but it was mostly just status quo. Nothing stands out to me at all. It was just okay.

I like it here. First off I love the Greek Spaghetti. it’s so very good. I’m not sure what the people who didn’t like this place are talking about all the food I’ve had there has been super! Also, I planned a party here and the staff was super helpful and amazing during the party the only downside was that the room upstairs is way to brightly lit so people preferred not being in there. That aside it was an excellent experience!
